- Tubbs Hometown Hi Fi with Daddy Roy from 1975 that I have been working on...Think this is another from Mr Dave Brown, respect is due as always Mr Brown.. This is a 40 minute edit of it That we at WCTD would like to Dedicate to Dave Hendley who very sadly had to leave much too early.....
You're photos were inspiring and those compilation's were impeccable... The Rebel Music double set was one of the records that helped shape my life........ So much great music has been played for your journey to a better place over the last week or so, we wanted you to have something from the WCTD posse and could only be the King for the King behind the lens...
Sincere condolences to all Dave's family and Many, many friends...
Travel well..... PEACE
so crystal clear sound for a late 70's tape, Give Ital thanks Jayman, unlimited respect !!!
The microphone on the tape recorders could not handle the bass, they were not better than what we have today on some cell phones, crank up the bass and they distort like hell.
Magnificent
the original recording was pretty decent, especially as it was from that era in Jamaica... got some great software that I've been collecting over the years and am really pleased with the results of this one... will post the whole hour of it in Wav form later on this evening for download.... Thanks for the feedback Dudley, much appreciated... PEACE
This is truly a wonderful tribute to Dave Hendley you have posted soundwise and writtenwise. Respect Corkman.
That bass is devastating😲! Tubbys No1 dubmaster. 👍👍👍👍👍
you should check out some of the 70's Jahlove's over on WCTD Dudley... some through the set, crystal clear and full of Top a Top selection.... PEACE
King Tubby the dubmaster...
No guy test the dub originator.
Wow!!!! Had to edit it because this is a priceless tape big up Jayman from DHR days, that Lynval Thompson is a banger talking about Tubbys sound. That's gotta be the earliest anyone played a dub plate talking about their sound 1975. Anyone know any earlier mek me know. Bless
Do you mean the earliest ina JA?
@@Higher_Sun_Highzak earliest anywhere, name me a earlier dub & post proof.
@@quantro65 lol mon full ah jokes. Tubbs was master, but nuff mon where running dubs in 75. Too many to mention.
