Lore: *(not official.)* After the events of sonic 3/and knuckles, sonic and tails were running through green hills until they found a strange portal and after some debate, they went through in. Only to find out they are in starved’s world. Sonic and tails wanted to investigate so they decided to split up. The time they arrived was taking place between Prey and Fight or Flight. Furnace saw them and informed Starved that there’s another sonic so Furnace and Starved went after sonic first. Just like in Prey, the duo planned to do the same strategy, the same way they killed their sonic but this second sonic was more focused on his surroundings. After Prey when starved finished singing, Sonic looked back and saw Furnace ahead so *Sonic quickly spin dashed into Furnace, fatally killing him later in this song.* After sonic got away, Starved tried to keep his cool but inside he was furious. This never happened in any of his timelines and he about to lose his loyal robot. Sonic eventually reunited with Tails and later they looked for a plane to fly and wanted to search the place even more and confront starved and end his madness. Furnace hasn’t given up and fights to his very end. but unfortunately for him, he uses too much energy being broken causing him to explode and perish. Starved had enough of these mobians ruining his timeline and he was so angry, *he Forgot to bring his time stones with him onto his vehicle in case anything went wrong so he would revert time.* And when Starved finally found sonic and tails, they had one final song. But one thing Starved forgot about his schedule is that his Tails is still alive. When Tails got to where Fight or Flight happened, he noticed starved wasn’t there so he got back into his plane and looked for him, after discovering the trio. Tails thought it was best to sacrifice his life to end Starved once and for all. and before anyone knew. Starved and Tails were gone. *Dead.* After these events, Sonic and Tails looked around the place one last time before they’ll go back home. *(still not official.)*
sounds pretty neat for a made up story for this song in particular, but you should watch the other songs it might have connections with it, maybe that plane tails and sonic is using rn might be good to remember it
