This video is an example of everything I like about guitar players. I'm a 57 yr. old chic with a pick myself. I love to play rock but I admire good players of any style. You just never know what you're about to hear when a relative 'unknown' picks up a guitar. Great playing Paula!

Saw you last night in Gallatin at the Last Call. Big smile, big playing. I’m in a brand new local band called Slingshot and our singer John did a Beatles number with the band. We call him “The Kid” because he’s only 62...the rest of us are 67, 70, and 78.

Paula, you should have put the name of your band in, and maybe a link to a place showing your upcoming shows, would love to see you when I'm back Nashville way myself, you're an excellent example of older southern family playing, where musical talent and hard work and practice just seemed to woven in everyday life.

It'a Man's Man's Man's World!!!! Who would ever dare define Eric Clapton or Robert Fripp, or Bob Dylan, God bless 'em all, "grandaddy"? Prejudice on women is always in ambush, even in RnR, where you have just few names conquering the stages, compared to male's overcrowded scene... So, what a surprise that a female, whatever her age is, plays an instrument, and uttermost, she can play it well! if it happens that you got older than 50 and play guitar, if your a man, you're an axe, but if you're a woman you should be conforming on the grandmother's stereotype and stay at home in slippers, presumably making cookies for grandchildren and coffee for grandpa, as common sense pretends. Mrs. Taylor is simply an excellent guitarist, indeed. And she rocks!!! Happy New Year to everybody!!!
Paula Jo, that is fantastic! I could buy an electric guitar and practice for 20 years and not be anywhere as good as you are--and I've already played acoustic guitar for 30 years. Serious chops! I love that Tele sound in country music.

I wish I would have known sooner as I have signed my video over to newsflare and they claimed copyright of it so that it would be monetized and I can get a little money for the views. Unfortunately it's only the future views from the time they took over which is just this past week so the nearly 2 million views don't count. Oh well at least it is exposure and I do appreciate your help.
Well, I don't know beans about how anyone gets money out of these vids (I just do this for fun), but I assure you that if money comes of my copy I will move Heaven and Earth to see that YOU get that money. No, I didn't think you were "accusing" me in any way. You're a class act and I know better than that. I'm also embarrassed to admit that I'd never even heard of you until I saw the video. Still, one thing is for sure, either playing by yourself, or in a band, you certainly do not suck! Corey, I can't reply to your comment on the most recently posted video of the musicians from Germany joining us because I had to remove it. I had not received permission to post it from the party who filmed it so I thought I would reply to you here. I do appreciate your advice and agree with you that I should post more videos but that is a big part of the problem. If I'm on stage performing then obviously somebody else is filming and unless it's filmed with my phone, I don't own the video so I can't post it.
