Aww I loved this one 💛 tip for the next cake: DON'T mix it to much. The more and vigorously you mix it the denser and more rubber like it will get. That's a thing about vegan cake that took me a while to find out. If you mix it really gently and just enough so it's smooth it will be fluffy when baked! I have a fabulous go to chocolate cake recipe that has not failed me if you like 😘🎂

My first batch of brownies turned into coal, too much cocoa powder and a too hot oven are not a good combo xD but in some cases, mistakes are a good thing, this one time instead of putting in vanilla aroma I have by accident poured in rum. Now I have a recipe of my own, caramel/peanut/rum/choc balls 😍

I had such a hard time making vegan cakes, but I got the "Ms Cupcake: The Naughtiest Vegan Cakes in Town" Book by Mellissa Morgan and omg I SOOO RECOMMEND IT!! her recipes are super easy, and they come out perfect every single time! There's cupcake recipes but also proper cake recipes and all sorts of other treats, legit best thing ever. I often bake the cakes in there for my non vegan friends and they think they taste better then the cakes they eat. So amazing X

A really easy thing I do to make vegan cakes is use a packet of betty crocker mix and a can of pop (cream sodas the best) and thats it! Plus most of the mixes and frostings are accidentally vegan 😍

Hahaha, the cake situation pretty much exactly happened to my sister and I. Spent the entire day making a really elaborate two or three tiered cake for our mom's birthday, complete with fondant. And it was inedible. I laughed so hard when I saw your outcome - well done with that footage transition from the cheery "all is going perfectly" music during it's preparation :P
