How do you NOT have a passel of kids and/or old guys hanging around all the time. My dad was like you, always fixing stuff, mostly old chevrolets(55,56,57) and mowers and stuff. We always had folks over. Coolest bikes ever man, great designing and building there.
very cool bike's, the little details are hidden everywhere,. I especially like the what looks like an old handwarmer intake? and the headlight flashlight. awesome!!!
Wow, those Tempos were actually build in Hamburg in Germany, they started out with a three wheeler transport vehicle and were relativly popular in the 1950's
I stopped at a yard sale in Hinsdale NH few years ago that had a few of these type of bikes out for sale. One had an old lawn boy 2 stroke engine mounted to it - by the cylinder size it looked like it had some good power. Need to do the sweep thru again this season. Almost always find some great stuff - unlike in Mass where i mostly find over priced crap never understood that. Been to some good ones in brattleboro as well. I feel better knowing i'm not the only one who saves little bits of stuff - good stuff. BUT then uses it when it counts, man the crap i get for that! Great stuff !
I like them both. The green one would get the most milage. My problem would be how fast can I make them! It's about the speed. I can't help myself . Catch me if U can. 👍👍🏍👀
It's great to see all your custom builds all in one video D. To all the people asking questions about a perticular bike... Go back and watch him build them in earlier vids... They are very well made creations and entertaining videos.
As a computer tech I much more enjoy time with a broken pc, than a working one. I suspect it's like that for motorheads. Having a great time fixing it. I love the steampunk style of your bikes.
i love these hand built mini bikes, such a shame UK road laws make riding them on public roads impossible, if i could register and ride it i'd build one but alas not so i enjoy yours.
Rub and Buff can be used on plastic as well, really any smooth surface you want to appear metal. Try using less when applying, just a BB size dab on a cloth covered finger and rub it in. A little goes a long way. Bikes look great !
Your bikes are works of art. You should build and sell those things, you could made some good $ I bet. Oh and BTW your soldering issues are because your iron is not hot enough not the flux.
these are epic!!! new to your channel... do you have more vids on these? love the 'found parts' look they have while still having all the lines of a true chopper. so badass!
I just came over to your channel after seeing you comment on several videos i was watching. looks like you really enjoy the small engines. great builds! the $200. f150 video caught my eye as most of my videos are truck builds.
love to watch u repair and fix things! HOWEVER, to save yourself alot of pain, and serious injury, stay off busy small roads like in front of your house entirely when testing or riding, and mount rearview mirrors on both sides on all bikes u intend to use on road! likely u will ignore this, but as i like u i had to bring it up...
Well the kids are all tuned up, ready to go strut their stuff and make you proud Dad. That small radial at the end was awesome. Maybe something you might take a stab at?
Hey bud, maybe that fan cowling could use a bit of added 'distress' -maybe beat it up a bit with a string of nuts and bolts, and add a few small shallow random dents... then hit er with the shoe dye, and a bit of real grime. :)
Ah! One more thing man.. I bet it would be easy to make a tuned pipe out of that bat, which would probably give ya quite a boost in performance, and fuel savings, even if you just wing it, and do some guestimating on the geometry. you've already got a diverging section, and a belly...Now you just need a converging section you can shove down the end of the pipe, and try it in different locations along the length of the already existing belly, until you get closest to wherever you want it tuned most. ..Lol, you could almost shove a metal funnel inside there... and you'd already have the basis for your stinger, as well. :)
Got the same small engine that you tried that polish on; unfortunately i left it out side over winter and it didn't fair well, but i saved all the good parts. Never know when u need spare parts. Do like the Black metal polish look.
What artistry! Such fascinating and beautiful creations!
Right on awesome bike collection nice builda
Great engineering, nice bikes.
Cool Van. Very interesting.
I also really do like the green one. I'd be super proud to have something like that around my house.

The trim ring attached to a 20" rim to be used as a rear sprocket blew my mind !
these are soooo cool!

Awesome bikes. I gotta find something to make one.
Love that van at the end, at least engine parts will be easy to find...Morris minor, Austin mini, and many others use the A series engine.
Very good idea
Great video Darrin I really enjoyed all the content in this one. You're still undefeated Cold Start KING. 👑
Plugged pilot jet.
Love the sound of the green one. Reminds me of an old hit-and-miss engine.
Mustie Motto: Stay Calm and Clean the Carb. Teach is great to watch do it all.
Nice builds
That green Schwinn bike is just cool. All of them are really nice, but my favorite is the green Schwinn.
There's actually quite a cool collection.! You've got quite a talent there!

It's nice to see them all again, Mustie. Good idea to lose the gold too. I didn't think it looked that bad until you changed it. Thanks!!

it's probably a good thing for you that the bus wasn't for sale, but it is cool and unique.
@Mustie1 awesome bikes! The baseball bat exhaust is genius!!!
You have to be the coolest dad on the block, or at least one damn interesting neighbor.
Wow! You really have lots of neat toys.
One of those *Radial* would look sick on a bike...
So much fun in one day..
I like the E.J. Potter style use of old wrenches.
Cool projects, must get around to all of mine lol
The vision that it takes to create these bikes is inspiring.
Good mechanics are sexy

The homemade bike buffet always creates a big smile at this end!

I dig that baseball bat exhaust! 👍🏁😀
I agree, it is very cool.
On the ELECTRIC bike? haha all good.
occ never made a baseball bat exhaust,
I like the builds. Do you use mower deck pulleys for drive systems?
I just came over to your channel after seeing you comment on several videos i was watching. looks like you really enjoy the small engines. great builds! the $200. f150 video caught my eye as most of my videos are truck builds.

A bit of the old Bakers Soldering Fluid makes soldering easier.
the bikes look great!
I love the stingray! My freind just got one for free and we really want to motorized it next summer 😎 we own a few mini bikes and gas powered bikes
Where did you get the throtle control assembly for the bike?

Ive always wanted to be able to do exactly what you do with your toys.
Hey bud, maybe that fan cowling could use a bit of added 'distress' -maybe beat it up a bit with a string of nuts and bolts, and add a few small shallow random dents... then hit er with the shoe dye, and a bit of real grime. :)
