This video was perfect! This whole time I've been telling my husband I wanted to start knitting and I actually want to start crocheting. Thank you for explaining the difference!

I love both crafts but knitting is my passion. I find I love crocheting for making afghans. I make a lot of wearables so I do knit more. Thanks for this video

I love using both crafts for all sorts of projects! Crochet afghans definitely work up much faster than knit blankets, and knitting makes a fabric I love wearing in sweaters and accessories.
I'm glad this video was helpful!

I crochet (super basic blankets, like double crochet or less) but I was thinking of learning knitting to do the Harry Potter Sweater

Does crochet use more yarn the knitting?

Good question! The short answer is yes: crochet uses more yarn than knitting when you make a similar fabric. Hope that helps!
