I have a 2022 Citroën Spacetourer Flair with the revised 180bhp 2.0 hdi diesel engine and I to looked at VW and Mercedes Benz before buying my Citroën and the Citroën was by far a much better vehicle. The 2.0 180bhp diesel model I have is brilliant, it pulls better than most cars and is returning on a run a modest 41.2mpg which for the size of the van and the engine I think is brilliant. Is amazingly comfortable with the leather interior and the tech the car has far surpasses VW and Mercedes of the same price level! The sat nav is brilliant and comes with free Tom Tom and live traffic for what was 3 years but has now been increased by Citroën to 5 years. The stereo system is amazing and comes with 9 speakers plus 2 subs under the front seats, and the sound is truly amazing. All in all in my honest opinion and after owning different models of Ford VW and Mercedes vans over the past 30 years the Citroën Spacetourer is a far better van than it's competitors and in the current market of family/vans is far more affordable. It's a van that drives like a fast car with the comfort of an executive car. You really can't go wrong with it...
Hi John - Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment on this video. That's great to hear your thoughts. We're well impressed with it too and feel we've made the right choice too. I often use my phone for the sat nav connected to android auto which works really well. Great video, and lovely family. I’m waiting on the business lounge xl as my new motability vehicle converted for my scooter it’s been delayed because of the parts shortage though that’s over now they say and Citroen have done a facelift on the Space tourer this year so that is taking time. But it’s great to hear you and your family are enjoying it and it’s a good vehicle. Thanks for taking the time.
Hi - Thanks for taking the time to leave a lovely comment. Glad it was helpful. I've seen a couple on the road and they look good. We're still enjoying our spacetourer and it didn't miss a trick on our recent ferry trip across to the Netherlands and Belgium 👍🏽 If you’ve not already, please do like this video, stay tuned for some more content and thanks for taking the time to contribute to the discussion on this video 🙂

A big downside of the design for me is that you can’t shift the rear seats out of the way without totally removing them… You can set the backs flat yes, great for loading a sheet of plyboard in over the seats… but when you’re out and you get a call to pick up 2 mates and their mountain bikes you’d have to go home first to dump the rear seats in the garage. Compared to things like the Nissan Elgrand, these vans are nowhere near as practical and convenient when it comes to seat configuration. You can tell it’s a van that they’ve put some extra ‘van’ style seats in rather than a vehicle that was designed as a family car.
Hi Chris - Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment on this video. I do agree with what you're saying about being able to keep the rear seats out the way in the Nissan Elgrand. That and the fact that they are great value. I had a look at the Elgrand and the Toyota import options but wasn't sure if there was going to be enough space with one rear seat up and one down. The 8 seats and van layout has worked well for us as we sometimes take our parents and kids friends out around with us. Hi - Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment on this video. I wasn't aware they had, that's frustrating. Some models don't have the electric sliding doors at all but I thought the rear access window was universal across the different trim levels. Why have citroen removed a lot of these handy features to there newer version like the electric operating slide door or the window rear opening 🤔
