- If you tip a car (probably a police car) over on its side, you can trigger a few glitches by ramming into it:
1) If Car A hits the underside of Car B at the right angle, Car B will be sent flying.
2) If Car A hits the lightbar on the roof of a police car at the right angle, Car A will be sent flying. You can use this glitch to get over the invisble walls surrounding the playing area, or even get on top of some buildings (the buildings you can get to normally and ram into are solid, the ones behind the invisible walls are not).
I activated the invincibility code to make it easier to flip the police cars over without wrecking my own car. And the reason no police cars are bothering me in this video is because once there's a certain number of police cars nearby, wrecked or not, no more police cars will spawn. There are wrecked police cars all over the place in this video.
I discovered these glitches myself, but I'm sure I'm not the first one, as these glitches are quite easy to trigger.

I somehow did this when I was a kid. I rammed a sideways cop car that was up on the wall of a building and I went flying out into the skybox. None of my friends believed me. Now, 24 years later, I finally have the proof
I was doing crazy shit in 1999 I was the glitch finder. I also used to write my own gameshark codes for it back then too. Glorious times. Oh to be 15 again...
@@BFKAnthony817sounds like we lived the same life. I was about 14-16 at the time. I’d always complete the game then spend hours upon hours finding all the glitches
if you drive further out of the map, at some point the game will crash. i experienced this in 2006 and its 100% tested

I was doing that back in 1999 when I was 15 and had more free time than I knew what to do with. I would go to school each day and discus with my friends at lunch what all cool shit you could do with it. I had the Gameshark pro which had a button on the side for real time hacking mode, so I was literally modding the game in real time writing codes for it. I loved showing my younger brother how much of a 1337 hacker I was making the felony meter change the text to say my name on screen for him in real time while the game was running. It blew his freaking mind!
I remember, one time, long ago, I was playing this game and sent a police car flying into the air. I thought it just disappeared so I went on, but then, in the top of my screen, I see this police car slowly flying by like an airplane. I never did find what was left of it, but it did solidify this game's ranking in my head as awesome.

I remember going into the sea when I crashed into a wall on survival and 3 cop cars smashed me and I flew over the wall , I was six at the time and it scared me so much when the screen glitched
This game has aged so well visually. The backgrounds look very good for the PS1.
If you've ever been to the real Miami, you will definitely feel the urge to drive into the ocean
I randomly remembered glitching in this game. Mine was different, there is a spot, (I was like 10 years old so I don't remember it at all) but I remember there is a spot where you can just drive off, you don't need to jump. And I would go there every time. Man I spent hours playing this game.
I should be ashamed of myself...
I played Driver almost entirely for the wacky glitches and free-ride, rarely for the story mode. :D
But still, Driver and Driver 2 are some of the things I grew up with...
Never forget roof-hopping cars from the funky streets of San Francisco.

I cannot believe I'm not the only one XD Those two games are truly games; you play with them. Who cares about the story anyway? XD
I remember doing this when i was a kid. On the survivor gamemode, i think in San Fran, you could drive out to a wall where the police cars would instantly crush you into the wall, and you would be sent flying up really really high, giving you more of a survival time score.

By The Way: The bridge in Miami, I mean that one on the highway, I was flying by doing that bug on the water... And I was trying to cross that bridge, like the other traffic cars... And the car was glitching under the brige (I think the ground was not properly modeled) xD

Driver 1 didn't support multiple floors. Driver 2 did. And even then, it was very bodgy. Ugly program code.
Some great glitches I have to play this game again brings back so many memories
when i was a kid, i loved do all that. I remenber in the birdge when police chase you too fast and they fallen backward. It was more fun than play the history.

I remember playing driver 2 and the system would glitch sometimes where the cars started driving under the road. Idk why but it gave me nightmares.😂
I just remember getting on the roofs and replaying the video. I finished the game once in 2003. Slid into the last garage upside down. Still counted.
I still remember this, when u hit under the car, the car u hit will fly, but if uhit the top of the car (especially cops car), u will fly XD

There's a wall you can clip through near one of the hump bridges, the business side not the houses, and no-one can get to you.

There was a certain point on the map where the wall was missing and you could glitch out the map with no effort

@Kevooi i still have this game and i play it on the ps2 console whenever i want to reminisce on the good old days. this game made me laugh so hard. i would play survival mode most of the time to see the police cars fly in the air and crash each other in san fransisco. the first time i played i remember the cops bouncing me around like a soccer ball. my face hurt from so much laughing!

OOOHHHH so THAT's how I got on top of that building when I was little.
When I was a kid I made that glitch but it was something different, it was on my cousin's psp, I think I was swimming or I fell into the water and it came out, it was great.
If you want the world's best video game glitches, Driver has them.

Driver had so many glitches, you'd think some of them were part of the game. I remember spending my boring days just flipping cars on their sides so I could launch them. Or finding a corner of the level and driving into it really fast to end up outside of the level.
Driver 2 was even worse, oh god.

I remember ramming into the wall adjacent from the rock wall at full speed , it would glitch me out of the map and I would be able to navigate with no issue or wanted level .

@petr1cech1 Yeah, I just said "probably a police car" in the description because it's more likely that a police car will end up on its side (during a chase) than any other car.
Or are you referring to the second glitch (where your own car is launched into the air)? In that case, I didn't know that. I honestly can't remember if I even tried that with another car when I made this video, but I assume I did since I specifically wrote that you had to hit the lightbar on the roof of a police car...
Towards the end was like some LSD trip kinda shit
hear is another one I don't know if you know but on the same level miami it does not matter wheather it is day or night. When you take a ride and when you first start out . go striaght as if going to lauch off the bridge that same street I think when you are off the freeway its the second light there is a bouliding on the corner and you know where the telephone polls are in that little part that looks like a pitstop area line your car with the outside corner and drive straight into to it (FR)

@PhobosRS actully for the pc once you get all the chets you can get out of the level in all stages. just activate the railroad cops and go near a wall close to water or a bulding and they launch you. but add invecibility of your done in one hit

you know there's a much easier way to get out of the map? on san fran, at the very top of the map, theirs a gap beween a wall and a building. I'm sure it was left there deliberatly lol. but all sorts of crazy shit happens in there, everything just turns white and random shit appears all over, but if you drive in there for two long the game freezes. still pretty cool though.
I remember finding that on the SF map that was the only exit i can recall for that level.
In Miami the building before the coral gables Bridge has a false wall drive into glitch zone

I used to use this glitch, when I wanted to destroy police cars. Just turn your car 45 degree at high speed by using the both hand brake and normal brake. Your car will tilt up one side and chasing car will wreck to the undernaeth of your car then fly out and completely destroyed.
I remember doing this too and was sent flying into the water.

Yes, see description. You can find the cheat code on GameFAQs.
It's not very easy to flip them over on the side. First, you should wreck the police car you want to flip over, then line it up next to a wall (like the police car in the first clip in this video for example), and then just keep ramming into it. Eventually, you should be able to flip it over. You definitely need the invincibility code to do this, though.
As for the music problem, I have no idea, sorry.

I know the graphics in DRIV3R aren't great,but compared to the Driver ones-wow.And Parallel Lines is great compared to it
do u know the trolly glitch in san francisco to me its the hardest glitch,u gotta let the trolly push u then a cop runs into u and ur car goes invisible,i kid u all not it works
