Like actually though, I don't know what they're thinking it’s literally called the Phantom so it might as well look the part otherwise it would not make any sense lol.
Lots of people are saying it looks too much like the Pro, which I do mostly agree. The best and easiest way the Phantom should distinguish itself is an all black finish.
Make it all black! Maybe in matte black or satin black finishes, it would look brilliant, and stand out alot in daytime. And at night the lighting would be the star of the show
Everytime a new video drops my FOMO kicks in even more 😫 😂Hook brother up Eloi 🙏 . You have a hit on your hands. Looking forward to the official release.
I'm worried about dust/dirt/mud getting into the lock latch button mechanism on the deck, some silicone cover over the button would be preferred. For example, the folding latch gets stiff/stuck and hard to pull up on my City Pro 2023 (different mechanism, but still valid consideration). Black top module preferred. Still not a fan of the hook latch sticking out towards the rider, at the top of the handle bars. That is just a safety hazard waiting for someone to end up being pushed against it or grinding on it for whatever reason, and having some nasty injury. Take a page from NIU design in this regard, particularly the KQi Air, or KQI3 Max/300, where they make a latch as unobtrusive as possible, using a solid metal loop built into the stem with no moving parts (KQI3/300), or it is flush with the stem (Air). I've hat my latch on my City Pro 2023 break off, and that sat in a recessed pocket in the stem. Looking forward to seeing what solution you have for the handlebar lights. From the 3D model of the Phantom 2.0, it looks similar to what NIU has on their newer models, and which I recommend as well. The current cap-style breaks too easy, and you guys are always late or low in stock with replacements.
I would love Apollo so much more if you guys used a bar and wiring system that allowed for more personal placement of the throttle/brake, etc. I like this design as it's closer to the Pro model. Very nice! I point out a few other frustrations about the design but I see so much potential. Hopefully something can be done to make the drum brakes easier to pull but it's annoying when the levers can't even be positioned in a way that is comfortable or practical. Beautiful looking scooter. Nice to see something like the Apollo Pro with a real spring on both sides instead of a rubber.
First time scooter buyer here. I have been researching incessantly and am poised to possibly order the Phantom, depending on where the price point and lead time come in. It's the cleanest design out there and aesthetics mean more to me that flying at 70 mph on a death wish (have no qualms about buying the Pro, it's just way more than I need and the Go is too low of a weight rating for my liking). Some thoughts on the Phantom 2.0 design from my initial research along with a company red flag: Love the side lights, very bummed about no colored light options though. I'd rather have a slightly dimmer white if that's the reasoning. The handlebar blinkers are great but WAYYYY too fragile for that part of the scooter. I realize you get 2 extras with it and you can pay $20 for 2 smal plastic replacements but a better design would fix this. You should easily be able to find a much more durable poly carbonate option out there. IMO, the term Phantom conveys darkness. I'd love to see a mock up of this in all black. Not mad at the gray but it's just not "Phantom-y". I don't see any easy/effective place on here for locking this unit up. That may be a yuge miss! Would love to see scooter manufacturers add a couple/few braze ons to the stem like a bike has for a small bottle holder or glove-box case. Relatively inexpensive add, huge impact. And space them in a proprietary fashion and you can sell exclusive high margin bottle cages and accessories to fit these openings. I see grumblings of subscription based services like Apple find my and the Ludo mode. No. You are demanding a premium price for a lower spec'd unit than the competition for the same price. Your buyer is OK paying a premium for the design, but not the nickel dim-ing, I believe. Some sort of a special screw to secure in an air tag securely would be sufficient. I like the drum brakes TBH. But only in conjunction with and because of your amazing regen brakes. Kudos. The orange springs are just a bit off for me, personally. Not very "Phantom-y" (you can steal my word, ha!). I'd think if you're going to accent, a darker color like purple or midnight blue would be a bit more subtle. Or if keeping the grey, match the spring color to offset against the black undercarriage. I think removing the tiny speaker was wise as it was relatively ineffective. Another option would be to have a powered output with wired or Bluetooth connections for an accessory speaker(s) that are larger and mount on the handlebars, deck fin, or even the braze on's I suggested. Make it proprietary and you have another high margin opportunity. Thank you for having 2 different versions. Not everyone wants the highest end version. Wise move! Horn - You gotta get a 2 tone horn. One subtle and quiet, one LOUD AF. This just makes sense on a machine like this. Check our how nice courtesy horns are! ruclips.net/video/3ImrOvm3pnA/видео.html Needs wireless phone charging. The tech is cheap now. Should be included on all premium products. The side deck lights should blink with the blinker. This is easy programing and makes so much sense. It would require a collaboration, but yet another upgrade/accessory add on idea: I wish a scooter manufacturer would partner with a helmet manufacturer that offers light up helmets and they could sync via Bluetooth to get the scooters brake and turn indicators to also appear on the helmet. Apollo has done an excellent job at front and side visibility but the biggest vulnerability of a scooter-ist, aside from doing dumb sh*t, is the view from behind. Think 1986 high tail lamp requirements for cars. Get that light up high and what better place than on a helmet! I love this brand: www.giro.com/p/ethos-mips-urban-bike-helmet/100000001800000038.html One more accessory idea would be to offer different deck mat customization. Not sure of your unit sales numbers or the MOQ on something like this, but it would be awesome to be able to customize with OEM quality. Licensing deals with Marvel/Disney could create some really interesting options! Darth Vader, Batman, etc. Likely too small of a market but it would be cool. Probably more of an Etsy thing though. But you could partner with an Etsy creator to offer this kind of stuff. The only other thing is the cable management. I know this is impossible but this scooter would be a MOMA level art piece if there was some way to hid the damn brake cables. Pipe dream, I know! You'd think a hydraulic setup with a 90 would be able to accomplish this somehow. It'd the only design aspect I really hate. You did an exceptional job of cable management though! Now, my biggest apprehensions on buying from Apollo: Apollo seems to get a lot of hate out there. I can see right through a lot of it and liken it to how people that can't afford the complete Apple environment experience trash Apple by saying it's junk. HOWEVER, there are a ton of apparently legitimate complaints out there about poor coverage for warranty/design issues, poor customer communication, etc. BBB is really bad. Reddit is even worse. I do appreciate how the company does monitor these and responds but it shouldn't take screaming on the internet to get the warranty coverage promised. Just an observation. My biggest potential hard pass on Apollo overall, in correlation to the above, is the very dishonest practice of stating XXX # of 5 star reviews on their website with ZERO actual reviews to read on most of their models: As of 09.29.24: Air - Claims 158 x 5* reviews - NONE PRESENT Go - Claims 88 x 5* reviews - NONE PRESENT City - Claims 684 x 5* reviews - Plenty to read, but they are not all 5* reviews like claimed at the landing page. Phantom - Claims 719 x 5* reviews - NONE PRESENT Pro - Claims 78 x 5* reviews - NONE PRESENT I am sure this would likely be blamed on the website designer but any product that claims 5 stars and picks the best reviews OR they aren't actually 5 stars is sketchy. When they don't even list the reviews when you click on them, it's an even bigger and fatal flaw in the companies marketing department. Not to mention the very low ethics of this practice. THANKFULLY, I was able to see actual customer reviews for Apollo products on the Best Buy website (along with the City on the Apollo site but I have zero interest in that model). I am hopeful for a decent mix of price point, lead time, range, and weight and I will be ordering one. If they strike the mix right, I'll likely purchase one but on a major CC due to the above company concerns (Major CC companies offer buyer protections, up to and including charge backs in worst case scenarios). Let's go Apollo! You got this! I am excited to see this unit in production. Hoping to be cruising the waterfront on this baby by spring if it all works out! Maybe I will give reviewing stuff on YT a try. If there was a product to do it with, this is the one! Thanks so much!
Eloi Great job 👏! Please offer ala carte the wireless charging option available on the pro. A scooter that has well over 2 hours of potential ride time needs that! I am also team black on headset face plate. Something that needs to be added on the pro and to the phantom 2.0 is a dedicated brake rear brake light. What do i mean by this? In a car every single car has multiple dedicated brake only lights that flash when braking. This is independent of the turn signals for a reason. The scooters in their current configuration are only capable of illuminating for signaling OR flashing for braking with the rear light. But have no fear! I dont identify a problem without a potential solution. If you make the part of the tail of the deck about an inch thicker vertically you fit another small strip of led lights (covered by an independent defuser) that will always flash red even when the turn signal is activated. For a scooter that is capable of going well in excess of 30 mph nearly every turn will require a simultaneous braking action. The other vehicles on the road need to be able to tell that the scooter is not only turning but slowing down aswell! Your welcome ahead of time. Unless you have already addressed this with the phantom and you just didnt mention it in this video. 😅 keep it up!
Crap the brake light thing sounds simple but your right! No wonder why cars feel like they get so close to me when I'm turning and braking. They have no idea I'm slowing down!!!
We just love your company! We have three Apollo Go 2024 's in our family. Your tutorials on your Channel saved me a lot of headache. I can change tires easily. I took the handlebar apart and did a repair all step-by-step in the tutorial. Now we want this scooter!😂
I’m pretty sure I saw this out in the wild yesterday and it looks phenomenal. And I got way more excited when I saw this in comparison to the Pro just a month or so prior. I’m in the Bay Area.
Definitely keep the upper clamp in grey. Looks much better, what you should do is change the shape of it in my opinion. Try to make that box on top through which the nice and wide handlebars are clamped more aerodynamic.😊 Maybe design a a bit smaller and thinner shape box with a bit more smooth/curved lines and shape. Just make it some type of slick aesthetically more pleasing shape of top clamp box. I would definitely prefer that and it would also completely differentiate this new Phantom 2.0 from the Pro model. However I love this scooter you’re designing superior scooters from all others on the market. I am going to wait for the release of this gorgeous Phantom and buy it hopefully if it won’t be too expensive 😊😊😅❤
Include fast charger for stellar version? Different handlebar signal or include a few extra covers for the handlebar light. Definitely a blacked out phantom would look good with maybe a few orange or grey apollo logos
Annoying how nice some things are with certain scooters which also have something so upsetting. I feel a similar way about Apollo, unfortunately. Like the total lack of adjustability for positioning the levers and so on.
Is the Steering Dampener really necessary? I go 70km/hour on my Beta Pro with no issues. Secondly; I use my little bell on the Pro all the time. However, if I am riding toward a large group, I use the speaker bell as an early warning. Better in traffic as well. Any considerations for a louder bell/horn backup? Thirdly; 180' visible turn signals on the handlebars is a must. Please make it work and do not cover up the side view as seen on one of the videos. I will be ordering the Stellar as soon as available. Ps. I can live without the wireless phone charging. Have the Apollo Light and love it. Day and night. Cheers E and all. Dr GB
Will be pre ordering and think the gray goes more with the brand theme and seems more premium to match the stem and board theme. The black handlebars offer contrast above while the fenders and wheels are the contrast down low. A horn would be ideal for safety at this level. It would be great if the park mode could be activated by holding power button or something as opposed to only through app. Was hoping handle bar signals were better incased to avoid having to replace them when it tips over. Hoping the stellar version includes a fast charger.
What id love to see is to have the option to only enter ludo mode when unlocked via NFC otherwise only have the standart modes available. The intention is if you ever get stopped by "someone" you just turn off/on the scooter so you are back in a "normal mode" and when they test your scooter for max speed it will pass their test.
Hey! You currently can do that! You can setup the speed of all the gears to 20k/hrs, and leave the ludo mode unlocked! Requires 3 click on the power button
@@eloipecquet Thanks eloi but imo thats not "hidden" enough our authorities know of certain button combinations which enable higher speed modes for segways/xiaomi scooters. Would be cool to have actually the ability to lock the ludo mode behind the nfc or let us create a custom button combination to get there. I know this request would most likely only help out 1% of your customers but those would realy appreciate it
Eloi, crossing my fingers, and putting my vote in yet again for black please….. black on black on black. Steering damper, black. Springs, black. Headset cover, black. Kickstand, black. If you guys can’t ultimately offer a blackout version, first thing I’m doing is powder coating all of these orange parts, so that they are monochromatic. Also, towards the end of the video, was the steering damper loose or something because it seems like it is encroaching on the space where your feet would be on the deck. I don’t wanna try to readjust my feet and accidentally kick the damper somehow.
Great looking scooter. We didn't get a good angle of the grey top plate but from what I can see, i prefer it to the black. Gonna pre-order if the price is right!
Please go all black! The picture in the email I received would be perfect!

Nice ugprades from the v1! I'm still beleiving split rim wheels would be awesome for tire replacement, but I guess it's a hard thing to do with tubeless unfortunately...
Still debating between this and the Nami Klima Max. A few changes that would make this a better option would be an all black look to fit the name “phantom” and electric horn. Have the city 24 right now and looking for faster scooter replacement to keep up with traffic.
This might be my first scooter I’ve been debating for the last 2-3 years which one I wanted looking at wolf king GTR, roadrunner RS5 Pro, roadrunner RX7 and some other ones I mainly wanted one with a removable battery but I might make an exception for this 2.0 it looks nice and clean
Please give the option to buy the gray or black scooter for the people who want it. I really want to preorder this model but I don’t want a black scooter. I want the gray color, Please!!!!🙏🏻
As an Apollo Pro owner, the rear fender is a bit too long. I've had mine crack because of doors closing behind me taking it out. Before it was too short. Needs to be long enough to cover the wheel but not long enough that it's the first thing that gets hit by a door. Trust a rubber tire to take minor bumps than brittle plastic. Surprised the side lights directionals aren't there as it was a baseline feature for the Pro. I do not enjoy having to take my thumb off the throttle of the Pro handle bar setup to put on right directional, but it's not end of the world. Turning the scooter off (holding power button) is a bit of a struggle that will likely get worse over time. I have to hold down the power button in a very certain spot to manually deactivate. Otherwise im just turning the headlight on and off. Would like to see some customizable RGB lighting effects via the App. The App needs a background power saving mode. It just kills phone batteries if you don't log out/ close program.
I've been on a City pro since Nov. 2023. From all my riding I would just say thay the tire diameter and width and the bracing capacity of the suspension are more important to me than top speed.
I would really like to see the whole side turn yellow like on the Pro. Makes it really obvious that you’re turning at night. Also I thought there were going to be mechanical disc brakes and then hydraulics on the stellar edition?
Please make those turn signals non-sequential; they look laggy, and make it light up around the scooter, then separate the brake light and turn signal lights so that it will not confuse the other motorist on the road when braking while using turn signal lights at the same moment. It gives more visibility and increases safety on the road.
I ordered a Pro from Bestbuy, for FOMO because Apollo does not ship to Anchorage Alaska. I am pretty sure I'll purchase a Phantom 2.0 Stellar if Bestbuy ships it to Anchorage.
Are the handlebars going to be standard 31.8mm and replaceable if the rider wants a different rise to the bars to have them taller or shorter? As for that top plate defiantly black. I would also love a throwback or option to get a straight up all black that is one of the striking things making the current phantom look so good.
I would love a replaceable handlebar but I am used to Apollo having that internally wired option so the bars are not replaceable. Looks like this is the case with this one as well if you notice the throttle wiring is not to be seen.
@ZeroLoveScooters I see, I noticed the handlebar looks like it has a front plate, which made me wonder if replacement was an option, but yea, internal cables mean probably not unless modifying. Unfortunate as a phantom I rode was cool (friend has the old 60v one) the bars were a little short for me. Wanted a few inches taller, and a nice swept up bar would fix that.
please change the locking mechanism that sticks out on the stem right behind the head light. my kids like to go on rides with me and that locking mechanism sticks out so far that they keep hitting there heads on it... i have a phantom v2. if that mechanism is folded flat into the stem that would make it look better and be more safe.
@@berengerchristy6256 great to hear, how about the Hiplok D1000? Do you think that could fit as well? Internal locking dimensions: 155mm x 92mm (L x W) External dimensions: 230mm x 155mm x 40mm (L x W)
To be frank, I rely on my disc brakes only about 5% of the time while riding, as the electronic braking system is typically sufficient for most braking needs. Increasing the investment in brake components would likely drive up the price of the Phantom 2.0, which could deter potential buyers. The option to upgrade to hydraulic brakes should be left to the consumer's discretion, especially since many users find the cable brakes on the V4 perfectly adequate.
If you want a scooter with 150-200 KM range, just get a electric moped. You need massive batteries to go that far and the Apollo scooters are trying to emphasize portability as much as power.
Sure, any of these companies can promise 200km range. As long as you are riding at 12km/h, downhill, with a backdraft, and you had beans last night for dinner, etc
With all of the tech you added to the scooter, one would think you'd engineer something something a little better than the mono-toned "beep-beep-beep". Hows about a something a bit more futuristic for tones? C'mon guys....this isn't rocket science. You're settling for a "beep"?\
Black is definitely better for the entire phantom
Yes please all black
Like actually though, I don't know what they're thinking it’s literally called the Phantom so it might as well look the part otherwise it would not make any sense lol.
I really like the side lights, I ride to work and a lot of the time it still dark outside.
I will be preordering this scooter. I almost ordered the nami klima until i seen the new phantom. All black with orange logos would look really good.

I would like the quad lock low enough with phone able to be sideways to completely clear the nice DOT display while using app and map
I know you mentioned making app work sideways
Hey! Landscape view will be release in 2 weeks!
Nice
Dr GB
As cool as the phantom is looking, I'm more excited for your next Pro. That's ideally what I'll be getting in 2 years time.
I would live to see mount option for garmin varia radar, and app connectivity would also be great❤
Not gonna lie I’m kinda pissed I bought. The pro a few months ago considering the 60v phantom 2 is superior. Keep up the amazing work
Sometimes I need that light to point down so that will help.
The intention is if you ever get stopped by "someone" you just turn off/on the scooter so you are back in a "normal mode" and when they test your scooter for max speed it will pass their test.
will def get one when a feature like this gets implemented
I know this request would most likely only help out 1% of your customers but those would realy appreciate it
The black is def nicer. but having the gray isn't a deal breaker either.
Give us the option to change the colour to, however we like - some people like all black, some people like that gunmetal grey 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
All black. Get rid of outdated ring bell with a electronic bell
Looking good Eloi, couple of suggestions for V3 I'll put forth in a PM. Like where this model is heading
Great looking scooter. We didn't get a good angle of the grey top plate but from what I can see, i prefer it to the black. Gonna pre-order if the price is right!
Add some automatic camera recording whenever you press the horn
Does this have a horn? Very cool options. I’ve the options on black or silver.
Hopefully the grips can be changed. I have large hands and always found the MTB style grips from the original Phantom to be the best feeling for me.
Please add an option to modify the colors of the lights.
It just kills phone batteries if you don't log out/ close program.
looks like an amaing scooter. Happy to do a review for australian audiences for a unit?
I've been on a City pro since Nov. 2023. From all my riding I would just say thay the tire diameter and width and the bracing capacity of the suspension are more important to me than top speed.
Its almost perfect but it needs an attachment to widen the deck or new design. Right now it could be nearly 2 inches wider with the same footprint
I love the pro, waiting for that mach 3
Is Eloi gonna be on pre-order too? 😜❤🔥
I would really like to see the whole side turn yellow like on the Pro. Makes it really obvious that you’re turning at night. Also I thought there were going to be mechanical disc brakes and then hydraulics on the stellar edition?
Keep it black, never go wrong with black
Please make those turn signals non-sequential; they look laggy, and make it light up around the scooter, then separate the brake light and turn signal lights so that it will not confuse the other motorist on the road when braking while using turn signal lights at the same moment. It gives more visibility and increases safety on the road.
The whole scooter should be black
What happened to the “Advanced Hydraulic 4-Piston Brakes for superior stopping power”?
Will be there on the final stellar version
Does PMT make tires that will fit this scooter?
Make the Phantom black to differentiate it with other model, otherwise they all look the same
Apollo I have a big question, is it possible to buy spare parts such as the tire, motor stem, handle bar, and battery and put it on a Phantom V3 52V?
I would like to see the quick swappable battery feature added to the phantom
Shouldn’t the turn signal be going front to back? Rather than back to front?
Can you make the wrap around and stem light change colors like the Apollo pro please ! ✌️
Does the range estimation change show when changing ride modes?
Phantom should be black!
The steering damper is the best upgrade.
Why do you advertise disc brakes on the website and drum brakes in the video? Which is it?
Are there all terrain tires that fit this scooter?
Yes absolutely! We will offer street and off road tires
I would like to see some type of mechanism where one can lock the scooter to a bike rack.
I’m able to fit a kryptonite u lock through the front suspension onto bike racks on my Pro, don’t see why it wouldn’t be the same here
@@berengerchristy6256 great to hear, how about the Hiplok D1000? Do you think that could fit as well?
Internal locking dimensions: 155mm x 92mm (L x W)
External dimensions: 230mm x 155mm x 40mm (L x W)
Black
Do a Apollo pro vs phantom v2
Since it has a 360 degree lights for visibility on the road, why not have it on black finish.
Dual charge ports?
Black :)
Maybe the side lights will be too bright as to blind other drivers and have them crash into you. Or just too distracting for motorist.
having the lights only stay white is meh. customizable lights would be nice like the pro.
Better add hydraulic brake... Maybe magura or nutt
What’s the price mane
split rim tubeless and we seal the deal.
The reason I wanted to buy the Phantom 2.0 Stellar was to be able to modify the colored lights like on the Pro, I think I'll go for another brand.
I've been riding my Beta Pro for over a year. The ability to change the light colours is a nice trick. But I never use it.
@@drgb6800 I use mine, but nothing crazy. If it had RGB lighting like a PC... that'd be something else!
All black indeed
I pre ordered the go and I have nothing but problems. I really want to get this but I think I lost faith.
It’s a literal goddam pro 🤦
-the whole scooter should be black
-add secondary stem battery to power the electronics
-should have at least 150-200kms of range
nah that kind of range is wishful thinking
If you want a scooter with 150-200 KM range, just get a electric moped. You need massive batteries to go that far and the Apollo scooters are trying to emphasize portability as much as power.
@@BlackgoldTwinduck i have that range on my dualtron x limited. It is very possible
The teverun 7260r also boasts 200km of range
Sure, any of these companies can promise 200km range. As long as you are riding at 12km/h, downhill, with a backdraft, and you had beans last night for dinner, etc
please add a horn
With all of the tech you added to the scooter, one would think you'd engineer something something a little better than the mono-toned "beep-beep-beep". Hows about a something a bit more futuristic for tones? C'mon guys....this isn't rocket science. You're settling for a "beep"?\
Cheap brakes claiming low maintenance
It will be 4piston hydraulic brake on the final units
