    >"I haven't seen anyone else do this"
    >does at most 2000 damage per minute to a boss that has 99450 hp
    I wonder why?)

      arena's kitted up for easy hitless but with more summon effort and space, it'd be more efficient.

    lmao never seen this, nice work

    It's funny but i don't think it's needed. I mean i am the guy that kills duke on a lava shark so i don't know how hard it is but it feels like the set up would kill me more than the 3rd phase itself.

      I wanna do this pre-boss (I misspoke in the video when I said prehardmode, though that's not *wrong*) and while I know it's possible nohit naked in space on legendary, I like making arenas that make it easy/trivial. Lava shark is post evil boss too.

    Asphalt or lava shark is way more efficient. You're summons stopped focusing a lot which made you lose a massive chunk of your potential dps. Especially running with the terraprisma you would've been better off prioritizing making sure they're focused on The Duke.

      End goal is preboss, so lava shark and asphalt are off the table, though dune riders are avail and I will be using them for the full fight. I don't think I'm as interested in using horizontal movement to dodge the duke though.

      @@AlphactoryAT is terraprisma an exception or just to test the strat?

      @@swagmiredoesall this was a Proof of Concept done on stream for exclusively the 3rd phase. I zenith'd him down for the other bits. I'll be using a demon scythe later, and I've pulled this off with spiders and other misc damage. Will be starting streams of a playthrough soonish if you wanna tune in ;)

      I also might still have twitch logs of it but I wasn't streaming as much on twitch so I forget if I did it on or off stream. no one was watching anyway since twitch doesn't recommend small creators :/

      @@AlphactoryAT ok that sounds like it'd be interesting. I think this would probably work better with spiders which suits the run better anyways. They don't snap back as quickly, and as long as you set the arena up in a way that helps them focus on him more they might honestly make this strat more viable than using the terraprisma even if it was accessible preboss. If it was than you'd just be better off getting mobility and damage accessories lol. I'm interested in seeing whatever you come up with tho

    can you not open up the space you go down? I feel like that would greatly reduce the time if it doesn't fuck with the AI or something.

    • @AlphactoryAT
      @AlphactoryAT  5 месяцев назад

      Duke enrages if you go too far down. It's not really necessary though. I'm on a small world and dug like 10 or 15 blocks and that was enough.

      @@AlphactoryAT I think they mean horizontally, if you expanded it then there's more space where Duke could be taking damage

    • @AlphactoryAT
      @AlphactoryAT  5 месяцев назад

      @@dragonairre9634 they said "the space you go down" so I don't think so, though I'm also maximizing my horizontal space. If you mean the tunnel, I def could but will be doing this with a demon scythe and I need this arena for the first 2 phases so opening it up could potentially just lead to getting hit more during the fight itself. An earlier version of the arena had the bed in the center but if I get an unlucky 'nado, I want to be able to magic mirror away and stall until it despawns.

    • @dragonairre9634
      @dragonairre9634 5 месяцев назад

      @@AlphactoryAT yeh the tunnel through which you fall down after mirroring is pretty slim and Duke is only taking damage when he's between the two pillars so making that wider means more terraprisma damage each time he charges

  • @okay2422

    why does your arena look like that

    • @AlphactoryAT
      @AlphactoryAT  5 месяцев назад +2

      a mix of practicality, experimentation, and goofiness. the stripes/ribs catch sharknados in phase 2 so they don't hit me on the way down. the sandstone is for duneriders. rails and background walls were failed experiments.
