When I belonged to the Orthodox church 🤮we used to have bible studies. We had one covering this subject and the priest we had did not know anything. He was very repetitious and did not cover it well. Later, we did another one of the church's parishioners cover it and he did it just as good as Taylor Marshall did here.

One: are there different sections in heaven, with restricted access to some areas? Your explanation seems to suggest that only the Seraphim have direct access to God, and the other hierarchies of angels do not. I thought everyone in heaven can seen God and has direct access to the Trinity. Two: in which part of heaven is Mary Queen of Heaven and Mother of God? And St Joseph her chaste spouse? And the other saints? Three: do the hierarchies of angels represent their power and influence, with the Seraphim being the most powerful, and the angels the least? I had always thought that the Archangels are the most powerful.

Interesting that the various Angelic hierachies described by Christian theologens all use terms asociated with Monarchical systems of Government: Principalities, Kingdoms, Thrones, etc. A Principality, for instance, is a subsection of a larger kingdom, governed by a prince, Speaking of which, although they're absent from this particular itiration of the angelic hierarchy, some other interpretations label one of the upper strata as: The Kingdoms' & The Thrones should be fairly self explanitory. It's almost like this is all just a relic from an era where people still believed the Ruling Monarch had the divine right to rule over "lesser men" & was directly appointed by God himself & that the entire hierachy was constructed by powerful people as a thinnly veiled attempt to reforce the belief that an Absolute Monarchy is the Right & Just way to govern a country, So the downtrodden peasantry don't get all uppety & start getting ideas about equality & democracy... -_- Funny that, isn't it?
Statues are never used in the Old Testaments as icons or “windows” to the divine. No one in the old and new testaments prays to saints or angels. Invalid arguments.

A Miracle happened the Morning of August 5, 2022 while in Bed. All of a sudden I felt and heard my Guardian Angel tell me in my Head to Start the Novena to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Not knowing to make of the situation I ran to the Computer ASAP! Only to discover in my research that the Novena of the Blessed Virgin Mary's Assumption started on August 6 as instructed by my Angel. This proves to be a Miracle beacause I didn't know the Novena existed. WOW!!! Praise GOD!!! With that being said I would like to see the Vatican require it be prayed in Church from August 6-14th following the feast Day. For some reason I've always thought Archangels were at the top. Maybe because the Archangel Michael was leading the army of angels fighting the Dragon, Satan, in Heaven in the book of Revelation.
Question time: God created these 9 roles before or after the fall of demons? I dont undertand How Powers would be useful to God before the fall of Angels, unless... He foresaw the fall? I’ve seen powers and virtues reversed in many different places and want to get it straight. Does anyone know the proper order? I pray the St. Michael’s Chaplet daily and have found many sources that do powers then virtues and others (here) do virtues and powers. Even on the printed chaplet pamphlets, I have seen both orders!

Any idea why the Powers and Virtues are switched at times. I’ve seen podcasts with them switched and in the order described here. I’ve got a TAN publication that has them switched and then a devotion from another publication with them in this order…🤷🏻♂️

something i don't understand about the Hierarchy, If Michael is basically the Right Hand of God and he's an Arch Angel? why is he so low on that Hierarchy?
That's how he was created, as a lower rank angel, but when Satan refused to serve man and disobeyed God, Michael was the one to step out and say "Mikha'el", rethorically asking Lucifer "who is like God?", basically "who are you to dare to disobey God". He lead the army of angels to defeat the demons and that's why he is so high up now, for his righteousness and bravery.
I would have to correct you on the Archangels. There is the Choir Archangels, which are the chief angels overseeing the lowest angels who work in inspiring man to things like science, art, inventions, etc. There are thousands of Archangels. Than there is the Archangels in title as being of the highest Choir the Seraphim in which there is seven but only three are named in Scripture St. Michael the Archangel the head Seraph, St. Gabriel the Archangel, and St. Raphael the Archangel. There was another but Pope St. Zachary clipped his wings, removing him from the list of Saints, which was Uriel the Archangel. Four of the Seraphim are always present at the throne of God in Heaven. Lucifer was the eighth Seraphim before his fall from God's Grace and was the leader of the Seraphim. When St. Michael the Archangel defeated Lucifer he was made the leader of the Seraphim. Some would say Lucifer was a Cherubim but I would disagree. The word Seraphim comes from the word in Hebrew for serpent. And besides to turn 1/3rd of the angels against God it would only make sense if he was the most powerful of God's angels. A Cherubim is second place to a Seraphim after all and if Lucifer was favored by God above all the angels he would've been the leader of the angels. Going up against God he would've had great influence over the other angels. The serpent or dragon best describes the angel Lucifer was a Seraphim.

@bismarckswalkingstick not to be a pedant, but it's not meant to be taken literally. In the Book of Revelation, Jesus is described as a lamb with 7 eyes and 7 horns. Seven is a Hebraic number of perfection - seven eyes means all seeing. Horns were a symbol of power. Seven horns means all powerful. There's a similar meaning here, although I don't know what all the animal heads stand for. Angels are pure spirits and therefore don't have bodies

He would never see the "thousands of angels in heaven" and he wouldn't see the angel flying overhead to proclaim the gospel. Even ezekiel describes lucifer as "full of wisdom and perfect In beauty." The cherubim example I gave may indeed be metaphorical, but I'm fairly certain angels do have an appearance. God is stated by Jesus to also be a spirit and we know he has an appearance that both daniel and John see.

I'm almost afraid to ask. Why did God create angels to do things He can easily do himself? It just struck me while watching.
1.) They OBEY & SERVE GOD. THEY WORSHIP & GLORIFY HIM ETERNALLY.
2) THEY ARE HIS MESSENGERS
3.) Every Angel is assigned a human at the birth of each baby.
4.) They are the Almighty Father's servants.
5.) They are in charge of all the movement in the Universe.
Even though God can do all that angels do, HE has judging, and chastising to do. 😉 So, maybe they
do all these things because He's so busy judging all souls after their arrival upon demise of every human .
I guess you could also ask, why did God create humans? Why did He select certain humans to be prophets, why did He send Hisn nly begotton Son to be born of a Virgin? His ways are not our ways. We can never fully understand on this earth with our human brains. But logically, i think He reveals Himself and the Church thru all this/creation. Order, hierarchy, etc. He doesn't need angels or humans, but choose to create us. Love.

A Miracle happened the Morning of August 5, 2022 while in Bed. All of a sudden I felt and heard my Guardian Angel tell me in my Head to Start the Novena to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Not knowing to make of the situation I ran to the Computer ASAP! Only to discover in my research that the Novena of the Blessed Virgin Mary's Assumption started on August 6 as instructed by my Angel. This proves to be a Miracle beacause I didn't know the Novena existed. WOW!!! Praise GOD!!! With that being said I would like to see the Vatican require it be prayed in Church from August 6-14th following the feast Day. Make no mistake Holy Father if the Angel delivered this to me I this the whole Church needs to pray this Holy Novena. Praise be JESUS and MARY Now and Forever!!! AMEN

I had that exact same question.
That's how he was created, as a lower rank angel, but when Satan refused to serve man and disobeyed God, Michael was the one to step out and say "Mikha'el", rethorically asking Lucifer "who is like God?", basically "who are you to dare to disobey God". He lead the army of angels to defeat the demons and that's why he is so high up now, for his righteousness and bravery.

I would have to correct you on the Archangels. There is the Choir Archangels, which are the chief angels overseeing the lowest angels who work in inspiring man to things like science, art, inventions, etc. There are thousands of Archangels.
Than there is the Archangels in title as being of the highest Choir the Seraphim in which there is seven but only three are named in Scripture St. Michael the Archangel the head Seraph, St. Gabriel the Archangel, and St. Raphael the Archangel. There was another but Pope St. Zachary clipped his wings, removing him from the list of Saints, which was Uriel the Archangel. Four of the Seraphim are always present at the throne of God in Heaven.
Lucifer was the eighth Seraphim before his fall from God's Grace and was the leader of the Seraphim. When St. Michael the Archangel defeated Lucifer he was made the leader of the Seraphim. Some would say Lucifer was a Cherubim but I would disagree. The word Seraphim comes from the word in Hebrew for serpent. And besides to turn 1/3rd of the angels against God it would only make sense if he was the most powerful of God's angels. A Cherubim is second place to a Seraphim after all and if Lucifer was favored by God above all the angels he would've been the leader of the angels. Going up against God he would've had great influence over the other angels. The serpent or dragon best describes the angel Lucifer was a Seraphim.

@bismarckswalkingstick not to be a pedant, but it's not meant to be taken literally. In the Book of Revelation, Jesus is described as a lamb with 7 eyes and 7 horns. Seven is a Hebraic number of perfection - seven eyes means all seeing. Horns were a symbol of power. Seven horns means all powerful. There's a similar meaning here, although I don't know what all the animal heads stand for. Angels are pure spirits and therefore don't have bodies
@WhiteChocolate74 they are spirits, but they do clearly have an appearance otherwise john in revelation would never see them. He would never see the "thousands of angels in heaven" and he wouldn't see the angel flying overhead to proclaim the gospel. Even ezekiel describes lucifer as "full of wisdom and perfect In beauty." The cherubim example I gave may indeed be metaphorical, but I'm fairly certain angels do have an appearance. God is stated by Jesus to also be a spirit and we know he has an appearance that both daniel and John see.
