    Follow these steps to fix a paper jam on HP OfficeJet 5200, 5230 Printers:
    To clear jam automatically, Touch OK on the printer control panel.
    To clear manually, while the printer is powered on, disconnect the power cord and any other cables from the printer.
    The areas where jams are likely to occur are:
    the input tray,
    the bottom, which can be accessed by holding the scanner lid and turning the printer on its side,
    the ink cartridge access area, which includes under the paper path cover.
    Put the paper path cover back into the printer.
    If you find jammed paper in the ink cartridge access area, move the carriage all the way to one side, then to the other side to make sure no paper remains jammed in the printer.
    Plug in the power cord and any other previously disconnected cables.
    Try to print your document.
    If the paper jam continues, service the printer.

    THANK YOU! For showing clearly and slowly the paper path cover 0:58 and how to remove it, that's where our paper was stuck and we couldn't figure out how to get to that part.

    My printer is Hp Ink Advantage 3636 and it is showing a blinking light with incompatible cartidges which were given from the company itself.

    Mein Drucker meldet mir Papierstau obwohl kein Papierstau vorliegt, drucken ist nicht moglich. Was ist der Fehler?

      @@HPSupportHP Office Jet 5232 / zuerst im Display die Meldung: der Drucker wurde nicht korrekt Heruntergefahren... (eigentlich schon) danach Papierstau, bitte öffnen sie.....es ist aber kein Papierstau vorhanden

    Did not show the only thing I needed to know which was HOW TO OPEN THE DAMN TOP. Apparently there is a mystical ridge you need to put your fingers in, but you'd never know it from this.

    Nobody is telling how to open the back door on unit. I moved and threw out my instructions and all videos don’t describe that access door. Help? Feels like Groundhog’s day!

    Hp sucks. Their support is awful and their printers break so quick. Get the extended warranty! Oh wait, they won't help you if you have problems, never mind.
