@@makpak My first year was probably my best year in terms of sales. After that I got a job and now that I do it part time I haven't put in as much effort. I want to get back to those numbers!
This is the video I have been looking for. All these other numnuts just talk about how much money they make doing RA/OA and almost no advice on running a business or how to do it. I go and scan everything under the sun and I’m gated in everything that I have been selling for a long time on eBay. No one cares how much money you make. Show us how to do it. Thank you.
Thank you so much for sharing these insights! I'm seeing people selling products that are branded specifically to stores that do not sell wholesale (ex: Target, Trader Joes, Etc). I'd like to sell the same products, however since I am a new seller the brand is showing as gated. in my Seller Central. I'd only be able to provide a receipt not an invoice since they do not sell wholesale. Is the only way to get ungatted by selling/building up my stats as a seller and hope I get auto approved in the future?
Most likely if you are gated in products that are store branded, it's the category and not the brand that's gated. For Trader Joes you are probably gated in grocery.
You mentioned you were still gated in Nike and Barbie. 1) is this still the case? If so, why? Is it hard to find a licensed distributor for these products that would actually sell to you? I only ask because that second method you mentioned seems easy enough as long as you can produce an invoice.
Barbie I'm definitely ungated in because of wholesale. For Nike, it's going to be hard to find a legitimate supplier who will sell in small enough quantities to get ungated.
@@watchingchannel4463 ik he should’ve named it “A tutorial on how to potentially get ungated when selling a particular brand or item on Amazon given a long enough time frame and the adequate resources”
Do you use Scoutify 2? since it's connected to invetory labs? I find it easier to scan items, if I buy them, put them on a buy list and then export the csv file and then upload in inventory labs. Do you recommend this vs. typing in each ASIN on inventorylabs? (this is in regards to retail arbitrage)
If the invoice have several categories, will they accepted or the prefer different invoice for each category. I don’t really want pay many shipping fee. Frontier co op said if I want different invoice for each category, I have to do different shipping batch. Is Amazon really picky about combine many categories on same invoice when I ungate?
As long as what you are applying for is included with the invoice you can use it multiple times. I've used the same invoice to apply for multiple things because I bunch multiple items.

I have tried so many products but not been approved is it because I have not sold one product? I have a question I hope you can please respond what if I scan a product and it’s not even listed on Amazon do you think it’s a good idea to list the product?
When you're first getting started it's going to be hard to find products to sell. It takes a lot of time. I don't personally list products that aren't currently on Amazon.
How about if we are just started our business and we don't have any sales and inventory yet and we want our first listing like in any brand or category on amazon?
I just bought some items (skin care) from the companies direct website and not using a wholesaler. The website says "not for resale only private use", they did not provide me an invoice with their company names only a general receipt. I emailed them for an invoice, do you think once I give amazon the invoice I will be allowed to sell that specific product on amazon? It cost me $7 each and I see them selling for $30 on amazon.
I don't believe you'll be able to get ungated with a receipt from the company. You generally need an invoice with your company name. Doesn't hurt to try though.
@@pathtobillions8070 I don't think I have have my company name on the "requested invoice" from the company however I have the name of the company owner on it. (What if I photoshop the company name on it) I purchased 100 of these items and dont want to be stuck with it. lol Also, thank you for the great content I subbed and notification bell is on!
@@Swag694 I definitely wouldn't photoshop anything because if Amazon catches it you could get in trouble with them. I know the rule of thumb is receipts don't work for ungating, but since you already bought the items you can try. Usually you don't try buying items unless you're already allowed to. Thank you for the support!
Amazon probably knows the majority of wholesale suppliers because they're such a big player, so they probably don't bother. It's always possible though.
Amazon won't contact the supplier lol. How do I know? They already have internal "approved" suppliers. They just look that up and that's about it. Amazon is messed up. They could careless about you. Bottom line is that they make money lol.
You're such a small channel trying to grow. Why not add actual value by providing the name of one legit supplier in this video? Other larger channels have done this. You only have so many chances to get someone to subscribe and follow your channel
I have another video all about finding wholesale suppliers if you want to find some of your own. You need different wholesale suppliers depending on what you want to get ungated on.
Let me know what other topics you want covered about Amazon FBA!
Dude, how did you make 200k in your first year? What am I missing! What was your rough investment?
