Great video, very informative for anyone thinking of going to this complex. My wife and I have been the the Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an, all adult resort for our last 4 consecutive holiday. We love it there, it's a quick 1 beer ride to the beach on the trolley and the use of any restaurant/bar at the entire complex. Thanks for the tip about going down to the beach at night, something we've never done. My tip #8 would be, learn some Spanish words and phases, the staff appreciate your effort! Cheers!

Not a bad vid... just to add a few more things ...I’ve been here... just incase peeps are thinking of staying at sister resorts and using Akumel you won’t be able to... also rooms are bit tired .. beds quite uncomfortable. You can download and use an app to book your restaurants which you should do straight away... we ate out every night at a diff restaurants... fairly average the restaurant only truly five star is the one beginning with A can’t remember its name think it was the Argonaut above the spa... fish rest is also good... The food is fresh , tasty and the fish is off the hook. Literally😆 For those that like to party ... there is a hacienda linked with the hotel that is about a 5-10min golf cart free shuttle ride that has evening live music and bars with a nightclub that opens till about 3 I seem to remember ... good coz you don’t get late night noise on resort ... also if ya peckish when ya get back from shaking ya thing there is a 24hr marquee open for burgers pizza fries etc . This place is big .... you won’t get bored ... the main thing is that it isn’t really Riviera Maya it is closer to Tulum.. which is about 1hr and half away. from Cancun airport ...one thing I definitely agree with this dude ... Mexico and its people is truly a beautiful place.

We were right down on beach next to adult pool but getting to the pools etc was easy enough. If you want nice rooms & not such a large resort we stayed last at The Royalton riviera Cancun at Xmas. Closer to airport . Isolated on a protected section of coast. Real nice. Pools bit pedestrian like but we hit the beach . Rooms are so nice .. so much so we actually relaxed n stayed in a few nights with room service . Lazy dayz. Man I wanna go Mexico soon.
Great video and we like the look of the resort, we are living out in Australia although I am from the Black Country in the UK and we also tend to spend 50% of our time in the UK, Just wondering with the drinks is wine included and the cocktails? Also how strict are they with trousers for dining? As you can imagine spending half of our time in Australia, I only own about 2 pairs of trousers and don't even wear them when I am in the UK, not too mention they are both Jeans.
Lol yes wine and cocktails are all included. Cocktail are really nice too. To be honest I only too one pair of trousers as we only went to two of the a la carte restaurants. The buffet is brilliant, so we went there most nights along with the sports bar and shirts ok there. Cannot fault the resort at all we will be going back. Thanks for the comment 👍
This hotel room seems a bit of a rip off if that’s a junior suite. In my eyes that’s just a normal sized room. Glad you uploaded. For comparisons, Meliá Marbella rooms are the same sized as this “junior suite”
not for the buffet restaurant your good in shorts, for the a la carte ones the rule is pants but i think you will get away with it to be honest, i took a couple of pairs with me just in case. Have a great time, we will be back for sure!
We've stayed in Tulum part twice and Coba once,i love this hotel,everyone always seems friendly.I watched a video yesterday showing the sports bar in the Coba section,i've never seen it before.I'd reccomend this hotel to anyone.

in your opionion which buildings can be good for a 15 nights stay at luxury akumal , quiet nights but also no too for from things,
Sian Kaan ( where we’ve stayed about 10 times) also has access to Akumal as well as all the other resorts. 🇨🇦

Minimum 30 degrees, some cloud occasionally and only a few rains storms for minutes the first couple of days. 👍great place

Yes the towels the hotel provides you can be taken anywhere and then hand them in at the end of the day.
why empty out fridge? What would you do with all the stuff?

We are going next week (Feb 24-March 3,2021) so 7 nights and it cost us just at 2k wo flights. I used credit card points for our flights.
