They tied the Rangers record, they didn't break it. They will do that the end of the 2021/2022 season.
@@milesdufourny4813 the rangers had 54 years between cups.. if (possibly through reality warping abilities to not choke come playoffs) the leafs win it next year, that will mean it would be 55 years between cups... they broke the record this year

As a Sharks fan, I know we're not really better, but this is brilliant
The Sharks are one of the California teams that can practically be lumped in with the Canadian teams, as their tax rates has seen quite a lack of eagerness for players to play there as well. Think Kucherov would ever sign for the same amount in San Jose... he'd pay an extra $1.5 million in taxes. SJ's only option would be to give him more to equal out his net take-home pay he could get with Tampa... and then you wonder why you can't compete.
At least the San Jose Sharks can win more than 3 playoff games.
