I am a citizen of this community and thought she should have stepped down after she was in the hospital on Election Day. We have some awful people that have been wedged at the top around here.

As a recovering alcoholic I think the last person in the world I would trust is an active alcoholic lawyer…maybe second to last, after an active alcoholic surgeon in charge of my vasectomy.
She needs to be in long term recovery program. I am speaking from experience, I was forced into alcohol rehab while I was in the Military and it was one of the best things to ever happen to me. I was a functioning alcoholic and my superiors were shocked when I ended up in a fight one night and they did a BAC at base security. I came clean with them. I ended up Retiring from the Military because the Military thought I would be a better person if I was sober and they were right. It is a disease but it is also treatable with the right long term care program.
Now she's dead. Shameful everyone went after her. Accusations aren't evidence. This woman was suffering from a head injury, alcohol, eating disorder, then they kept hammering her. So some protesters were wrongly accused then it was dropped I think. Big deal. She seemed very nice as most attorneys are rude or cut you off at knees. I'm in the minority but I emailed that reporter & didn't even get a reply so again what's so great about it? Legal system can easily railroad someone. RIP to her and sad for her family 😑🙏

Thus is what happens when you expand the government. We need to cut out at least 50% of the people in Congress so the remaining 50% can get some work done!!!
I believe in forgiveness and second chances, but if the leader of a prosecution team in Maricopa County has a drinking problem and in a rehab program, SHE NEEDS TO BE GONE. This person has no business leading others. She can do her healing and sobriety AFTER she has been sober for years somewhere else. Thousands of people's lives hang in the balance from these people's decisions and actions daily, and it is nowhere for someone to be leading a team who has her own demons affecting making rational decisions. The DOJ needs to put the entire state of AZ under the microscope for their legal system. It is beyond corrupt.
Yes if she is causing more damage than good she needs to be forced into addiction rehab and interim replacement until another can fill her position! Dealing with people that have alcohol or drug addictions can seriously drive someone to the brink of homelessness and pennilessness at the hands of someone that is intending to cause harm including those with undisclosed diagnosis such as psychopathy or sociopathic tendancies.
