I think you’re one of the few reactors who actually appreciate the composition of their choreography. I highly recommend Thanks dance practice. It’s one of my personal favourites, in terms of composition.
The dance moves itself aren’t as complex as compared to what they’ve done before BUT the choreography as a whole is really beautiful.
I feel like a lot of people think the harder the dance moves are, the better the choreography :/ they don’t talk about levels etc., all the other details. So I am Glad there are reactors like you who can appreciate those details ☺️

They're portraying how we usually open our home's door in the chorus, Hoshi is so creative. He brings the feel of being in home to us by his choreo😂
May I please share some very useful information about these 13 super talented guys that I adore so much? They debuted in May 2015 and they have been writing and composing their own songs since their trainee period, as well as choreograph most of their dance routines. And yes, they are the king of synchronization in kpop, no other group does it better than Seventeen (I am not being biased here). Hoshi is a genius choreographer and he is very creative. Woozi is the main writer and composer in Seventeen, and yeah he is the shortest but super duper talented in music. They won Best Performance for Male Group in MAMA twice in a row, as well as winning any other prestigious awards. If you have followed them since their debut era, you could see how much they have matured, not only in terms of the sense of their music, but also the lyrics that they write really reflect who they are. Hoshi always create the choreo based on the lyrics, that's why the dance routines are always so enjoyable to watch. Now, the maknae Dino has started to help with the choreo too, and he even made a wonderful choreo for Seventeen's song called Flower all by himself. We stan talent and they just made it so easy to become a Carat (Seventeen's official fandom). While other groups are giving their 200%, Seventeen gives three or four times more because they never stop working to produce their music and creating their own performances all by themselves.
I love that in the chorus part, their hands form a roof and then after they do a movement that looks like they're opening a door and stepping through. Gorgeous.
One of the amazing things about seventeen's choreo is that with 13 members still at certain moment a member get to be the focus while the whole dancing is still going on. I don't know much about dances but they do the things like 'suddenly one member come out of nowhere' or 'suddenly one member become the center' are seamless to me.

The composer/producer is the short guy, and the choreographer is the one who dances center at the first split up.
The times that one of them stops, and does other movement, means he's the one who is singing. that technique helps them to stabilize their voice. It results into a amazing performance which is not only appealing to the eyes, but also to the ears, and heart because you can empathize from the emotions that they want to deliver.
Hey!! I know this is two months late but Seventeen actually choreograph their dances themselves! Their performance team (the members that have had extensive dance training [Jun, Hoshi, Minghao, and Chan]) do the choreography themselves! Another reason why they’re literally kings

Seventeen has different units (Vocal, Hip Hop, And Performance) The Performance unit Choreograph the all their dances. The Vocal unit (Specially the short guy Woozi) produce their songs and the Hip Hop unit write some of the lyrics along with the vocal unit.
One of the members,hoshi, is the choreographer. The short dude,woozi, is the producer of their songs. You should react to don’t wanna cry. They won an award for that. Also THANKS has amazing choreography.

I loved this! I liked the song/MV okay before, but seeing the full choreography for it actually made me *love* the song. Ya know that BTS is my favorite, but even I can't deny how good Seventeen is with choreo. They are impressive, and even more so given the size of the group. Thanks for sharing!

Dino also participated in choreographing Home and Good to Me!! Hoshi and Dino choreographed it with Choi Young-joon (and he's not from LOOK, the crew Hoshi usually collabs with). Hoshi and the LOOK crew are the choreographers of Getting Closer. All infos are from the album credit BTW
Hoshi once said that Home Choreography is the easy one. 😌

I recommend you first see the guides so you can recognize the members and get info about the group. The best guide would be the Extremely Detailed Guide of each Units: HipHop, Vocal and Performance Unit. Its a 30mins long video of each unit.
For dance practices I recommend the Crazy In Love, Higlight (13members), Don't Wanna Cry, Clap, Thanks, Call! Call! Call!, Oh My, Getting Closer and also Good To Me live stage at MCountdown.

First, let me say, "I love your shirt". Next, thank you for reacting to this dance practice. Seventeen has the best choreo, in my opinion. There are a lot of excellent dancers in Kpop but as a whole, they are very intricate and together in timing and execution. They have a dance practice for their song "Good to Me" which doesn't have an MV but it's my favorite song from them right now. I would like to see your reaction to my favorite group, B.A.P. (Best Absolute Perfect) There is a long story behind them but they have some great songs. Here are some suggestions: Debut song: "WARRIOR", Most Popular Song: "ONE SHOT", Chill/Jazzy: "COFFEE SHOP", Dance Club: "HURRICANE", Funky: "FEEL SO GOOD".
