The Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler and dryer uses the Coanda effect to style hair with air, not extreme heat. With barrels to curl and wave hair, brushes to smooth and the Coanda smoothing dryer to hide flyaways.

I've bought a dyson airwrap complete long recently. It is fantastic and I am very satisfied with this product, although it's not the cheapest styling device 😉. Now I am interested in the new features the latest model will provide. I am happily looking forward to buy the new attachments to use them with my dyson airwrap. Just bought one in January…if I know it will be redesigned, I probably wait until the new one comes out and compare. Dyson should advise the new one earlier or give upgrade to the customers who bought it recently. It’s a high quality product, the service quality should match. It’s a expensive and long life product, nobody wants to see recently bought becomes old model in couple months.

The machine itself remains the same as the original Dyson Airwrap™ styler, with all the same key features and benefits. It is the attachments that have been re-engineered and designed with new technology, for increased control when styling.
The new attachments will soon be available to purchase separately from Dyson Demo stores and our official Dyson website. They will be available for purchase in specific kits as well as individually. Please keep an eye on the website for further updates on the release of these items.

Isn't that the same for all other companies with products. As if they are going to say what they are going to launch! They want customers to still buy the products that they have manufactured and are available for sale. It is very frustrating, but this happens all the time. I spent a lot on an expensive LG washing machine, it wasn't on the market long, next thing there's a newer more featured model launched.
@@lahonymanor2927 you can not compare this with a washer, there is no obvious improving for the washer. If you compare the old one and new one, there is significent improvement and convinient feature, instead of change the barrels for left and right side, there is a swith on the barrels, so you do not need to take off the hot barrel and put another one for the other side of the hair. If you use it, you will know. I just received it in January, and now Dyson is advertising the new feature one. I think I still can return it. I

Dyson makes the best vacuum cleaners, so you know their hair technology is 💯👍🏼 Never seen a styler that uses *air* before. I have heard of ones that uses steam but it was a lie. The air method seems promising and a healthier heat alternative.

I heard Dyson invests in women engineers, that's why their products are so good - they're designed by the people who actually use them. Love my V8 vacuum and am interested in getting this.
Any experiences with left handed users ? I ll be rotating or using to the direction of attachments. Would they fall off ?? Or the lock is stirdy ??
Hii. I am a leftie and all I can say is that I haven't had any issues with uding the dyson in my right hand for my right side, since all the wrapping work is basically done by the device itself. All you have to do is hold it. Also the attachements lock in very well, you don't have to worry about them falling.

The cold shot on your Airwrap needs to be held down when in use, for a quick shot of cold air to set your curls.

I don't think it works for every hair type tbh... my 'curls' straighten up just after few minutes even after using the hairspray; one side of my head of nearly dry when I haven't even finished styling the other side. I have no idea how ppl in tutoruals manage to get those hair styles done with it.

I purchased a Dyson air wrap back in April. Received it and it was broken so I called and decided we would do an exchange. You guys recieved my order on may 20th. I’ve called like 10 times and explained my situation over and over and the only answer I get is you guys will get back to me in 24-48 hours. I haven’t received anything or gotten an email or a call back. Pretty ridiculous that I received a broken one and still can’t get it back

Dyson Airwrap is designed specifically for the countries they are sold in, and machines manufactured for the United States are designed for 110-120v electricity. This machine is not multi-voltage.

Dyson machines are designed specifically for the countries in which they are sold. Because of this fact, we are unable to have the machine converted to meet the specific country electrical code and laws. In order to use the machine in a different country a power converter would be needed. We do not recommend using a converter, as the machine will not perform as expected and may cause damage. Hey a guy needing some help here.. I’m thinking about getting my partner this for Xmas.. is it a fancy hair curling wand? As she curls her hair often with a stand one is this like a upgraded thing?
This is a similar concept, but without the risk of extreme heat damage often associated with the use of curling irons.
This is an air-powered styler, which is used wet to dry using airflow, lower heat to protect the hair from heat damage and the various attachments can be used to create a wide range of different styles.

does my hair haws to be wet when curling?
For best results, start with freshly washed hair. All three brushes can be used on wet hair, but the barrels work best on damp. We recommend using the Coanda smoothing dryer to dry wet hair to damp before styling with the barrels. Alternatively, you can spray your hair down with some water. The product does work from dry, but the style may not last as long. For longer lasting style, we recommend the use of styling products to support and maintain the style

I am not impressed by Dyson at all! I am glad I found this video, maybe it will help me regain the trust in Dyson. For now I am missing my old professional hair dryer.
Does the Coanda smoothing dryer work if your using it on someone else, like when your trying to straighten the hair? Or is this device meant specifically for use on the person operating it? I’m thinking if our shading this for my girlfriend because she is going to be a hairstylist, but if She can’t use that attachment and all it’s features on other people I don’t know if these device would be worth purchasing

With the new Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler Dyson has re engineered its attachment, the new flyaway attachment which is a Multi-functional attachment to dry, smooth and hide flyaways and the barrels. Instead of switch the barrels between left and right to create that perfect curl the new barrels designed has the ability to rotate in both directions without having to remove the barrel from the main unit of the machine.

I live in Bangladesh. Few days ago, I bought my first Dyson airwrap from Canada and then I went to Dubai. When I plugged my air wrap in hotel it didn’t get turned on. So we went to Dubai mall Dyson store and then said they can’t help us with it as we bought it from another country. I was like bro we bought something from your company it is definitely your duty and responsibility to help out your costumers cause bro I paid 900 Canadian dollars for this. And if not (if they can’t help about country topic) then the company and their employees must serve their costumers with the right and important information. Doesn’t matter if the costumers are from that country or another. They must warn the costumers about the voltage thing. Some costumers may not know about it. Even the RUclips or other platforms didn’t even mentioned properly about it mostly everywhere. Then how we are supposed to know? This is bullshit. I paid 900 dollars and they can’t do anything to help their customers. From reviews, Dyson is a good product. But the service is really poor. Even when I went to Dubai mall Dyson store, the employee didn’t seem to be very well behaved with me. I’m super upset now. I can’t do anything about it. It’s right in the corner of my room, rotting. After hours of research I got to know that some costumers are the same victims as me. So they used converter to work it out but they also mentioned that there’s a high chance that the Dyson won’t be able to work for so long if you use converter. It will get damaged soon. The Dubai mall Dyson store employee said the same to me. Also it is hard for me or I didn’t find any good electricians to help me about the converter thing. However this was my first airwrap in life worth 900 dollars. I’m in grief now. Can’t do anything.

Are you referring to the airflow settings? If so, no. Those do not light up. Let us know if you have any other questions!

The next generation Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler, as a whole, remains the same. The attachments have been re-engineered for increased control while styling. The new attachments will be compatible with the older wands.

You may be thinking about the Dyson Corrale™ that has 3 set temperatures you can use. The Dyson Airwrap™ has 2 heat settings and a cold shot. Intelligent heat control measures air temperature over 40 times a second to prevent extreme heat temperature which could damage your hair. This is the same for both Dyson Airwrap™ releases.

thank you for your reply. I live in Greece and looking for a suitable and effective product for my type of hair which as i have explained is a very difficult type with a combination of long, semi curly and super thick, horse tail like, and super dense. I appreciate any advice@@dyson

Why it was so tough make a presentation presentation before a couple of month what you will produce a new redesign and upgrade device.Dason just wanted sale all and product.Thats why.Regret what bought previous version.Absolutely unrespectable relation to customers. Hope new barrels will be available for sale separately.And in all colors and sizes for previous model.

Isn't that the same for all other companies with products. As if they are going to say what they are going to launch! They want customers to still buy the products that they have manufactured and are available for sale. It is very frustrating, but this happens all the time. I spent a lot on an expensive LG washing machine, it wasn't on the market long, next thing there's a newer more featured model launched.

HELP> dyson vs. revlon. pls help guys. i have thick, coarse, 3b curly hair that ive been straighten for a while: flat iron 2 years, revlon for a year. i have so much heat damage despite using the revlon for the past year along with hair oiling and hair masks weekly. so many split ends and so much breakage. i assume the revlon is better than the titanium flat iron i used earlier, and its wayy faster too. but... it is causing damage, so i bought the dyson. pls help me. idk if i should return it. actually, my mom bought it for me bc im a kid. but idk if its worth it. i tried the round brush attachment once and here is my verdict: my roots are wayyyy flatter than from the revlon bc of the smaller barrel. used less time than the revlon.
**someone whose used both can u tell me if the dyson is heat damaging? or if you've only used the dyson on curly hair, have u noticed heat damage???? pls help me. ill feel rly guilty if i waste my mom's money. it's ONLY worth it to me if the round brush dyson is less HEAT DAMAGING than the revlon. i like using the curling barells, but that's not why i bought it.

Long time Dyson customer, purchased 5 products from them. Don’t buy it. Without fail, your unit will stop functioning right after the warranty expires. The product is great when it’s new, but the parts, when failing, made the entire set unusable after 2 years and 2 months (yes, warranty ended at 2 years).
No helpful options other than to buy a new complete multi styler at $600.
Have 4 vacuums and this multi styler. Same thing with the vacuum's. Save your money, go with a regular dryer and a brush, or a flat iron for curls.
