I really enjoyed hearing your story! I began running 11 years ago at 42 years old, after being 40 pounds overweight and pre-diabetic. I quickly improved and that caught the attention of many local runners who started asking me for training advice and plans. So I decided to get certified as a coach through RRCA. I'm just at the first stages of growing my business, so I;m very excited to learn of your success! Thanks so much for sharing Nick!

Great story. I get inspired by you, coming from a non running back ground am slowly progressing from failing to hit 5min/km pace to chasing sub 4min/km in two years of on and off because of work

Nick, if I wasn’t already a part of Brendon O’Leary’s racing team I would absolutely look to you for coaching. Your enthusiasm is contagious!! Best of luck to you and Matt in Berlin. I will be in NYC chasing sub 3:00.

Not sure if you've answered these?'s before... Did you run XC/Track in High School, college?
What other sports did you play, if any? Who were your coaches growing up or who have you learned from over the years?? Thanks Nick! Love the content and your hard work! Good luck on the trails, roads and track!

I did one season of 800m in school (when I was 17), the fastest I did it on was 2 mins dead. That was it
I played tennis mainly and then after school quite a bit of golf.
I haven't had a coach but followed a few training plans from a coach in SA, called Frank. The coach at my previous club HHH is called Geoff
