Say, The Goatman, you might think he’s just standing there, but he will come running at you at any point of time. The Boiled One, feeds off of fear and will only chase when you’re not looking. So when you don’t know where he is, he will run at you and attack at no notice given. When you see The Boiled One, I suggest staring at it until it disappears. He might also have a big hitbox, like he might reach you from your roof or house. Putting the mod aside, The Boiled One is a made up thing by a 17 year old. Any younger audiences that believe they will get possessed by him needs to know that’s he a fictional projection on a screen. No matter how many nightmare you have of him, he’s not real. The whole phenomenon is to generally scare everyone.

Idk if it is originally from an Analogue horror video but I remember seeing it from one. It’s actually one of my main concerns with Minecraft horror mods, that wherever the modders got the ideas from, there is a small chance the orginal creators don’t get credit. For example, the Siren Head and Cartoon Cat mods, the creator of Siren head and Cartoon Cat(also Cartoon Dog but he is known less) are made by an illustrator named Trevor Henderson and had made those creatures several years ago, even way before the memes became popular, you see, I’m not sure if the people who play the mods are aware of this, since I myself don’t play them. Also this is just me AND kind of random, but I hope that people who watched the recent A Quiet Place: Day One didn’t think it was the first movie in the series, since recently A Minecraft mod was made for it, and A Quiet Place is only recently getting popular cuz the new movie(btw A Quiet Place(all three movies) is one of my top favourite movies). In fact for people who don’t know and have only watched that one, A Quiet Place: Day One has a completely different cast from the first two and is only something like a “prequel”, and maybe even just to keep us distracted while they make the actual third movie which has been in production for years(I am so excited😭). If you haven’t seen 1 and 2 PLEASE GO WATCH IT.

for your safety 🛟 whenever the boiled one spawns it plays the train horn/trumpet . whenever he comes after you it plays the idk it plays the sound that makes ear hurt lol but not louder than anomaly mod. the sound effect you called "emergency call" was actually morse code lol. there's a phenomenon of the boiled one that was kinda a disaster in yt, i was genuinely scared, his trumpet kept playing in my head making me uncomfortable even if it's day time. you can't survive hiding from him, he has a range of 10-30 iguess blocks if it is 15 iguess blocks far than you, then it still can kill you from that distance (they made it that way) you can survive only by making a tall watch tower ( he can't climb ) . also if you look at his eyes he will stop coming towards you. it doesn't spawn near if there's 2 or more players. it can spawn in caves. it cannot spawn in day time ( sometimes it does chances are pretty low ). if somehow I manage to talk with the devs, I can make this mod scarier but I have to talk with them since I don't have a pc I can only suggest to them what they should do, it's my 2nd favourite mod in mc.

Having his theme song and speech playing before an attack is ominous, but reducing him to a common run-and-one-shot monster doesn't do him justice in my personal opinion.
