I’m just running for myself, not competitively, but I love your race analyses, it’s very insightful, especially in regards to overcoming mental challenges. As an amateur, I find your fitness and times quite impressive. Thanks for the quality running content!

Ran this on Sunday, managed a PB - 45:06 chip time and 44:15 according to my Garmin (took some corners pretty wide!). Found the course really narrow at parts which given I was middle of the pack was frustrating, but otherwise a great race. Well done on your result!

Great effort as always. I had a bad race 2 weeks ago but got another 10k this evening.
I break my race down in to miles with first being slowest then i focus on hitting each mile dead on pace until last 1.2 miles where im all out and see how many people i can overtake. It sort of saves the pain until the end where your mind already knows youre nearly finished.

Well done. Got chatting to you at the finish. I managed to sneak under 34 and was 3rd V40, so I'm so happy with that. Coming back next year fully fit to smash it.
All the best for the rest of 2023

Great stuff Nick. Brilliant seeing the course again in your video. Like many, I was head down going flat out and didn't get to appreciate how iconic the route was!!.. I do recall Big Ben was bonging as I went over Waterloo Bridge, which was special. Lots of happy looking people in your club - you're clearly doing a good job! Keep up the great work!

Firstly, congratulations on a top 10 finish and for getting this video out whilst the wounds are still open. Really interesting hearing your take on 3-3-3-1 I like that. That grind section would’ve helped me climb that hill at Trafalgar, Leister square (4-5k in) that’s where my race fell apart and it was a lonely run to the finish line from there. As you’ve summarised so well, there’s lots to take from races like that, it makes training even more motivational and drives you forward for success. For you it’ll come in Berlin, for me Valencia in December. Onwards and upwards my bro. BOOMSHAKALAKA 🎉

Yessss! I like the sound of that! We need to plan our peak for our main goals!!
Valencia is always a winner and there’ll be a massive BA presence there!! Smash it 🔥

That was my first central London race and it was tough. those corner and inclines made you question everything! it was pretty humid but the time my pen left the start line. It was lonely at times and. hard not to get in your one head for sure. PB 1 hr 5mins so was happy but had secretly wanted to be closer to sub 60. I have vitality 1000 which seems a similar route in September, so lets see if I am more prepared. my nike vapofly struggled with those turns. We were told its a flat and PB route but it definitely didn't feel flat lol. Well done and thank you for sharing the reality of running with a family, so important.

Seen you zip by at the start whilst waiting in the pen Nick fantastic running as always. How did you find the humidity yesterday? I really struggled in the mid part from mile 3 but I’m coming back from injury. Might have got too excited in the beginning hitting 8.05minute miles which is well quick for me. Good indicator though of where I am and what need to work on. Fantastic event though really enjoyed it 👏👏

Great Run! Well done. I have a question for you. I got a pb in the 10k last week running 39.37. My average heart rate was 192 and I'm wondering is this normal??
I'm fully recovered but watching your videos and other runners, your heart rate would only go over 180 in the last mile/kilometre.
