  • This video explains the Difference between Uniform and Non-Uniform Flow. Uniform flow is a type of flow where the velocity of fluid does not change with respect to space, where the unsteady flow is a type of flow where the velocity of fluid changes with respect to space. For more details please watch full video.

    Thanks for that video.
Is it good to say that an uniform flow is also a steady flow, regarding the velocity?

      No

When the inlet velocity changes from 2 m/s to 4 m/s still the velocity in the entire pipe remains at 4 m/s. But we could see that velocity with respect to time has changed but with respect to space remains constant. That is not steady but uniform flow. Please correct me if I am wrong
