  • Once again Jason comes out to clear firewood from lot #2. Both Jason and I have small firewood production and selling businesses as well as tree cutting, food plot installation, demolition, and excavation. Pretty much if it’s outdoors related we do it. Jason is running a Husqvarna Rancher saw. He needs a Pro grade saw! I have my Stihl 036 Pro and my Modded Makita 7901. Once again the Honda 300 4x4 with the DR log trailer get the job done.

Thanks, definitely could do without the water. At least the mulch on the ground helped keep us out of the mud.

Yeah not a big fan of cutting or splitting in the rain. Lots of branches on those trees to cut. Prefect sized rounds.

nice cutting and standing up an bucking btw 👍👍.
but where's your ppe only because safety first and live to cut another day buddy believe me i have seen stuff happen to fellers firewoodcutters and I did wildfire fighting and felling and almost been tagged a few time now i wear mine no matter the job or size of it.
Also never be afraid to walk away from a tree and tell a person u either don't feel comfortable or confident enough to do it safely. or ask for help or feedback to drop it safely. also never be afraid to let someone who's more comfortable or confident to take lead on a job its not a sign of weakness or lack of skill sometimes its safer and the smarter thing to do never be afraid to watch an learn something new. It is how we as timber cutters learn and how changing up the playing field is a good thing and the more we know and know it the better we are as cutters to teach the upcoming cutters.

Thanks, I do not drop many trees without my helmet on, know I never should but sometimes with smaller trees in the open I will. Almost Always have my ears, gloves, and chaps on though.

@@hardworkingmanoutdoors any time also my bad as well if it seemed like i was grilling you on having your ppe i apologize for that. It is simply because im a stickler for ppe now cause of everything i been through an seen and when it comes to trades or people working in a environment where its got potentially dangerous conditions, harzzords, material's u name it should be taken seriously including what ppe they need to have on.

I love how you replaced the sound of chain saws with repetative boring music.

I sometimes throw music in and other times keep the natural sound. I definitely need to update my music library though. Unfortunately finding decent copyright free music isn’t easy.

what a gigantic mess. what are you doing with the branch litter?

They just mulch it up and then bring in a dozer. We just got permission to get the firewood out and leave what we didn’t want.
