Glad ur back Bearz G I’m in San Diego too fish mostly San Diego bay .. unfortunately I took 3 months off work to take care of my dad who had a liver transplant .. a month after returning to work my dad passed away and I was financially struggling so I had to sell all my fishing gear. I haven’t fished in a year and I want to get back out there hopefully after the holidays I can get back to it and build up my arsenal how I had it.. sorry for your loss man I know the feeling I’m still struggling after losing my Dad
Good to see you out and about fishing Tony. Stay safe and healthy bro. I'd like to see you and Ken out there doing the Walmart 12 days of fishing. Aloha from Kansas
You never have to apologize to your extended family. :) We love yeah and we love what you do. :) Sending a big prayer & condolences to you & your family from Japanland. Take care bro!
Mackerel and Bonito are all gone after October in CA. It's really trout season now! But have fun catching all the shore fish. 😁 Also if you are cold, get a heated vest they are cheap on Amazon. I use one and they are great for the season. 😊
@@LettuceLand Inshore yes they are gone, being palegic fish they go deeper. Unless you have a boat or kyack or access to deeper water that's different. For inshore, been fishing 4 weeks in same place and not a bite. Back in last week of Aug in same place had 17 Mack's and 10 Bonitos. No one else (20-30 people) after Mid Sept to Oct are catching anything either still to today. How you explain all this bro? 🤣 Some basic info on palegic fish: Pacific bonito range throughout state waters, but they are most prevalent south of Point Conception. They sometimes arrive off California when the ocean warms in the spring, but during periods of colder than normal water temperatures they may never show up. Pacific bonito may not spawn successfully off California every year; spawning generally takes place farther south. The bulk of southern California spawning appears to take place from late January through May. The free-floating eggs take about three days to hatch. They prefer water in the temp of 60-68 and are most active in that temperature.
Welcome back! Condolences for you and your families lost, had a very similar scare as wells. my uncle was in the hospital and had brain surgery to stop some bleeding had to go under twice. Like your story he was like a 2nd father to me, got me into fishing when I was younger, got me out of a lot of trouble, got me into a lot of trouble 😂 also. It’s that time of year, please start to reach out to yours everybody and try to make it a habit not just during the holidays. It’s a very joyful time for many, but for many it’s also a lonely time.
Yo Yo Yo wuddup wuddup! Yo Bearz, have you fished at shoreline dr at the very end back of SeaWorld where they shoot fireworks from that barg is parked, there are fish by the boat docks and that open area!
