    Great vid, thanks. First one I’ve seen on compositing. Now I’m very curious to see if the glare node can make my recessed pot lights look a lot better.

    How could I add glare to the world material in the background, but exclude objects in the foreground?

    I was hoping I could do this in post, in the video editor, with the glare mod there. Mostly because the glare node does not work over alpha transparency. thanks for the vid

    if you set the mix to 1 you will get a better idea of the influence the glare is having on your scene you can then adjust your threshold. nice tutorial!
