That's because Activision lost the rights to Transformers. They had actually released remasters for this and War for Cybertron for the PS4/Xb1 generation, but they were delisted of the digital stores.

Grimlock's body was quite literally separated piece by piece in a very horrific way and then remolded back together while Grimlock was conscious during Shockwave's experiments. its like a human being awake while his skin is ripped off followed by his circulatory system, bones, organs, and finally your brain before being mashed and molded back together. The fact Grimlock is still even conscious let alone his capacity for free will when Shockwave intended to enslave his mind is an accomplishment on its own
