Sorry I lost in the end due to a simple mistake, I should have picked Battle Wizard because Finale Event requires faster destruction and mobility. I think the concept of the map is great.

love the voice acting here. i haven't played vermintide in ages but that's an absolutely choice evil sorceress. i aspire to that vibe.
Its odd to me they never buffed the passive to proc sooner. Every time you finally get it, you basically don't need it anymore since you've already killed almost all the enemies.
that's because of the build he's running. I run dual hammers and i get it to full when only about 10-20% of the horde has been cleared. Because Choco doesnt spam light attacks it takes him a lot longer
It becomes good at legendary or higher difficulty
4:30 seems fine
tired of people saying this. its very obvious you either play on recruit difficulty or just cant kill elite enemies in a horde

Actually its not. After a few months playing this map, same happened to me like 6 times or so, and they always fly over you, so no luck.
Having Victor fight the Necromancer is perfect from a Gameplay perspective :D

What’s your opinion on paired skull splitters vs flail and shield in terms of horde clearing
Dual hammers might be a tad better for straight skaven hordes but the flail and shield is better for armor damage as well as mixed hordes.

btw noticed you used Bolt Staff at the second attempt. Is there any reason or benefits to using that staff over Beam Staff (besides for fun)? From my experience with the two staves, Bolt Staff's only perk over Beam was that back in V1 it was Homing like trueflight. But since it lost that in V2, what does it offer? Beam already comes with a long range sniping, alongside boss damage with the beam and crowd clearing with it's shotgun blast. It's always made me curious what the point of Bolt is.
It could make use of the +50% damage from BW's talent

i disagree, i played cata with randoms on the day of release and we did the 12minute okri challenge on the 4th attempt.
The truest solo that ever truly soloed so much so in fact that the true solo that we have witnessed has made all other true solos bare minimum.
Congratulations you are truly the warhammer vermintide 2 you have earned this title from true soloing ur way to the top.

So…is Sofia an amethyst wizard or a necromancer? The game seems pretty vague on that account. I’m pretty sure the lore of death has nothing to do with raising the dead
Necromancer definitely, she summons skeletons in the final section of the map
Necromancer 100%, no prior colour college education.
No the Amethyst Wind is about the finality and inevitability of death. Necromancy and the Lore of Undeath borrow a tiny bit from the Winds of Dhar (Dark Magic) irrc to reanimate corpses.
As aesthetically cool as the end event was, I always hate it because it makes a number of classes like Outcast Engineer practically unplayable without god-level skills. From the untouchable Blightstormers that spawns outside of map, to the flying skulls that effs with the barrel, to the lasers that practically requires you to have a dash to avoid in higher difficulties. Worse, the skull and laser are so easy to miss in the chaos of everything happening because they're such a translucent and light blue colour.

what do you mean 'the concept of the map'? I found it to be incredibly boring until you get to the end, and even then the end is probably not as challenging as the end of trail.

Agreed. I will say I do like Tower of Treachery MORE than Trail of Treachery. I always go back to menu if i join a quick play in Trail of Treachery. It's just a boring slog of a map.
