Very very impressive. I rarely take Grail Knight on Cata, even with other players. The tech in this gameplay, on top of the skill. A lot could be learned from these just by watching closely. Top notch stuff.
Hey ChocoB, love your videos, they always motivates me to play, I was wondering about two things, do you have your settings listed somewhere, and do you tweak the spawn rate of the enemies to compensate with the lack of bots ?
By settings, do you mean graphics settings? Or in general? Yes, it is. Not just with or without bots, but I like to enjoy Cata Solo in a casual way, so I've adjusted the Bosses and Specials a bit. Other than that, I think it was the default.

For the final talent that affects blessed blade do you think the sweep is overall better? I stuck with the talent that gave the double strike since it melts monsters but I I’ve only somewhat recently made the jump to legend and I notice it hasn’t been as powerful as it once was
If you want to be a boss killer, pick virtue of audacity (double stab attack). if you want help clearing tough hordes, then pick virtue of confidence (slash attack). I'd say both are really good tho so pick whatever you'd like!
Basically, Virtue of Audacity is recommended. The disadvantage is the large gap between the motion from the first stage to the second stage, and the risk of damage. And when defeating a particular enemy mixed in a group, I think that Virtue of confidence, which has a higher number of engulfment, is more accurate and safer. This is just my personal opinion in the case of Solo.
whats better for hordes with the bret longsword? L1 block cancel L1 spam, L1 H1 spam or L1 L2 block cancel L1 L2 spam? i imagine L1H1 is only good if there are specials or elites mixed in right?
What I don’t understand is how you manage to kill them during 5:51 it’s not like you deal damage over time or was it they can take fall damage after push??? Please help
had my toes clenched the entire hilltop fight since i saw that there were two runs thinking you were gonna bite it at any moment. Stressfully engaging as always

light attack 1 -> hold block then let go -> light attack 1, basically resetting the attack sequence. for shield bash its push -> light attack 1 -> repeat
I was inspired with your games to try solo on legend but special are too much to handle for me. They is always one assassin jumping from the back in clutch moment. This proof me you deserve even more respect for your plays. Keep do it as Pro 👍
@@LancerkiLs The angle of h1 h2 makes it so it hits multiple targets, you can see in the video that SV get staggered. If you meant damage wise H3 l3 are good at sniping single entities but elites were among hordes or other elites so you get more value and less risk with h1 h2.
I struggle to accept many of the choices you did with the build. The crit talent above 30% power even though the power increases your stagger and therefor your temp hp gain. Crits always oneshot everything except monsters and lords anyway. You also combined Virtue of Penitent (str pot talent) with decanter so you pay the opportunity cost of having more bonuses without being able to benefit from spawning your own purple pots. You also picked Virtue of the joust (push arc) instead of Virtue of discipline (20% power from block) despite running a brettonian swords and shield. The only way i could have disagreed more is if you also combined barkskin with Virtue of stoicism (thp gained from taking dmg)

there are some spots in certain maps that count as "cliffs" despite not looking like so. any enemy pushed there will instantly die

I have to try that weapon combo, didn't even know britsword and shield had a shieldbash *_*
im not sure but i think its weaker then other shield weapons, cause its push - light combo for push and bash

My Guess is that it's to hit more ennemies and stagger more.
