Iv just booked this for 7th of December , does anyone know if the rooms will be renovated by then and what exactly do you get with adults only as that is what we have booked an have no clue what it means thanks
Adults only section buildings 82 and 83 are the newest edition to the resort before the renovations. I am not sure if they will also be renovated but if they are most likely will be done last. The standard rooms are already renovated and some of the new buildings have been available since Dec I am guessing they are working on the rest, by this dec they should probably all be done. If you booked AO check out my other video I did a room tour we stayed in 83. The room was nice compared to the old standard rooms one of the reasons we upgraded we wanted newer room otherwise we would not have bothered. Those buildings are furthest in the back the last. They have its own infinity pool and Los Corales a smaller buffet serves breakfast and lunch and turns into a restaurant at night I also talk about that in my buffet tour I covered Los Corales. Other than that you don’t really get much different except no kids in the building use of infinity pool and also its own smaller beach which we liked as we found it more quiet we used the beach there every morning and moved to the main area for lunch and use of pool/beach after. The resort so big you will spend a lot of time on the trolly getting around especially if you’re in the AO section. Hope this helps.
We liked Riu Palace Bavaro in 2018 in Punta Cana. Looked into the one in Playacar but I don’t know some issues with it to after watching some vlogs etc. We had a great time at Bahia, no need for Luxury every time If I want that I will go to Luxury. As long as its got a good beach, pool, a decent room and food its not a big deal. Its being renovated and will be amazing after. If you want more newer for now go to Tulum it was renovated already. Akumal’s new rooms will be available as of Dec 1st. We also looked into Runaway Bay one as we wanted to try Jamaica first time last summer and ended up in Mexico. But I know a few people that stayed there and they all loved it. Everyone is different and what your looking for.
@@jarmilastorie7415 cool we looked into that one first to try Jamaica for our first time. But then decided to go back to Mexico. In the future will try Jamaica we got worried hearing about the recent violence there and such. Also not much choice in terms of resorts on a budget its pretty expensive compared to other destinations. We were on a budget this summer.
@@adventura11 we went before covid was not that expensive I bet now it's twice as much. We are trying out Grand Bahia Principe Luxury Acumal adults only timeshare price was not that bad for Mexico

No not on this property. You would have to do an excursion. Barcelo had them.
Looks poor, we stayed in the one in Runaway bay Jamica which was awful.

Runaway Bay Jamaica is one of the best we visited twice adults only best beach!!
