Thank you so much, Kathleen. I laughed out loud, and she’d a few tears watching this. It is elementary, yet crucial to be a clear channel and allow the animals to choose. I’ll be sharing this with several animal Reiki clients whose animal ambassadors memorably led the way. 🌀🐾 💞 👣
Thank you so much for this! When I first took a different Animal Reiki course I tried to practice Reiki with my animals. All of them seemed uncomfortable with it, my kitty Kevin especially. He would just leave the room. But he regularly comes and sits on my lap as I do my nightly Reiki self treatment. I always respected when they walked away and didn't try to force them in any way. Giving the examples of Yes/No/Maybe in this video were so helpful. I learned about your method through an online Reiki summit. What you said really made sense. Thank you! 💖
I find this so interesting cs I was only starting to awaken and was looking at the sunset every night. I saw colours flowing to me and sun was doing it's own thing too. My dog had been at the vet and they gave her 6months not more. Lil did they know, with medication and the love I had for her she was with me 14months because her condition changed quite rapidly and I had to make the final call. Anyway, sometimes I asked her to come lay next to me watch sunset (she was super clingy), most times she'd come and stay for few minutes and go lay down right around the corner away from sun but not further than 2m. Sometimes I felt an urge to place my hands on her aching back/hips and elbows.. I don't recall having any feelers in my palms but few times holding my crystals/rocks I picked from my walk I felt my palms go burning hot I had to drop them. Had zero interest learning/doing reiki then.. now I have few remote experiences, one where my friends dog had diarrhea and after sharing reiki with her it was gone. Anyway my point with this is that maybe the energy of the setting sun and me was too much for my dog (gsd) and it felt more comfortable to stay close but out of site just like you mentioned here..
Interesting! Yes animals are very aware of the energy all around us, even though we humans don't sense it quite as strongly :) They are great teachers!
Thank you 🌸❤️😽🐵🐢🐶

You're very welcome Amy!
Thank you. That clarified some things I read in your Reiki for Dogs book.
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful :)

So glad it was helpful! Yes as you say it's so important that we always listen and respect an animal's choice in a session :)
