Thank you reddit for helping me find your channel! Love this. Learning stuff with ASMR is just fantastic. So funny hearing about your random house noise... It's so weird how you can live with background sounds like that for so long... until we notice them and it's all we can hear. Looking fwd to your next vid 🙂🙌
Love it! Keep it up! One thing I'd love to see sometime (might not be possible because it's your work) but it would be cool to see the code in a window while you type. Seeing the text while hearing the typing does something for me. Either way it's good though :)
This is so technical and I love it SO much! 🌝🌝🌝 Also... Just wanted to let you know that I went for a jog and accidentally opened RUclips while running, and somehow got to this video. I couldn’t keep up with my jog if I listened to the video, so I saved it because I was hooked from the get go. I HAD to make sure I came back to it. Lol. 😅 Best. Accident. Ever.
The S sound is, I think, called a Sibilance. There are audio filters to remove it and I believe a pop filter in front of the microphone will soften it. That said, some people like it and it doesn't bother me! On some people though, it can be all you can hear and yes, once you focus on it, it will drive you crazy!
@@dotslashASMR it would be nice to think I'll learn something from your videos but I don't think I'll stay awake long enough, your voice is as soothing as any asmarist I've ever heard . You have good production values and unusual themes. Looking at your other videos this evening, you asked if the sound was OK, I really only listen to asmr and it sounds very good to me. Fantastic work, keep it
Great video. I somewhat prefer what the first video sounded like. Also putting down your coffee mug was a bit jaring. Maybe try felt? Either way I love your channel.
@@dotslashASMR I'm not really sure how to describe it. I did actually like the keyboard being a bit louder (I know weird lol) but other than that in general something about the forest one was just a tad nicer to me for some reason. Sorry I can't really be more specific.
Gotta love stateful components! It might sound obvious already but maybe your props weren't being passed when you made it into a stateful because you didn't declare props in the constructor of the class? I like how you just reduxed it lol awesome video! I look forward to more coding videos.
Hey! Just wanted to reach out and say thanks for leaving this comment :) It was one of the comments I saw a month or so ago that inspired me to come back and start making videos again - so I really appreciate you taking the time to leave it! I hope you're well!
I'm not familiar with what audio tools video editors have but a De-essing filter will take care of a lot of the whistle. It's a quite common thing and most every vocal on modern songs will de-essed to soften the S sound as eq can really ruin the timbre of the voice, as you've found. Honestly, I don't mind it one bit! You're doing great!
Thanks for the feedback! I was worried that using the de-esser might end up taking away some of the other consonant sounds, as they all sit kind of around the same frequency I think. Maybe I’ll give it a shot, but I guess if it’s not bothering anyone I won’t worry about it too much!
@@dotslashASMR I say don't worry about it. You become hyper aware when listening to yourself. After you pointed it out I noticed it once or twice, then I was just engrossed in what you were saying.
Lol yeah don’t worry I’m not actually deploying directly to prod. Our setup makes that impossible you always have to go through a staging environment first. Not actually even pushing to test/staging in this video just pushing the new changes to the branch.
You're talking seems fine to me. Do you know much about "Python" or "R" programs?? I keep thinking about learning a program (preferably "open source" and not expensive) that is geared towards econometrics and statistics, but it seems like there's 30 choices out there, and I want something that's universal and that isn't going to die off in usage over the next 5-10 years. All the ASMR people say it's hard to get the channel built up. so don't get discouraged--it's going to take weeks or months to build a large group of "subbies" even if you're firing on all cylinders so to speak
Rubin4749 thanks for the feedback! I know some about Python and could definitely do some introductory stuff on it if you like, but don’t use it much for my job - we deal mostly with Node, Javascript and Go. But yeah Python is a great one to learn, particularly if you’re into Machine Learning or AI (and those are super “future-proof” subjects that aren’t going away.) You can’t go wrong with JavaScript as a starter - it’s incredibly widely used and also a good gateway into learning other C-based languages.
Hey there! I hope you weren't too disappointed by that - for legal reasons unfortunately I can't show anything that I'm working on for my company. But I do have a few videos where I screenshare and do some basic tutorials! ruclips.net/p/PLMPqqx6oDVxP54fu_dTdCtCLkDk0j7CKt Check them out if you'd like!
I like the S sound. It's like your signature sound. It's really relaxing and it makes you sound genuine and not overly produced. Subscribed!

The best part is that i listen to this while im coding so thats great
I love the “S” whistle! I had a teacher that also had this and it always gave me ASMR 😊💤
Fantastic video, i love it :)
She is a very cute programmer with a nice soft voice . Keep up the good work.

This is so cool and quite unique! Will you be doing a tutorial on React at all?
iPrune yes! I will. Stay tuned
Beautifully softly spoken 😴

2:41 perfect for a horror movie plot

SSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUBBED! can't wait to see more :)
A cup of something on one's desk is obligatory for all programmers :)
Agreed!
I'm guessing that recording this video can help give you a free "rubber duck" for working. Great content! Look forward to more.
You're totally right! You guys are basically all my litte rubber duckies lol :)
OMG! You have 56 subscribers already!

hello why do you use mac? for your job or ?
Thank you. 👍🏽👍🏽

I only use python.
you're cool!
Don’t do anything about the way you say your S’s please, it’s relaxing 🙂
Thank you!
not gonna lie, I expected at least a little bit of code..
