    Being is precisely what you are. There is no separation between Being and True Nature or Soul.

    "We can't disregard energy. We can't disregard the life force that runs through; our connection with humanity, our connection with all sentient beings. We think we can cut ourselves off from the lifeforce, and just observe it and talk about it? We're fools." Wow. I'd like to carry this gem with me.

    What an absolute powerhouse!
    I've had some difficulty warming up to Ms Bourgealt until falling head over heels in love and admiration for her and the specific genius she brings to the table.
    Clearly the mistake was my own, and what an error it was.

    A useful aide to achieving this style of being is Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now. It teaches how we can just live in THIS moment. This stops us dualising, because past, future, wants, fears, shames etc cannot exist in THIS moment. It brings great clarity and helps one to taste and savour each and every moment we are given and be more in tune with truth.

    Kids and animals always get my knowledge impregnated with love. It feels timeless sometimes, just watching a little raccoon or skunk eat, or watching my kids play together. It's almost a feeling of the Garden of Eden or something. It's eternal. I could just gaze at them in love eternally.

    Words, words, words.....that's all we have to describe the indescribable. And it's all too easy to fall in love with all manner of IDEAS and theories about BEING all the while forgetting the means by which we can achieve greater awareness of being. Stop talking ABOUT it and show us HOW to realize it.

    • @spiritualanarchist8162

      And so you added some more words to explain your view on her use of word. ..And so it goes on and on for centuries .Everyone telling the other how the words they use are wrong, instead they should, etc .....Ad infinitum.

      @@spiritualanarchist8162 You should read again what I said. I did not say that words are wrong. Rather, we get caught up with them as well as with ideas and theories that describe what cannot be described with words. It can only be realized by direct experience.

    • @anxiousbeachbums
      @anxiousbeachbums 3 года назад +4

      @@GnosisMan50 I agree. By chance, are you receiving occasional "glimpses" into that greater awareness? Sometimes I wonder if, to advance my growth, I need to park myself in a monastery or a cave to escape this world. But I'm convinced that the full blessing may come when we can walk in and overcome this world (with all its temptations and distractions) and increasingly grow as a blessing to and reflection of Christ.

    • @GnosisMan50
      @GnosisMan50 3 года назад

      @@anxiousbeachbums Unfortunately, I do not have glimpses. Ken Wilber who created Integral Theory makes the distinction between waking up and growing up. The former is spiritual and the latter is psychological. Many in the Integral community say that we must work on both equally to reach spiritual awakening but I agree with Lynn Fuentes that we must grow up first before we can wake up spiritually. In this, I often feel as you do in that the only way to truly awaken spiritually is through the ascetic practice of prayer and meditation in an isolated place like a monastery. But for the vast majority of us, it's unrealistic to devote so much time on this. I prefer instead to focus on growing up and psychotherapy has helped me a lot. I also read-a lot! Among those book that help me grow up is Dr. Robert Firestone's recent book "The Siege of the Self". He sees what we cannot see by describing in detail the utter complexity of the human mind and how it prevents us from growing up. The causes are many: the main one is parenthood. It's also our cultural conditioning, society, and our lack of self awareness among many other obstacles. Below are excerpts from Dr. Firestone's book....you don't need to be a psychologist to understand it.
      *_People are reluctant and frightened to be aware of the essential division within their personalities. They are threatened to discover that they have irrational, destructive thoughts and derisive attitudes toward themselves and others that conflict with their basic orientation toward life. Rather than recognize this split within the self, they accept the internal voice as their own point of view. Unaware and unwilling to tolerate this lack of integration, they tend to compromise their basic aliveness, spontaneity, and individuality and conduct their lives in a manner that is largely dictated by the incorporated voice process_*
      *_The concept of the voice refers to malevolent internal thought processes and attitudes toward self and other people that oppose the self-realization of the individual. These attitudes and feelings are the antithesis of a unique and positive self-differentiation. Voices relate to destructive ideation that criticizes and punishes the individual and maintains negative, cynical, and hostile attitudes toward others_*

    The text reads, it is written love your neighbor as yourself and hate your enemies. But Jesus said, but I say to you love your enemies and do good to those who persecute you. So there is a difference between neighbor and enemy. CB seems to be saying there is a higher form of consciousness for her and those who subscribe to this message. Isn't that a dualism? In fact, I think, I am a mind, I am a body, I am a spirit, three in one, just like the image of my Father. I don't have these things, creating a dualism, I am these things. As an aside, the term "one cosmos' is incorrect. That would make it a unity that is bounded. I don't know if the cosmos is one. And what does Jesus have to do with this rising consciousness? What do I need him for if I have the Buddha mind? I'm skeptical but will continue to listen.

      Al, it is worth remembering that over - intellectualising any teachings leads to a standstill . Also , it is likely that the Gospels were transcribed from one language to another many times well after Jesus 'passing .
      The scribes themselves were not well paid , and worked long hours -often by oil lamplight . The potential for poor translations is obvious - especially since many of the scribes were unlikely to have grasped the fullest meaning of the texts they were transcribing or copying .
      So , for me I try to get a picture of Jesus himself . Yes the intellect is used here , but also - the seeing through the eye of the heart . In those examples you give it is possible to go past any confusion and hear what Jesus was saying to us .
      He's talking about forgiveness - a forgiveness born of the understanding that we seemingly separate beings are actually the One being . Everyone has similar needs at basic level - that's easy to see . When we are in opposition we reinforce the idea of separation . Jesus gives many clues such as ; "The Kingdom of Heaven is spread all around you , but you don't see it ." The "Kingdom" is not a geographical location . It is here right now , always. Until we see it , we stay in the intellectual and in egos version of reality. Seeing through the warm and silent heart takes us beyond limited thinking .
      Jesus told us to forgive - in the understanding that we are all sparks of the One Source - God .
      We are "made in God's image ", and , " I tell you , ye are Gods " . (we create our own version of reality?) , and so many more clues that for me lead to the realization of what it means to " Love others as (if they are ) yourself ". From this attitude we fully identify /empathize with others . We even go past the concept of forgiveness , because if we don't condemn anyone we don't don't even need the concept of forgiving them in the first place . In Buddhism , the act of bearing a grudge is described as a delusion . Why ?...because in reality there is no separate individual . The act of hating hurts the hater.
      From a merely mortal perspective , it all can seem confusing .
      From the mystical perspective there is no confusion .
      That's why all true spiritual paths recommend a personal encounter with meditation , centering prayer , contemplative prayer , sitting silently in nature , or whatever appeals to you.
      Last night I was listening to an account of a WW2 bomber pilot sitting in his tent in Italy between missions feeling overcome with fear . He was 21 . The casualty rate was very high and in his utter despair , with no other hope he decided to try prayer . After some time of this sincere and intense prayer he was astounded that the space became filled with a light that he could not explain. He found that his fears were entirely stilled , he was comforted , and a knowledge swept through his being that everything would be alright . And so it was that he no longer felt debilitating fear on his missions and lived to tell the story in his eighties .
      I hope that something in my words helps .🤗💌

      @@onenessbe9991 All that may be true. However, it is taken out of context. Simply put it is not the Gospel and by-passes the atonement, for God so loved the world that He gave his only son that whosoever believes in Him shall be saved. Of course this is a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to the Greek (intellectuals today).

    "Spooky genius funny - when we run that operating system whose whole basic algorithm is perception through separation how in the live hell are you going to perceive unity and outruns the operating system you just can't do it because to perceive to actually perceive unity you have to
    perceive from unity and to try to perceive unity using the mind meaning the rational facility is like trying to take your old underwriter Underwood typewriter if you could still remember what those are and asking it to run the internet it can't do it it out runs the operating system it's not because of the sinful self will of the typewriter it's just because it can't do a unity with the programming that it relies on separation mmm-hmm" I read somewhere that Gurdjieff called the brain a typewriter forget it *** it's not because of the sinful self will of the typewriter ***

    The parable of the vineyard is about God’s love. CB says that Christianity has made a hypocrisy of itself because she knows that her vision is not the compatible with traditional Christian teaching. She and the new gnostic mystics deny the gospel that says Jesus gave his life as a ransom for many. Obviously not for CB or Richard Rohr.
