This song is beautiful I do hate Sara but I don’t hate her as much as I really hate someone like Valentino this is more of a Redemption song ❤ good job .
Emily in the background: call me Emmy, em, *E* and whatever else u can think of Sir pentus: purple female? (Just a silly reference to when he called vaggie purple female as he brought in his weapon)
I find myself wondering... Is Sera horrified because she's been allowing murder, because she is seeing the potential end of her power or because she won't admit she was wrong? Cannot wait to find out.
"If I didn't know better, I'd have mistaken this sinner as one of us." It would especially eat Sera up if Pentious fits in seamlessly with winners. He was a laughable loser in Hell, but Heaven will like how pleasant and polite he is.
And they’ll love his skill with invention and machinery, heaven is shown to support the sciences and I’m sure they’d love if his talent benefited heaven
@@nathanielhellerstein5871 The weapons were mostly for picking fights. Since Heaven's supposedly free of enemies, Pentious will probably stick to fun inventions, maybe get work in a theme park.
Sera will then see how much the extermination has turned lute into an actual monster filled with blood rage hatred and the ink to seek death upon everything or anyone who question her. It will be at this point Sera will regret and see the action she has caused upon her herself and heaven.
Lute main antagonist for season 2. Now that extermination is illegal in heaven, Lute would do anything in her power to make them happen again. Probably temporarily become a corrupt head seraphim by force too...
I find it CRAZY how nobody is talking about he's also a snake too, like the symbolism. The first to be redeemed being a serpent makes me feel like the end of the show will have Lucifer redeemed because yeah 😭
Whoever wrote this song understands Sera's character better than half of the fandom. She's not a monster who enjoys extermination, nor an indifferent bitch, she knows it was a very dark choice. She gave Charlie's hotel a chance to see if redemption was possible, and now that there's real evidence, I think she'll try to help the protagonists.
I like that sera is an "antagonist", but she's not really evil. The only reason she gave the green light to the extermination is because she wanted to protect heaven. She just wants to protect her citizens Edit:OMG MOM IM FAMOUS
@@1989-Elis-Version Also, considering that in 1x03 Velvette and the other Vees have organized an all-out assault plan, it's not that Sera's fear isn't well-founded.
When faced with irrefutable evidence that they are wrong, a person will either admit it or double down due to their pride and/or ego. Which one Sera chooses will determine if she is actually evil.
I hope Sera gets a redemption arc. She seems like she has the capability of being a very complex character rather than the more flat one we've seen at her debut. I'm sure slowly, but surely, we'll understand more of where she comes from, even if her values and opinions of sinners are completely wrong. Edit: Rather than calling her flat, I should've stated how we didn't get to see enough of Sera's reasoning behind the extermination. We know she wants to protect the souls of heaven from the more sinful souls of hell, which is most likely the reason she does this. Although, I do wonder if there is something else in Hell Sera is also afraid of that could pose a threat towards Heaven.
@@swordcrab3181 True! I was thinking something like that would most likely happen. I obviously don't want her redeemed right away, otherwise it would seem way too forced in. Totally agree with you.
Sera never really opposed Charlie's goal when you go back and listen. Her giving Adam the go-ahead for the extermination was because of Lilith's influence over Hell. To be fair, we can't actually disprove Sera or Adam on that. It's been 10,000 years since the start of Hell. Lilith could in fact have been plotting a rebellion at the time. However, that is separate from her thoughts on Charlie's idea of redemption. Charlie had proved that souls in Hell could improve, but it wasn't until Sir Pentious's sacrifice earned him a place in Heaven that Redemption was actually possible.
@@crazy13alex That is true, but I'd argue that Sera wasn't receptive to the idea of redemption. She didn't want to consider it. I think the whole trial was meant to make it look like the idea was being considered, but only so it could be rejected. Yes, there was no hard proof that redemption was possible, but Charlie still demonstrated that souls in hell can improve, and it's pretty clear that the extermination is a bad thing. I think Sera is afraid that something that disturbs the status quo is going to lead to evil spreading. After all, that's what happened back when Lucifer disrupted the status quo. And redeemed souls coming from Hell is going to change things. I'm pretty sure she'll think that redeemed sinners are a danger, that they could spread evil to Heaven.
The fact that Sera's hallo is slightly blurry, while Emily's and Sir Pentious's are so definite, as given to how her morals were affected by the decision.
I knew I couldn't be the only one who saw Sera as more than a villain, who sympathized with her. That doesn't mean I condone her actions like approving the exterminations and hiding the truth from Emily, but I believe she's better than most people think. She's not a true villain. Here's hoping she can learn from her mistakes.
Agreed. Sera, unlike Adam, believed in the cause for the safety of heaven rather than for entertainment. Although her view on redemption may be a bit flawed, it's understandable on why she wouldn't be open to trusting a place filled with mostly bad people.
Agreed. Personally, I think she is a decent person, but an idiot of a leader. Like? They didn't even think they could kill you, and you slaughter them using angels? Like just chuck some angelic weapons down there every six months so they can take each other down. Nobody knows there is a way up, and the sinner all fight to be the top of the bottom. Also, she let Adam (who recently released a government secret to the general public) go down in Episode 8, to both: 1. Break the treaty that stops Lucifer from interfering, and 2. ATTACK LUCIFER'S DAUGHTER. How did she NOT think it wasn't going to end in a massacre? Even if she didn't know about the beheaded angel, she has to know Lucifer can end angels. Now all she has is an angry, oppressed species both born to fight and experienced in the ways of murder, who have been suffering while she stands up high in paradise, that now knows she and her people can be killed. Also a bunch of dead angels. All moral opinions of killers and worse forcing themselves into Heaven aside, her decision was a stupid EVERYTHING from all directions. All she did was aggravate a people who didn't even know they could bother her.
Fr. I’m sick of people assuming the morality of this show is black and white. Sera’s a complicated character, manipulated into starting a genocide by a psychopath, but people refuse to see her complexity.
@@zegpath81it’s honestly rather funny seeing how the show is all about moral greyness and nuance yet most of the fandom views the characters in black and white
@@zegpath81 Here is the real question how the fuck did Adam one of if not the dumbest characters get enough evidence to make a worthy argument and some how not fuck it up. I mean we saw what he did for a list on how to get to heaven so we are supposed to believe a guy who can't think of reasons you would get into heaven and essentially made up BS convinced Sera to allow literal genocide
@@zegpath81 It's pretty ironic that there are people who treat the show as if its black and white good vs evil when the main premise of the show is how morality ISN'T simply black and white.
I almost expected to hear Pentious at the end, after the violin sting at the end, saying in a mildly concerned tone "Excuse me, Ms Sera?...Are...are you ok?..." as if to say "hey, if you're upset, we can talk. That helped me. It might help you too..."
I don't think Sera ever doubted that souls could be redeemed. She was just immersed in the idea that Heaven would never accept it (because of what happened to Lucifer) and she needs to toe the line and keep the status quo. Despite being in charge of Heaven's day to day, it's heavily implied that big decisions like sinner redemption aren't actually up to her, and she doesn't want to fight for it and risk losing everything. She abandoned her morals by putting pragmatic considerations first.
I don't think redemption are up to any heaven angel at all there job is only take care of soul that get to heaven it show us that they/Sera don't even know redemption is possible or not and I don't think it about status quo we still don't have a detail of uprising and how Adam convince her so I think it batter to retain any judgmental before we know all the detail
Hell isn’t forever Heaven really was a lie If demons can find redemption they can join you in the sky!! The rules of the game have changed souls truly can be saved!! And no longer will be suffering in the fires of Hell!!
Not a bad reprise, I'd go with maybe something more like: "If Hell isn't forever, then to Heaven even Sinners can fly, Even demons can find redemption, so why can't they join the angels' sky? The rules of the game change when even the bad soul's saved They don't have to have Hell to suffer ever again~!"
Hell isn't forever heaven has only lied because theres a way for all the sinners to fly,the rules do not apply when sinners are in the sky when they are no longer down there just to be killed again.
Unfortunately, it's not like before when Viv could accept a songs like ADDICT and Just Look My Way. Now she'd have to deal with getting it through A24 and Amazon Prime, getting everyone on the crew to work on it, (Unless it was part of an actual episode, but that hasn’t happen with either of the previous songs and treated as canon through a music video.) and most of all: animation is expensive. Spindlehorse stills takes in profits from their merch sales to fund their projects. (As far as I'm aware.)
Please let that happen! If not for Sera, maybe rework the lyrics to make it Emily asking Sera and the other angels to change. “Heaven needs changing, and we need to change with it too”!
Honestly I have never seen Sera as a villain, because, and hot take, she did nothing wrong. The Exterminations started because the sinners have rebeled at least once. I dont thing I need to reming you what they are capabile of, Alastor alone could be a natural disaster if he slipped in Heaven. And now they have means to actually kill angels, do I need to stress out how much of a problem a bunch of psychos power obsessed madmen are for any sort of balance are, now that they ca-n do what they were never before able to? Her only mistake was not keeping Adam from jerking off to the killings and not reprimanding him when he started to enjoy it. But even his "And for those of us with divine ordainment Extermination is entertainment!", was triggered by the fact that sinners can now kill angels
Not Mine! I still believe that she’s a Villain in the show. Because in every tv show or film I have seen where fire or flames reflect in the eyes of a person; they are the true villain behind the show or film and the main villain is just being manipulated or controlled by the true villain (aka; The Ultimate Villain or The Supreme Big Bad)
@@Maliel_Devil91now your going against the very thing the show is about that people can change yes she was a villain but now she has probably realized she messed up and regrets it, not everything is black and white people and characters have layers
I feel like this perfectly encapsulates a crisis that Sera is experiencing. I hope that there is an exploration of both sides working together to figure out the rules. THIS SONG REALLY IS AN EXISTENTIAL CRISIS SONG IN A MUSICAL STYLE. I'm also hearing some "Into the Unknown" energy!! It's beautiful. "I'd like to change with it too" is such a beautiful line. While the line is beautiful, I'm a little skeptical if Sera in the show would demonstrate as much of a willingness to change. See her lyric "It's my load to shoulder... to do what was required" with fire in her eyes. There's the possibility that this Sera is mis guided, since we do not see other reactions after Pentious enters heaven, just a shocked look on her face. Side note, i love all the art out there that's portraying Sera having a more comedic existential breakdown. I feel like this song captures this existentialism in a much more in-character manner with the elegance of Milkyy's voice and the instrumentals. beautiful song ♥
Sometimes a shocking event is needed to cause someone to think, after they got over their shock. I do agree that line was a little too fast, but maybe this could be after more Sinners become Redeemeds, and she can no longer deny it.
That's what I've been saying, the story of the episode could start with Sera trying to keep Sir Pentious's true nature a secret at first until they can sort out what they're going to do, wile Emily agrees and shows him around Heaven meeting key future characters like Molly, however rumours of a Sinner in Heaven start spreading without Emily or Sir Pentious telling anyone but it causes a stir amongst the council who accuse Emily of causing unrest among the Winners and disrupting their perfect order, with Emily being threatened with banishment, Sera is forced to tell the truth about Sir Pentious and admits to her wrongdoings, broadcasting it to all of Heaven so that the council couldn't do anything to Emily without causing a uproar amongst the rest of Heaven who loves and cares for her, with the truth out, Sera flees the court with Emily and Sir Pentious chasing after her, when they find her in her room, they find her crying in a corner, all across the room were papers of her approving of the executions and reports from Adam on their success rate, both learn that before she decided to come clean she had a breakdown, she then lectures to herself aloud on she condemned the lives of so many souls out of ignorance and fear, how she allowed Adam to manipulate her into agreeing to these acts of violence just to maintain an order based on a lie, and now in telling the truth to save Emily from suffering the same fait as Lucifer, she has lost the faith of the angels, her dignity and her right to judge others on their actions as hers are no less wicked then many of the Overlords of Hell like the Vees, with her finishing with her saying how the best she can hope for now is to just accept whatever punishment awaits her, for she deserves nothing less, this strikes a cord with Sir Pentious and he remembers that moment when Vox abandoned him and he was ready to just give up and accept being killed by Vaggie, only for Charlie to give him another chance, Emily is trying to find words she could say to Sera to try and consolidate her when Sir Pentious slithers up to Sera to get her attention, it's here we get our reprisal, with Sir Pentious's lyrics focusing on how he once thought himself undeserving of forgiveness only to be given his second chance and became the redeemed soul he is now, and that if a littoral "dirtbag" like him could find redemption, so could she, Sera's lyrics would have her still uncertain on what the future holds if she takes this path but knows the best cores of action is to at least try, and Emily's lyrics show that despite Sera's shortcomings she still loves her and will support her and that because Sera now shows remorse for her action proves she's not a bad person, it ends with them agreeing to work together to make Heaven a better place for all, finishing with a friendly complement from God who entered the room without them noticing.
@@james739123Hi, I love everything about this and I wish you’d like or reply to this comment so I can be reminded to come back to this amazingly written plot.
This song is gorgeous! If Hazbin hotel put this in in S2 I wonder how Sera will be in our future! She may not be my favourite but this song touched my heart ♥️ xx
It’ll take time to cover her vast multitude of sins, but sorry is where it begins… OH MY GOSH, guys imagine if in season 2 we get a reprise of It Starts With Sorry by Sir Pentious and Emily to a regretful Serafim?!
I got to say… I was surprised when I heard this. It felt so real and it would be perfect in season two in the hazbin hotel series! I’d love to see that! Keep up the great work, and hope you continue to get recognition for your art and voice! 😇 ❤️
this is absolutely gorgeous. i never would have thought that sera would be the first i’d see a fansong for, but you’ve actually done it and made me feel for her! amazing song 💛
Lyrics: I guess I was wrong The people of hell truly can be changed. Now adam is gone I fear that I made the worst decision I should've never allowed him to just go ahead with the extermination. Does it even mean anything to pass divine judgement now? Heaven is changing For better or worse I must accept this truth that heaven is changing All I've known is a lie Can someone tell me why heaven's gates are open to sinners I don't know where all this will take us But heaven is changing So I need to change with it too What was I thinking Exorcists don't seem very heavenly at all As the head seraphim how could I tell Emily she could fall? Redemption is possible for all the souls in that hotel If I didn't know better I'd have mistaken this sinner as one of us What other lies does heaven hold? Is this place worth it's weight in gold? Are we no different to them? Why is it we get to ascend? Is this order of heaven Misguided? There must be something I can do to save the souls I helped in killing too Heaven is changing For better or worse I must accept this truth that heaven is changing All I've known is a lie Can someone tell me why heaven's gates are open to sinners I don't know where all this will take us But heaven is changing So I need to change with it too
Amazing song! I’m so excited to see where Sera’s character goes from here. Will she actually realize her mistake and start allowing more sinners into heaven? Maybe start looking into what exactly gets a person into heaven in the first place and whether or not their criteria needs updating? Or, will she end up doubling down on her beliefs, and instead worry that sinners getting in will disrupt the peace in heaven. Will she pressure Sir Pentious into being silent about his time in hell to keep word about demons being redeemable from spreading? Is heaven gonna pull a “There is no War in Ba Sing Se” on us and try brainwashing redeemed sinners, causing Emily to have to discretely recruit allies to help Charlie from the inside? So many possibilities!
I guess the revelation really puts her character in a crossroads of sorts as the head Seraphim. Whatever road she decides to take it will define the relationship between Heaven and Hell moving forward in season 2. I'm betting on the path that makes Lute the bigger villain than her whatever that maybe.
Change can be scary Sera, but it's going to be ok. & as for Emily she's gonna be fine she is not gonna fall so you didn't need to get her scared during trial.
This is what im here for. I LOVE this interpretation of Sera, someone who commited atrocities not because she believed they were the right thing to do but because she didnt see any other options.
This song is beautiful. Sera only did what she did out of protection for those she loves and didn't know redemption was possible. Now that she know it possible, I couldn't imagine the guilty she feels.
I can see a wholesome scene were Sera vents to Emily and Sir Pentious on how her poor judgment led to the deaths of both angles and sinners who could have been redeemed, how her own pride and ignorance caused so much suffering, how she failed to live up to what she fells was expected of her, and now she feels she is no longer deserving of being a seraphim, this strikes a cord with Sir Pentious as this mirrors when Vox abandoned him when he was discovered to be a spy, how despite everything he did, Charlie was willing to give him a second chance, and that led to him becoming the redeemed soul he is now, so remembering the example Charlie set for him, wile Sera is huddled in a corner ashamed of herself and Emily unsure what to do, Sir Pentious would slither to Sera, get her attention, and as she looks up, she sees him smiling wile offering his hand to her, inevitably beginning a reprisal of the song he and Charlie sung, with the lyrics reflecting how he once felt undeserving of forgiveness yet found it anyway and got redeemed because he took that second chance and made himself a better person, and that because Sera feels such guilt for her wrongdoings, that means she's deserving of a second chance too.
Came here from Twitter, and I really wish for this song to be an official Season 2 Hazbin Hotel song despite it being fanmade. Super nice work Milky, also your Sera voice is phenomenal ^^
I love it. Im catholic but ill confess that my faith in my religion tends to waver. This song support that God loves the sinner but hates the sin. I love how this songs captures that belief
It's actually interesting idea. Sera has always been convinced only of the safety of paradise, now everything has changed after Sir Pentious redemption, but something tells me that she is unlikely to want to put up with this. And that's only because she doesn't fully believe in Charlie's idea. Song is quite interesting. Both the idea itself and the implementation. I hope there will be more songs or covers by Hazbin Hotel.
Changing for the better even when you have every reason not to is one of the strongest things a soul can do. Pentious was and always will be a Sinner...but he's also an Angel. If *I* didn't know any better, I'd think he's now one of the most powerful characters in the entire show. Of course, this is the so-called "good" ending, where Sera drops her fear of the unknown and embraces the chaos that is existence. I'm not sure what Viv has planned for her, but at least with what we've been given so far, sadly I think she's more likely to double down than acknowledge she was wrong. We still don't know her true motivations though, so who knows until we get to see more of her.
This song sounds like Sera changing her alignment from Lawful Neutral to Lawful Good. Hope it happens in the show proper. BTW, you rock, Milky Melodies! Keep on singing! :D
This is freaking good omg!! I liked Sera since the moment I was introduced to her and I love how well you encapsulate the crisis she must be going through
That would be amazing! Having Sir Pentious sing a reprise of ‘It Starts With Sorry’ with Sera needs to be done! Sir Pentious character development will pretty much come in full circle, AND it would be a nice start to Sera’s character development!

Love love love this Taking her as someone who was either misinformed or came to a wrong conclusion. She thinks theres more lies and Heaven isn't as clean as they think. Given her line in 'You Don't Know' of "There's a lot that you don't know." Makes me think she is aware of all this and is trying to keep something worse back. What I don't know. Maybe God is dead or something. Amazing work and I'm so glad I found your works

Sera is unironically one of my favorite characters in HH. Not only thanks to her beautiful (and kinda attractive) design and Patina Miller's great voice acting, but also thanks to how complex character she is. While she allowed the exterminations, she isn't ruly evil. And while she deeply cares about Emily (my another, if not the most favorite characters), she isn't truly good either. Sera is pretty good morally gray/neutral character.
I agree My favorite character is Niffty I like this cute crazy little maid, I just like her The most hated after the Lute leaks ( who knows, this knows)
This song is so pretty that it made me Anna cry! I love it so much! I really hope Sera does see she made the wrongg decision cause her design is so pretty and I kind of like her and I want to see her get better!
This is beautiful and heartwarming song! I hope Sera get redemption later series!! Thank you for this song help me understand character better!!! Excellent job!
I love how you managed to give Sera so much nuance to her character with your song. I really think she deserves a redemption arc. I know that she can be a divisive character, but I believe since Emily is more hopeful and optimistic about rehabilitated sinners, it could possibly move Sera and possibly change her mind and heart and be less cautious.

She gave Charlie's hotel a chance to see if redemption was possible, and now that there's real evidence, I think she'll try to help the protagonists.
I like that sera is an "antagonist", but she's not really evil. The only reason she gave the green light to the extermination is because she wanted to protect heaven. She just wants to protect her citizens
Edit:OMG MOM IM FAMOUS
@@1989-Elis-Version Also, considering that in 1x03 Velvette and the other Vees have organized an all-out assault plan, it's not that Sera's fear isn't well-founded.
When faced with irrefutable evidence that they are wrong, a person will either admit it or double down due to their pride and/or ego.
Which one Sera chooses will determine if she is actually evil.
Good answer.
Why do so many people in the Fandom think she's evil
Same. I'm guessing she'll probably get worse before she gets better though. If only because it's more interesting for the story if she doubles down.
Sera wasnt flat though.

Yeah I agree 😊
She is also very scared. As he told Emily, if you question the rules, you may end up falling, like Lucifer.
Yeah It’d be a refreshing take instead of the cliche of anything in the higher ups of Heaven related being evil
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS SERA'S CHARACTER
@@EvanSakaguchi He probably had help from Lute...assuming the whole thing was really her idea and she just gaslit Adam into thinking it was his.
I almost expected to hear Pentious at the end, after the violin sting at the end, saying in a mildly concerned tone "Excuse me, Ms Sera?...Are...are you ok?..." as if to say "hey, if you're upset, we can talk. That helped me. It might help you too..."
Thatsss something I would sssay

@@Saintpentiousofficialhey good luck in Heaven
I don't think Sera ever doubted that souls could be redeemed. She was just immersed in the idea that Heaven would never accept it (because of what happened to Lucifer) and she needs to toe the line and keep the status quo. Despite being in charge of Heaven's day to day, it's heavily implied that big decisions like sinner redemption aren't actually up to her, and she doesn't want to fight for it and risk losing everything. She abandoned her morals by putting pragmatic considerations first.
I don't think redemption are up to any heaven angel at all there job is only take care of soul that get to heaven it show us that they/Sera don't even know redemption is possible or not
and I don't think it about status quo we still don't have a detail of uprising and how Adam convince her so I think it batter to retain any judgmental before we know all the detail
This needs to be official. Sera redemption arc? YES. Heaven is Changing as her song? YESSSSSSS
ABSOLUTE YESSSSSSSSSSSS
I AGREE 100%!
Sir Pentious made it to heaven out of unconditional love and self sacrifice at the last minute before adam deleted him
Hell isn’t forever Heaven really was a lie
If demons can find redemption they can join you in the sky!!
The rules of the game have changed souls truly can be saved!!
And no longer will be suffering in the fires of Hell!!
Not a bad reprise, I'd go with maybe something more like:
"If Hell isn't forever, then to Heaven even Sinners can fly,
Even demons can find redemption, so why can't they join the angels' sky?
The rules of the game change when even the bad soul's saved
They don't have to have Hell to suffer ever again~!"
Ye those lyrics do sound better was just spur of the moment

I HOPE SO ❤
Unfortunately, it's not like before when Viv could accept a songs like ADDICT and Just Look My Way. Now she'd have to deal with getting it through A24 and Amazon Prime, getting everyone on the crew to work on it, (Unless it was part of an actual episode, but that hasn’t happen with either of the previous songs and treated as canon through a music video.) and most of all: animation is expensive. @@LauraM96829yeah I agree with you ✨ 💯 👍
I used to think Sera is a villain. But this changed my perspective, I see her as a Lawful Neutral character.
But even his
"And for those of us with divine ordainment
Extermination is entertainment!", was triggered by the fact that sinners can now kill angels
I’m glad! I’ve always seen Sera as more complicated than people make her out to be.
I love how she’s just trying to protect herself Emily and heaven
I WAS GETTING FROZEN VIBES TOO
Sera is definitely going to need to do a LOT of reevaluating. So, I like to think that, until canon proves otherwise, this is canon in my mind.
Yeah I agree 😊
Yep!
Seeing how you've made Sera look like she regrets what she's done, I wanna hear Sir Pentious singing a reprise of "it starts with sorry" with Sera.
That's what I've been saying, the story of the episode could start with Sera trying to keep Sir Pentious's true nature a secret at first until they can sort out what they're going to do, wile Emily agrees and shows him around Heaven meeting key future characters like Molly, however rumours of a Sinner in Heaven start spreading without Emily or Sir Pentious telling anyone but it causes a stir amongst the council who accuse Emily of causing unrest among the Winners and disrupting their perfect order, with Emily being threatened with banishment, Sera is forced to tell the truth about Sir Pentious and admits to her wrongdoings, broadcasting it to all of Heaven so that the council couldn't do anything to Emily without causing a uproar amongst the rest of Heaven who loves and cares for her, with the truth out, Sera flees the court with Emily and Sir Pentious chasing after her, when they find her in her room, they find her crying in a corner, all across the room were papers of her approving of the executions and reports from Adam on their success rate, both learn that before she decided to come clean she had a breakdown, she then lectures to herself aloud on she condemned the lives of so many souls out of ignorance and fear, how she allowed Adam to manipulate her into agreeing to these acts of violence just to maintain an order based on a lie, and now in telling the truth to save Emily from suffering the same fait as Lucifer, she has lost the faith of the angels, her dignity and her right to judge others on their actions as hers are no less wicked then many of the Overlords of Hell like the Vees, with her finishing with her saying how the best she can hope for now is to just accept whatever punishment awaits her, for she deserves nothing less, this strikes a cord with Sir Pentious and he remembers that moment when Vox abandoned him and he was ready to just give up and accept being killed by Vaggie, only for Charlie to give him another chance, Emily is trying to find words she could say to Sera to try and consolidate her when Sir Pentious slithers up to Sera to get her attention, it's here we get our reprisal, with Sir Pentious's lyrics focusing on how he once thought himself undeserving of forgiveness only to be given his second chance and became the redeemed soul he is now, and that if a littoral "dirtbag" like him could find redemption, so could she, Sera's lyrics would have her still uncertain on what the future holds if she takes this path but knows the best cores of action is to at least try, and Emily's lyrics show that despite Sera's shortcomings she still loves her and will support her and that because Sera now shows remorse for her action proves she's not a bad person, it ends with them agreeing to work together to make Heaven a better place for all, finishing with a friendly complement from God who entered the room without them noticing.

how could I tell Emily she could fall?

If I didn't know better
I'd have mistaken this sinner as one of us
What other lies does heaven hold?
Is this place worth it's weight in gold?
Are we no different to them?
Why is it we get to ascend?
Is this order of heaven Misguided?
There must be something I can do
to save the souls I helped in killing too

It is actually there is no war in Ba Sing Se but you’re right it was also a one letter difference, so why am I being stingy?
@@zacharyjones3054 I did mean to write “no war”, but the autocorrect messed it up
I guess the revelation really puts her character in a crossroads of sorts as the head Seraphim. Whatever road she decides to take it will define the relationship between Heaven and Hell moving forward in season 2. I'm betting on the path that makes Lute the bigger villain than her whatever that maybe.
Sera deserves a redemption arc, I am not gonna sugarcoat it.

Change can be scary Sera, but it's going to be ok. & as for Emily she's gonna be fine she is not gonna fall so you didn't need to get her scared during trial.
I mean honestly Emily can fall it’s def a possibility
I bet Lute can find a way to make Emily fall... With a little sabotage.
I clicked so fast when the the video pop up;>; and I love your singing
"Heaven is changing" is such a powerful line
After watching “I’d Fall Again”, I think this song would come after it when Sera realizes she f*cked up big time.
This is what im here for. I LOVE this interpretation of Sera, someone who commited atrocities not because she believed they were the right thing to do but because she didnt see any other options.
Sera does need character development, and a song like this is perfect for that.
I LOVE this! Sera is such an interesting character and cannot wait to know more about her! This song is so beautiful Milkyy! 😭🩵✨

I give you 1 week for viziepop to come and tell you that this is beautiful (This is part of the second season I'm sure 😅❤❤❤)
Yeah! Have the same feeling, it just fits so well!!
God, I love Sera so freaking much.

While she allowed the exterminations, she isn't ruly evil. And while she deeply cares about Emily (my another, if not the most favorite characters), she isn't truly good either. Sera is pretty good morally gray/neutral character.
I agree
My favorite character is Niffty I like this cute crazy little maid, I just like her
The most hated after the Lute leaks ( who knows, this knows)
@@oskarkonczal6062Yes, I know what you're talking about
@@oskarkonczal6062 My favorite characters are Charlie, Emily, Sera, Lucifer and Sir Pentious.
The most hated are Adam and Lute.
This song is so beautiful! 😍 If Sera does get a song I hope it sounds a lot like what you’ve done here!
Omg you made this so freaking angelic like omg ❤
I really hope people can see this song and understand Sera’s character better, because this is a really accurate song!
What’s that I smell? I smell a future voice actor
Damn it! That's something that can really be in oficial season 2 of Hazbin Hotel! Really good job!
This song is so pretty that it made me Anna cry! I love it so much! I really hope Sera does see she made the wrongg decision cause her design is so pretty and I kind of like her and I want to see her get better!
Assuming all Millky's hazbin songs exist in the same continuity, this hits different after some of the recent songs
Poor Sera, she didn’t know the redemption for sinners in Hell
I agree
Imagine how many characters we would see if those other exterminations didn’t happen
I legit cry when I hear this. It moves my heart every time.
I have such chills! I'm holding back tears at how beautiful this is!
This is probably the best hazbin fan song I can’t turn it off loop
This is beautiful and heartwarming song! I hope Sera get redemption later series!! Thank you for this song help me understand character better!!! Excellent job!
I sometimes want to cry when I listen to this song, PLEASE THIS MUST BE CANON. 😭💖💖
2:20 those vocals
