Ripe pineapple smells strongly of pineapple at the bottom of the pineapple, and the top leaves are easily pulled off. Good melons have a certain sound to them when you knock on them, but coloring is also an indicator. It's about finding the best fruit for your money.
@@INatalkaI which is why I just follow my daughters lead. She doesn’t like something, she will let me know. I’m aware not all Fruits and veggies are gonna be squishy like tits.
Fruit sniffer?!?! Yeah I’ve been called worse 😂😂
I spend so much time gropping fruit in the grocery store 😂

We just remember what ripe fruit actually smells like, rather than getting stuff the isn't ready yet
Did u just out yourself 😂
Ok but there is an actual reason to the melon one LOL the hollow sound means it’s ready to be eaten!
It's to test if they are ripe or not. Come on people lol.
I smell my bagged potatos.
My daughter sniffs and smells her food for sensory reasons. Why others do it and not gently squish it like a titty is beyond me.
Just because it's soft does not mean it's good. Lots of fruits and veggies might be ripe but taste bland. You can often smell the taste so to speak.
