Thanks. Now to break out the pomegranate that I just bought.
I got three trees 🌲

Same here!!
And how you eat it ?! Where are the seeds ? Mine have Garda seeds inside cannot chew it like that
Just peeled a pomegranate for the first time thanks to you!!!!! Absolutely delicious and enjoying it on a Friday night :)
Yay!! SO glad!!!
I was skeptical. However, I can attest that it was easy! I’ve only de-seeded a pomegranate a few times in my life but I remember it being more difficult. This method has my seal of approval!
Yay!! So glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching ♥️
.....I've...been discarding the inner seed of each little pomegranate berry ...like it's a cherry pit..my entire life....I AM A CHANGED WOMAN! THANK YOU IT WOULD LITERALLY TAKE HOURS TO EAT
So glad it was helpful! ♥️
The seed is where a lot of the nutrients come from. And lots of fibre, too. I like my pomegranates with a bowl of Cheerios.
I have learned. A great pleasure.
Thank you 😂
I was once told that the seeds may cause appendicitis
Brilliant. Easy to follow instructions. I never knew about the six ridges. You've made my life with pomegranates much easier. Thank you for sharing this info with all of us.
You’re so welcome! Thanks for watching!
Wow thanks for the tutorial! I've avoided buying pomegranates because I thought they were too difficult to open, you proved me wrong, thanks for sharing this :)
You’re so welcome! Thanks for watching!
If I hadn’t watched this, I would never have known to use a spoon to eat the seeds. What amazing times we live in. 😂
Bahahah!! Perfect!! Hope it helped ;-)

It really did work. The bowl with water is a great idea. 🙏🏾
Never known to use a spoon?????? I'm almost positive this is satire how else would you eat them chop sticks?
@@bradleyw1753
I was jesting.
i've just been shoving the seeds in my mouth with my hands. The spoon is definitely a game changer. No more washing hands in between each bite!
Nice! I like this bc it's straight to the point and easy! Also, good job on just straight up ripping the pomegranate in half lol I could never
Great video! Easy guidelines to follow💗 Thanks for sharing! I love learning new and easy tricks in the kitchen
You’re so welcome! Thanks for watching!

So glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching 🤗
Jacques Pepin tip: easy way to get seeds out once sections in water. Hold section with seeds in palm and skin side up. Tap skin side several times with the back of a spoon and seeds will fall out into bowl. Much easier than picking them out.
Sounds like another great method!
Thank you kindly for being to the point and sensible!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for this!! Pomegranates are so good
Short and sweet. Thank you!
Thanks! I just cut my first pomegranate. Easier than I thought!
Great! So glad it worked for you!
Thank you for making it simple.
You are welcome!
Thanks! This really helps college students like me
So glad it was helpful!
Collegen
He makes it look easier than what it actually is.
Thank you so much for this video!!
Now I can enjoy this fruit!!!
Yay!! So glad it was helpful! You’re so welcome 😉
I always like to eat them slowly one at a time and pick each one out individually and examine the pomegranate as I go because it looks so neat. Sometimes I'll open a huge hunk and bite several out at a time and it reminds me of some fruity corn when I do that. Haha. But next time I'm going to pick them all out and put them in a bowl and take a big spoonful because of you. I love how juicy they are.
Working method! Thank You!
Worked perfectly!! Thank you for the concise instructions!
You're welcome!
So Much Simpler Than Cut'n Off The Top Or Wide Half-Way😋 It's Funny I Found These Fresh Pomegranates In Marked Down Produce @Grocery 4/$.99 - Processed Pomegranates Are Expensive In The Lil' Cups (I Invisioned Alot Of Work Prepar'n Them😳)...But, Ur Video Was The 1st To Come Up So I Brought Them Home...Many THANKS For Put'n My Fears @Ease😋😋😋😋😋

This video was so helpful and I really wanted to make some pomegranate jam but didn’t want to screw anything up 😊😂
So glad it was helpful!! Pomegranate jam sounds delicious!
Thank you for your video. First time eating pomergranates seeds and they're delicious. Ive known it mentioned in the Bible so it does look like a bomb granate. Anyways, I needed to know how to eat it because It is my first time buying one and wanted to try it. Blessings to yoy and your family.
I just have to say this again this is one of the best fruits I have ever eaten in my life and they are 2 for 5 dollars in Manhattan at fruit stands not only that I'm prediabetic and my body reacts to sugar as if I'm a advanced diabetic even some fruits get to me but not this one and as a matter of fact the NIH national institute of health states that this actually helps bring down blood sugar due to its powerful antioxidants and other properties it's also used in the nutritional formulas of a brand called life extension and they only use things that actually have science and research behind it I know it's not best for anyone to over do fruit juice which I don't buy but I recently read that this fruit juice is very helpful for diabetics but don't go overboard so ill be buying the juice but not from concentrate I read all this information on pomegranate for years but yet just bought some two weeks ago and got addicted love eating them in bed while watching videos man that juice is so juicy from the seeds and a very special deliciousness this is a special fruit it really stands out
Yay!! So glad you found a delicious fruit that helps you stay heathy! Always a win ♥️

Great video :D I love POMEGRANATES
As a kid my cousin ate these a lot. Bought one recently. This video is helpful. There is no way you can eat a spoonful without getting a ton of seedlings that are awful 😂
The seeds are crunchy but definitely edible! So glad you found the video to be helpful! Thanks for watching!

Awesome thanks a bunch 😀
You’re so welcome!! Hope it helps!

The pomegranate looks so good! I want to buy one but they don’t even sell it at my local supermarket!
Maybe try a speciality super market or a health food store!
@@mamanatural Alright! Thanks for the tip!
The video was so cute😘😘
Why thanks 😊
Thanks!
You’re welcome ☺️
gonna have my first pomegranate tomorrow.
Perfect!! Hope you LOVE it!
I was skeptical but thats genius
It IS isn't it?!
Sadly my trees are babies still and when we went to the inlaws in Cali their pom trees were in picking season yet but got a bag from friends here in az and a lot were already cracked naturally but still was able to make cuts and open easy
Pomegranates are so fun!! And tasty! 😍
Thanks, now I shall go and eat the pomegranate I bought that I didn't know how to eat till now😅
Perfect!! Hope you LOVE them!
I want to try these so badly, they look delicious.
You should! They are!
Very helpful thanks
You're so welcome!
Great way to get seeds out! But! I like to save the juice.
Cool!
🤩🤩🤩
Good concise video
Glad it was helpful!
Even easier way--
Cut just the top off, then you can see the sections. Section it by cutting down. The rest is the same as shown here (use the bowl to collect the pulp). Have a bowl under the fruit when you cut the top, to catch any juice that escapes.
This could be a great way as well! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks a lot
It worked!!!
Yay!!!
Thank you so much. 👍👏
You're so welcome! Thanks for watching!
Once you get the seeds, how long will you be able to put in the fridge?
Thank you! I've been just squeezing the juice out of them for years just to avoid the tough pain in butt peeling 😁😁
Hopefully this method is MUCH easier for you!
Thanks for sharing stay safe stay bless stay connected 👌 🙏
You’re so welcome!!!!
Im ten years old and have never tried one of these.
Not gonna lie. I was a little disappointed this wasn’t Mirandas husband Steve from SATC showing me how to open a pomegranate. Good instructions anyway. Thanks!
😬😬😬
Glad it was helpful anyway!!
I am new here!! How to eat them? Do you eat them whole with the seeds or spit the seeds out??
Thanks man
You’re very welcome ☺️
I like to add strange exotic fruit to my syrup kettle I even leave peelings on and boil till syrupy. Pancakes fruity syrup apple sauce
That’s a great idea!
Good video
Thank you!!
I was nervous to try it after watching how it seems like you were swallowing it down,, but it was delicious!! And very easy using your method!! Lol I tried some of the white stuff 😂
Great to hear!
Legend thanks, 😊
Never eat the seeds or else you'll end up with pomegranates growing inside you. It's a joke lol. Thanks for this I never knew about the 6 ridges. 👍
😅😅😅
So glad you learned something new!
Heck, I never knew about eating the seeds¿☆¡!
@@SuperAmin1950 me too
Nice pomagranite
Do you eat the seeds or just the flesh wrapped around the seeds itself?
So just the arils are eaten.
What about the pulp?
You can eat the pulp!
Interesting but I prefer just cutting it open in half because I do not want the delicious juice to mix in with the water.
That’s also a valid way to open them!
Never eaten a pomegranate before, can you not eat it like day an apple? Is the outside meant to be discarded like say a watermelon? Great video.
Yes, you should only eat the seeds inside.
Will the water not take some.of the nutrients out of the fruit? Also nost of the juice?
That's what I thought.
👍🏻 12-23-2023…… but I don’t eat those seeds. And this fruit is good antioxidant and helps the immune system. Louisiana 🇺🇸 Merry Christmas 🎅🏻🧑🏻🎄❣️✝️
Thank you very much for this I just Googled this I'm in Publix shopping and buying my first pong Grant
Hope this trick worked and you LOVED it!
thanks
You’re welcome ☺️
About eating a pomegranate... do you swallow the seeds?
I’m wearing a CGM am prediabetes and eating a pomegranate right now & in under 20 minutes my alarms were going off & glucose spiked insanely …so much for being good for diabetics… I say everyone is different I guess… may not be for everyone
I'm glad I watched this before opening my fruit. :)
Glad it was helpful!
I love pomegranate juice, but not so keen on the seeds. I tried Chobani's pomegranate yogurt with seeds on the bottom. To me, the seeds taste bitter. Am I missing something here? 🤔
It’s definitely a matter of preference and taste! The seeds can be bitter but I know lots of people who love that combined with the tart sweetness of the pulp.
If you cut off the top first, then you can spread the pommegranate much easier and simply knoch the seeds out.
I’ll have to try this!!
After cutting off the top and scoring your notches , spread open and turn it over. Take a wooden spoon and tap the back of each section and the seeds fall into the bowl.
I just been buying them haven't had them since a child and it's one of the most delicious juicy satisfying fruit I ever ate God sure made this delicious
Yes!! They are amazing!
Neat🥰
My first time eating pomegranate seeds. Should you swallow the seeds after chewing it?
Yep!
@@mamanatural thank you 😊
Do i eat the pomegranate seed whole or spit them out?
you can eat the whole seed
u can eat the whole seed, but i spit the hard part out cause i dont like the taste
You can eat the whole seed but it's crunchy so some people just suck the pulp off of them!
