Jazak' Allah*
God knows how many times I’ve listened to this lecture. Well said.
Very deep exposed ustadh. I like your view of thinking mashallah
What a beautiful elaborating
Amazing storytelling. Just got really disappointed that I can't watch the whole thing without subscription. I get it though. Man gotta make a living
Alhamdulilah
1) Insha'Allah, may Nouman Ali Khan see this and answer the following question I've had for a while now: I understand that we were meant to come to earth as khalifas, however how does this verse of the Quran figure into that story - "Indeed, we offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant."
2) I respectfully and humbly disagree (and could very well be wrong) with some nuances of the two stories that are told in this video about Adam and the Iblis. While I do believe that the story is about accountability, it is kinda unfair to Allah (swt) to imply that Adam (pbuh) was offered a position that Iblis was given or promised. The Iblis may have wanted the position for himself or he may think he deserved it more, however, there is no indication that he was promised it - at best it could have been interpreted or implied.
Also, whilst I agree that the story is about taking personal accountability, I respectfully disagree (and could very well be wrong) with how you approached that point. I believe you approached it from the perspective that both Iblis and Adam (pbuh) shouldn't have questioned Allah's motives - even if it was preordained or set them up, one questioned and the other was right not to question.
The approach I prefer to this is that it's a story of repentance and not about what was pre-ordained. They both made the mistake of disobeying a very straightforward command - Adam (pbuh) was told to not eat the fruit and Iblis was told to bow down; if they both claimed to submit to Allah - then they both made a mistake. One chose to rage after his mistake and the other chose to say that he was sorry. One was obsessed with being better than the other, and the other just wanted to be forgiven for doing something wrong. So, I agree with the overarching point that it's about personal accountability, but I prefer the approach of how the story is a beautiful example against racism or beings being obsessed about being better, and how a "sorry" is all the difference between humans and the devil.
However, Allah knows best and may peace be with anyone reading this.

I answer the question of "why it's my fault if it's in qadr" with a father knows if his kid went to a restaurant he'll order pizza not salad but that doesn't mean that the father is responsible for the unhealthy choice of his son he knows coz he know his son...the knowledge of Allah is incomparable he is al Alim so he knows but that doesn't mean he has influenced you for that choice
very reasonable answer.
Nouhman Ali Khan solved a billion-dollar question for me today. We must thank Allah and Jazzakallah for Nouhman Ali Khan.
Dr Jeffrey Lang - goes extra step, he says; Adam’s audacity to disobey Allah (swt) was indicative of Adam‘s ability to live on his own, make his own decisions and his readiness to be sent to earth.
Marvelous.
Bad opinion. No human can live on his own .But yes we can make decision
Make sense
I'm Christian but I like listening to him,
He’s awsomeeee
Story of Adam is very different in bible than in Quran
Especially because in bible, i think God in genesis lies to adam that if he ste the fruit he eill die, & it is not befitting of Hod to lie& makes a very big deal of it , & punished adam & specially eve. The text os misogynistic i would argue.....
Bit in Quran it os totally different as God says to angel good reasons for why he created Adam. & Forgives afam for his sin
Rather than putting the burden of original sin on all of Adam's children
Can you not be a Christian and come to the Christ who was sent as a messenger to you and instruct you to worship one God without making Jesus(pbuh) as part of God
what about now brother still christian or......
Become a Muslim, because the only reason for you now to become one is Jesus peace be upon him was and is and will be a Muslim forever. Ask yourself this question, did Jesus peace be upon him call himself a Christian.
I am from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
I love to listen his lecture. May Allah bless him.
Allah’s Swt verses carry deep meaning and wisdom and very few have dived into that ocean to harvest the pearls of knowledge and wisdom, and Ustad Nouman merit our deep admiration and appreciation. Stay blessed Ustad Nouman. You have explained it so beautifully and in an easy manner. SubhanAllah
😊
Knowing something doesn’t mean you did it. Allah created Adam and since he knows everything and he is beyond time also knew that Adam was going to the tree. That doesn’t mean Allah made him go to tree. Allah always knew Adam would. Thats it. The most you can say is that Allah allowed him to make a mistake not that he made him make a mistake. Knowing something ahead does not take away will. 🌹
May Allah bless you and reward you with Jannatul Firdaus, what an insight.

All Christian countries give equal rights to Muslims. They can construct Mosques, practice their religion freely and convert Christians to Islam.
There are 57 Islamic nations but they do not allow the same freedom to Christians. The local Christians cannot practice their religion freely and they are treated as second rate citizens. If they convert a Muslim to Christianity both will be killed.

I’m watching this at 9am 😎 this made me emotional because before I watched this I was reading the Quran that yesterday the Imam gave me after I gave the ATHAN and I’m a new shahada, then i was watching why the crips was beefing with the GDs and because of they betrayed the crips and it hurts and I was reading in the Quran “The Brotherhood of truth is one in all ages: it is narrow men who creates sects. Let them not think that the goods of this world can shield them from evil or it’s consequences. Gods truth and his messenger can be known to all: for he in his mercy has given us faculties and judgement, if we would but use them. The message is not new: all creation proclaims it: high above all is the Lord of Glory Supreme!”
Bro you can't just leave in a cliffhanger like that... LOL
whether things make sense to me or not, i have to trust the wisdom of Allah. if there is a fault, i have to take the responsibility -Adam a.s
I am putting a successor on Earth, in Arabic sense, it is Khalifah, the one left behind to be in charge and need to pass the responsibility down and down; a person left to his own devices, to take charge, to do whatever he wants, he has the choice although we left instruction on the do's and don'ts

My Christian friend once asked me this question... How can Shaitan enter Jannah? I mean, how was Shaitan allowed through the various gates of Jannah with angels guarding each gate?
Christians say that the Garden of Eden was on earth and Heaven is different place.
Please guide me on how to answer my friend.
I have a genuine question…..if Adam and Eve were the first man and woman…..who did their kids marry to have kids and so on to populate the world. So was incest acceptable then?
Praise be to Allah (God almighty).
Necessity dictated that the children of Adam (peace be upon him) had to marry one another in order to produce offspring and populate the Earth.
In some reports it says that no son was born to Adam (peace be upon him) but a girl was also born with him, so the boy born from this pregnancy married a girl from another pregnancy, and the girl born from this pregnancy married a boy from another pregnancy; it was forbidden for the boy and girl from the same pregnancy (i.e., fraternal twins) to marry one another.
This is mentioned in reports narrated by Ibn Jareer at-Tabari in his Tafseer (10/205-207) from Ibn ‘Abbaas and Ibn Mas‘ood (may Allah be pleased with them).
I copied the answer.
But you can read about the story of qabil and habil among the sons of Adam peace be upon him from the Qur'an in Surah Mai'da chapter 5
@@taherabunama4559 so incest was ok back then.
@@Partyinglikeits1999 It wasn't incest, the girl born from one pregnancy would marry a guy from another pregnancy
@@EhsanAfridi that does not make sense. Adam and Eve the only humans. She falls pregnant has a baby…..who does that baby end up marrying when they get older?
@@Partyinglikeits1999 that do make sense bcz it was allowed back then by none other than God, so we are nobody to discuss that, talk about now, are u trying to justify it in this day n age? R u trying to use it as a pretext to have incest? Leave that to the past, live in present, earlier men used to eat raw meat, bcz they didn't know to cook etc, so r u going to eat meat or fish raw today?

POINT: We accept mistakes when our true aspiration is not to do mistake. It's all about our self-identity. Eg, I want to stay sinless and great, so even if the scenario makes us wrong (ALLAH Is the Judge) I will accept it because it's not my nature or identity to sin. Also it's how the arrogance is tested. Many other unwritten emotions and character choices that defines us are being tested. This is the core trial parameter I feel.

I mean he's truly a master of his craft and then the fact that Allah has blessed him with this skill. I always take inspiration from him and he'll forever be a good Muslim role model for me. I mean, so much has been clarified such as yknow the earth not being a punishment but rather a place to live before we are ultimately risen up from the dead and then be sent to our final destination ie. Either jannah or jahannum. Also striking the perfect balance when comparing Adam and Ibless cz yes at times in my life I too had this thought that Ibless also felt hurt but not acknowledging that Ibless could've handled this differently either by asking Allah's forgiveness or yknow smth else. Anyhow so he's the bad guy but once you fully understand the story from different angles and POV then there's no room to sympathize with him.

A good few years ago I was having this conversation with two Christians at work. White female catholic and white make protestant and the topic of Adam AS came about. When they mentioned that this world is a curse and this is why we have to labor (we're at work) on earth because of Adam AS sins (audhubillah) . I told them it was Allahs plan all along that we would be descendants of earth. There was silence from both. It's just excuses to elevate the status of Isa AS to that of the ultimate human blood sacrifice after all.

Saheeh Bukhari
Volume 8, Book 77, Number 611:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, “Adam and Moses argued with each other. Moses said to Adam. ‘O Adam! You are our father who disappointed us and turned us out of Paradise.’ Then Adam said to him, ‘O Moses! Allah favored you with His talk (talked to you directly) and He wrote (the Torah) for you with His Own Hand. Do you blame me for action which Allah had written in my fate forty years before my creation?’ So Adam confuted Moses, Adam confuted Moses,” the Prophet added, repeating the Statement three times.

I'm so glad to have the explanations. I have question the resident of jannah (garden as English translation or heaven as I understand) at that time. By QS 2:34 iblees was included as"malaikah", meaning that QS 2:36 syaitan was also included as "malaikah". Was it true? If not, I will be having another question, how was jannah security system which allowed iblees and syaitan be in jannah at that time? Please answer this question, thank you in advance.
Simply brilliant ! ... thank you
May our Lord accept your effort.
I am reading the Koran in English and I have a question. Anyone who knows the answer please help.
In the second chapter God says " Oh Children of Israel..." I noticed this many times. To my questions
1. Wasn''t the Koran sent directly to Prophet Muhammad pbuh from God. Why was God adressing the Children of Israel at the time of the Prophet.
2. Also why is the adressing of The Children of Israel relevant today? Is God talking to the Israelians that are opressing Palestine. God speaks directly to the children of Israel, why? Why is that relevant. Shouldn't God speak to the believers or just people from the time of Prophet Muhammad till the last day.
Please help me understand the Koran. Thank you.
Where the hell is hell come from.?😁
As an example, the temperatures of heaven and hell are estimated from data given in the Bible. Quite surprisingly, it is found that heaven (525 °C) is hotter than hell (
A excellent explanation about Adam A.S. creation. Thanks a lot.
Mumbo Jumbo. The religiously deluded. Allah owns everything, including this video. There is no Jannah, nor is there any heaven. Fantastic delusion but non-believers have no objection to various faiths. They are even prepared to overlook the punishment of death for apostates. Every man makes his/her own choice.
I have a question. As of this moment I conclude from what I have learnt that humans and jinns are both creatures of choice. But jinns are lacking in the element of ruh that gives light and helps to make judgement between right and wrong. So, how come the jinns are self-responsible for their deeds the same way we are. Doesn't their nature of their arrogance or violence come from their nature of being created from fire, isn't the lack of control over those in their fitrah? If else then what's really the difference because on the other hand humans have been given the mercy of being made from the neutral and stable natured mud. Which makes sense in that that our composition of soul and balance in decision-making makes us creatures worthy of judgement. So, why will jinn kind fall in the same category with humankind of being held accountable for their deeds the same way in judgement day, or is it any different? I just want to have my misconception pointed out and made clear to me. (And I declare no doubt in the perfection and purity of our almighty creator Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala)
