- What do you guys think? This is the first prototype of "Flatstep Work Boots", a barefoot/zero drop work boot brand for people who want boots that don't hurt their feet. The shape is just about dead-on for a human foot, something tragically rare in the work boot industry right now. The final version will get water proofing and a custom shaped hard-toe component, and then will be made available for purchase! Are they oil / slip resistant and waterproof?
The first version we release will be slip, puncture, and EH resistant and water proof

Is there an all black version of the boot ?
People have asked this and we want to offer that down the road. At this very moment we have to overcome the first hurdle of getting enough preorders to offer all the sizes and cover production and shipping costs. Hoping to release mid-late July. @@mediaaddict3997 A good reason not to wait is that without enough initial orders, it won't be possible to invest in the molds for a decent size range, cover shipping, production costs, taxes, etc. not to mention any sort of marketing budget. That's why we have a crowdfunding campaign looking for support from the people we will help. We can't offer every specification right away, this isn't Nike, but I quit my job and came to Mexico to do this so I greatly appreciate the people who can see the bigger picture in having a barefoot work boot company successfully get off the ground for the benefit of every person who has to wear boots to work.

those look great! are you going to work with the manufacturer to ensure that the lasts are sized appropriately when the hard toe cast is added (i.e. a US 11 Mens will fit the same and you will not need to go up 1/2 size or a full size in order to have the boot fit properly)?
Thank you! Yes, these will be properly sized, actually somewhat roomier even with the cask than what you see in normal boots so your toes aren't constricted.

The toe cap looks really goofy. And would be better to have a lug sole.

After 26 years in the military., my back, my knees, my hips, my ankles, my toes{I know that’s a song that is certain lady sings🙂↕️} but I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about reality.{Now how much will they cost?$$$$🧐🤨?(i’m guessing you’re in the $300 mark to be generally discreet, but because of the ingenuity and the time spent, I’m pretty sure you’re gonna have them around 800 bucks(but I hope not)🕊️🩵✊🏼✊🏾✊🏻✊🏿✊🏽 peace and I hope you prosper.
