When my daughter was in Baton they had a pagent component to the Competition, it was hard as a parent the kids wanted to do it, some could afford the fancy dresses and hair and makeup and for other families that could not it was hard because the kids felt the they could not compete. Thankfully, my daughter was there for the fun and social aspect .
