The release of Pokemon GO was truly something special. It was a surreal time, folks put differences aside and came together for about a week to catch pokemon. When the game was going viral in July of 2016, many would take to RUclips to cash in on the trend by creative game guides and parodies....and some made songs. One such songmaker was a young boy from the Czech Republic known as Misha. Misha created the Pokemon Go song, a jingle with the simple lyrics: "I PLAY POKEMON GO EVERYDAY". The video and the song itself were somewhat obnoxious, and Misha quickly became reaction fodder for youtube commentators. He was made fun of constantly and called cringe for his music. But what few realize is that Misha very much intentionally made obnoxious music to garner attention and fame, and his strategy worked wonderfully. This is the story of Misha, and what has happened to him in recent years.

Alright I got to be honest here Misha and his brother is a based chad, level 1000iq boost to fame. They didn't give a shit what the internet thought of them. They just rode his way to fame in his speed wagon powered by commentary channels and shitty music videos.

I actually have a lot of respect for this guy. Despite receiving endless amounts of hate for being just as cringy as literally any other 9 year old, he came back to the internet, didn't let it affect his mental health, and shut up the trolls, and now he's actually a legitimately impressive musician who makes really good music. One of the greatest internet comeback stories in recent memory.

Yeah, it's pretty low to make fun of a kid's appearance and whatnot when you have a huge channel like those tards did. I could understand if it was a more innocent, playful feud that both sides mutually benefit from (Misha and the "cyberbullies"), but those vultures seem to have got legitimately butthurt over a kids song. Ricegum and the lot seem like the type who would probably piss on their mother's grave if they thought they could make a dollar from it.

True, but not to say that it's ever really too late to start going after your dreams. Also, I think in this case (Misha's specifically) helps that he had an older brother to probably guide him, and explain about internet trolls. This kid could have offed himself had he had thinner skin and let all the hate get to him. Instead, he made it work in his favor and here we all are - praising him. Many of us who used to laugh at Leafy's commentary about the kid back then.

I kind of forgot about Misha but I'm really glad he's doing well. I remember how basically everyone in Czech Republic known him and I was honestly surprised how much popularity he got outside of Czechia.

While other RUclipsr kids are too afraid to stand their ground, Misha on the other hand propelled himself to fame with the hate and became a better satirical artist than those who hated on him! Mad respect, everyone who made a commentary video hating on him was so pathetic, he was playing 4D chess on them! I honestly think it’s really sweet that his brother chose to help him out. Most teens would think their little siblings are lame and would want to do their own thing. I still can’t believe grown ass adults with a HUGE audience made hate videos about a CHILD making innocent videos for FUN. They see a video they could make fun of, and they go with it for clicks without even thinking that they're harming a KID. Says a lot about society.
Trolls are always going to think that they're untouchable, regardless of what they say or do. I get that most people on the internet are like that. People like Leafy made fun of Misha just because they could. The problem with that however, is that can does NOT equal should. That right there is the one thing trolls will never understand. It's good Misha's doing well for himself though.
This kid is more graceful in the face of success and professional haters than most adults I’ve seen. So glad he made the most of every obstacle-turned-opportunity along the way!

Also I’d like to point out that in most places where you can get married at 15, until 18 you need parents permission. Someone who isn’t a child doesn’t need parental consent to do something like that.
Unironically, for how young he was, he didn't sound too bad. He had consistent pitch, could stay on rhythm, and clearly the passion for it. It was kind of inevitable for him to grow up into an actual legitimate musician

It’s just what was normal at the time. I would watch content like that when I was a kid, and I think many of the viewers are kids. It’s like how, in the future, people will look back at us and say we’re horrible for using gas, caring little about the environment, and killing animals in mass. Sure, right now those things aren’t frowned upon on, but they will be. Or how slavery wasn’t seen as wrong… I’m just saying, the world changes and shifts.

I used to support people like Pyro and to a lesser extent, Leafy, I was around 12 at the time so I was still young and clueless, looking back as an 18-year-old, It's actually really sad, this is what youtube once was. I'm really glad he is still going and receiving so much support, I will be one of those supporters

It's astonishing how Misha managed to rise out of this whole thing and become better in the process. He and his brother struck gold real well back then and I'm even more surprised that they just decided to piss on 4 big RUclipsrs of the time just like that makes him a quite respectable figure to me, that's for sure.
I can only wish even more success to those two in the future and get the attention they very much deserve nowadays considering their improvement.

You gotta give it to them. Misha and his brother used the hate in the smartest way possible. They realised what would get commentary youtubers attention and used that to gain millions of views.
For that i congratulate them, and even if it is cringe it’s still wholesome most of the time

I have big respect for Míša, he went through the hate and bullying and he survived without having a mental breakdown and he keeps making videos most of the people would end their youtube channel
I heard that his big brother was very protective of him. Making sure to tell him details of what this was going to be about. Basically a business agreement to make them both rich and famous. I also heard that big brother would shade him from the nasty comments online during these years when he was a kid. He never read the negativity that was being said about him and big brother acted as a filter.
I feel like the major reason it wasn't great was well it was their first song in English they sounded pretty good in their native language but with time they became actually decent in English too. Cant blame him he was a kid at the time he has grown a bit since then and I'm sure he has improved a lot in his skills.
Looking back, Its crazy how sad and pathetic leafy was, a grown ass man in his 20s making fun of children for being children. It's crazy that as a kid I enjoyed that content.

a few years ago, my cousin somehow ended up in a discord with misha and added me to it. he is actually an extremely nice person. it is so sad how much hate he got.
