I didn't like the first tree when you started, but when you finished, it was my favorite!! I have been collecting rocks but just haven't started yet. I want to place them in my garden and to give them as gifts!! I think they add some whimsy to the garden, which I love. Thanks for sharing!!
I like the idea of finding those flat rocks on mesh. The background is great (almost like a marble). I also love the idea of using the end of a pin to make the dots. I've been using a brush and can't get them uniform or round. I tried the pin and it makes a perfect round.Thanks.
I like these designs, the tree in the center at the end of the video in particular. I have been working on developing my own style of Dot Art which you can see at my channel if you would be so kin. Thanks to this video I now known what to call walking the dots.
Thanks so much for the tips on making the pens out of erasers and straight pins! I love your little trees. I wish you would tell us where we can get the stone mesh rocks! I'm in Oklahoma and it's not easy to find rocks, especially flat ones like that. Great video. Thanks
You can purchase those flat stone tiles (stones glued onto a fabric mesh usually sold in 12" squares) at any tile outlet store OR at Lowe's or Home Depot. Also, flat stones such as these, are in abundance in any River Bed. It's not necessary to spend a lot of money on a beautiful quartz polished stone if you're only going to cover up the beauty of the rock with a layer of paint. IMHO
Oh dear, this is an older video sorry i had used old craft paint in just bright colors browns white pinks reds yellows orange green but the names which were on the old bottles i do not know, but you can use anything in craft paint even old nail polish, just play i sealed the rocks after with a varnish so it really don't mater which paint you use just have fun!
Ilene McInnes I do a lot of paintings, both oils acrylics. so really enjoy stoping by to see you very talented ladies do your talented artist work. Blessings.
