Hi . Thanks again for a great review and awesome video . The more I hear about these Rieju bikes the more I’m convinced that I will definitely buy one from your shop . Thanks again 👍
Awesome video awesome bike!!! Looking forward to our next chance to ride together... The new off-bike camera angles are cool ... You're looking fast sir.
I had a 14 gasgas 300. It was amazing in power and handling! The only thing I noticed was the rad shrouds hurt my knees because of the way they contoured off the gas tank.
He’s running the Pro, which as you know has a fan from the factory. I’ve got a bit over 200 miles on my ‘22 Pro, and I can’t contradict anything Joel said. The handling is wonderfully neutral, the suspension is the best stock stuff I’ve tried, and the engine is very flexible.
I have the 2019 gasgas ec300. Basically same bike. I run tight technical stuff in Australia and have not felt any need to fit a fan. So in NZ I dont think you need to bother with a fan
Hey Bike guy, was hoping you could answer some questions for me. I'm on the fence about get the Ranger or the MR 300 racing. There is only a $900 difference in price. I'm currently riding a 2019 Husky TE 300 tpi. I love the bike but it's to much power/hit some times. I have a throttle tamer and the power valve is turned in one full turn. I like to ride aggressive and in gnarly terrain. Also, I weigh about 175 with gear. I had a chance to ride a 2021 Ranger and was not impress with the power/torque compared to a xtrainer I rode. So, I'm afraid to get the Ranger due to the lack of power, but the MR racing maybe to much again. I know I can do mods to the ranger to get more power. But, by the time I spend the money, would I be better off get the MR 300? THANK YOU.
Hi Mark, coming off a TE 300? the ranger will be too soft for you, the power and suspension is set up for a novice rider, I think you will find the MR300 easier to ride hard enduro!
The new bikes have absolutely zero starter issues.. mine starts all the time while still in gear.. I believe the old gasgas had famous starter issues but that has all been fixed...
Hi Cyril, I'm not sure why I keep getting questions about the Power Valve setting, we run ours in the stock location, the engineers at Rieju know where to set the valve for best performance. I know some guys can't wait to start adjusting things. I have ridden bikes that were screwed up by the owners by making changes that don't need to be done. The only thing I have done to my engine is I changed the needle to a NOZI for a smoother transition from pilot jet to main jet. Set the air screw properly and go ride!
E-start issues have been taken care of with the new Oil bath system, very low vibrations when idling, smooth when running, not as smooth as KTM, but not noticeable when riding!
@@bikeguysoffroad thank you very much for your answer. The bike (just before KTM acquisition) was already nice compared to earlier models. But apparently Rieju really stepped up the game.
These are hidden gems

ive got gas gas xc 250 2019. done 160 hrs . great bike. still on same battery.thinking of getting a reiju
Carb settings and your altitude. Mine is running like crap here in Texas
Can you compare the TM 300 carb with the rieju 300?
Which one do you prefer?
Both TM and Rieju have the same carb, PWK , the difference is in the tuning not just the carburetor -but also in the ECU and power valve

No worries Z, Rieju has updated all the bodywork and frame, all of it is slender and easy on the body! Cheers!
I'm about to pull the trigger on a 300 MR here in New Zealand, have you fitted a fan, or have you the Pro 300?

The Pro is a nice step up, but I would not say no to the racing!!! I think it is the Best Buy in a full enduro motorcycle Period!!

Hello, I have a new rieju mr 300 pro, I only have 6 hours with it and the gear started to fail, that is a factory problem
How does the starter compare to beta, ktm, etc. I've heard that the starter isn't the greatest. I'm very intrigued by this bike.
The new bikes have absolutely zero starter issues.. mine starts all the time while still in gear.. I believe the old gasgas had famous starter issues but that has all been fixed...
Just bought a 300 mr pro recommend chain slack in the manual says 35mm but that looks to tight to me what do you recommend
Thanks for the review. Waiting for my six days version and can’t wait. Did you change the valve setup ? Or needle ?

Where is your shop?
4840 Mill Street Reno NV 89502
Is that the camera or does that bike really run that smooth lol
The camera helps too, I try to ride smooth, which is easy on the Rieju!!
@@bikeguysoffroad got it
estart problem?
vibrations?
compare to the KTM?
thanks
