Thanks for sharing it mate! Will get mine done the same way, however how loud it became after modification? At what rpm it gets uncomfortable to drive if any?
It was never uncomfortable to drive and no drone at any condition. It honestly made it harder to stay out of the throttle haha. It sounds super good. I think it shoulda sounded this way from the factory since it's the supercharged sport version.
Did you straight pipe past the no 7, or put a x-pipe in? I'm booking mine in locally in the UK and they have asked which I would prefer. My guess if a home mod is two straight pipes
Zero drone. It just sounds perfect inside and outside. There is some of my other videos that are in the cab and you'll get a good idea of how it is. Completely worth it. Made the Rover sound so damn good!
Hack The Planet not really better mileage, on these it's pretty bad lol, but performance wise throttle response was improved noticeably and I'd say it definitely netted me an HP increase however I have no dyno sheet to prove it.
I'm not sure what you're trying to ask? It made the truck louder and much deeper, throatier, and aggressive sounding. It was the best mod I did to the truck.
@@martinfloyd9663 I dont remember but I think it was 55mm? I believe I used 2.5" exhaust tube and it was a little large so part of it I had to fill in the gap by welding it.
@@joebidden4914 i like your videos bro. I think I'm gonna do this.. My wife is a welder so she can actually do the welding for me. So do I just cut that piece out that you showed in the beginning of this video and then just run straight pipe connecting back to the rest of everything or what?
@@willbean921 thanks Bro! Yea It cost me all of i think $20 for the aluminized tubing and all of an hour to hour and a half to drop exhaust, cut and measure, set up placement to keep proper exhaust angle and weld on straight pipe and put back in place. It makes a helluve difference in sound. I wish it sounded this good from the factory. I also had zero drone at all driving around town or on the freeway. It'll be the best cheapest mod you can do to your rover.
Just did mine today, its unbelievably how fun it is.
It's hard to stay off the skinny pedal isn't it 😁
@@joebidden4914 truee and we have a gasoline crisis in oir country ://

I did straight pipe not X pipe
Hey man, you're in WA, me too, live in Everett. I'd love to chat about your RR sport as I'm looking to buy a 2006 also.
Jay Bierman I traded mine in for a truck lol. I actually was selling it, it's down at Bill Korums Nissan in Puallup now unless it's already sold lol
love the mod, is there any drone at all? how’s the interior cabin noise?
Zero drone. It just sounds perfect inside and outside. There is some of my other videos that are in the cab and you'll get a good idea of how it is. Completely worth it. Made the Rover sound so damn good!
Is it up for sale.?
No sorry, I sold this a long time ago. I traded it in for my Ram.
Did you experience better mpg or performance ?
Hack The Planet not really better mileage, on these it's pretty bad lol, but performance wise throttle response was improved noticeably and I'd say it definitely netted me an HP increase however I have no dyno sheet to prove it.
Do we test ourselves decibels?
I'm not sure what you're trying to ask?
It made the truck louder and much deeper, throatier, and aggressive sounding. It was the best mod I did to the truck.
Is this the v6 or v8?
I don't think they had a v6. Just a naturally aspirated and a supercharged V8. This is the supercharged V8
Did you sleeve the pipes or have you had to weld them in place
I welded them in place.
@@joebidden4914 sweet do you remember the size of the pipe required ?
