Hey guys, I'd like to ask a question. I'm a recent returnee to Pixelmon, currently playing version 9.1.10 of the mod. The map has expanded quite a bit now, and I've noticed that version 9.1.11 of the mod has changed the mechanism for gym generation. My question is, can I simply replace my mod version with 9.1.11, and will it still generate Electric-type and Dragon-type gyms normally as I progress further in the game? Or do I need to start a new save file with the new version of the mod?
You can simply replace the mod version and continue with your current world. However, note that Dragon and Electric Gyms will only spawn in new chunks.

Just recently got back into this and we're having with throwing pokeballs outside of battle, that they'll break out of the balls even a masterball - is this a bug that is known to the developers?

I haven't been able to use mega evolution outside of battle, nor the groundon orb, has that changed
Best to ask about it in Pixelmon's Discord server. They should have a side mod you can add that makes it work again.
Why don't master balls always catch? I threw one at a raikou and it ran away, and when I tried it I realized that they were all running away. WTF

You don't need the anvil to craft Poke Balls anymore. It was removed from the game.
