This man makes literally almost all FANMADE Superbosses look like their from Let’s Go. What an obscene difficulty. This is basically the same as fighting a trainer that has Primal Groudon, Mega Rayquaza, Ultra Necrozma, Arceus, Gen-1 Mewtwo(744 Base Star Total), and freaking Shadow Lugia(Shadow moves). Seriously, props to you for beating this monstrosity of a boss. Edit: Stat, not star. Why Autocorrect? Why?
I was considering doing this fight with live commentary, but ultimately decided against it. I’m extremely satisfied that I won this battle without the use of healing items (max revives, full restores, etc.), it’s not an easy thing to do. For anyone playing along, I challenge you to do the same! :D Also, I really have to thank the AI for being a dumbass on not knowing how to use a Pokemon with base 184 attack + Huge Power.
Lol! KUDOS lad! This reminds me of the ludicrously difficult battle against Gil Turtle in Final Fantasy V. I've been playing pokemon since the late 90s and I'm fairly acquainted with the first two generations but I'm no pro by any stretch of the imagination so I can see how some dedicated strategist would beat it without using potions, but myself I just couldn't for the best of me. Now I'm an old player and a purist, I don't like using legendaries, potions, or held items, and I didn't even care for abilities until this game bent me to its will. I have a bruthal gorilla style approach to the games of training until fainting and spending as little money as possible, that's how I've always done it. For this game my team was Syleafid, Togekiss, Aurostice, Raichu, Houndoom and Kapwondo. I could manage to beat the game without legendaries but I couldn't bypass the third gym without potions and held items, it's just impossible to me. I remember coming to MewTwo early on and beating it on my first try only to not save and have to replay the battle ELEVEN times until I could scrap a win. I believe this game somehow becomes harder everytime you lose. For this fucker I was packed to the brim with stuff and even then I'd be forced to lose up to three times against each one of this monsters just realize how to win.
Astignite somehow makes this even harder The good one is Royalert and Basilux. Also , watch out for Doodloo. That fucker has Pure Power , which is very dangerous paired with its blazing speed and high Attack.
It's tough considering they have great movesets and not random crap you see from kids on Sun and Moon. The guys who made his team really knew what they were doing.
Sallymencer hey! Hey! Procyon and deneb are in production, and these games will be awesome! Worry not vega fans, the sequels will be here one day! Bye from Crow
Personal Opinions:1 I love all the aspheres and I know how to legitimately get each of them, 2 I didn't't expected shadow lugia and primal dialga, 3 SHADOW NEMEA IS AWESOME
If you want the codes to make them appear in the wild, let me know. I have Altair clone Asphere at level 100 with 544 special atk, lol. That's why they're unbeatable!
Kain Highwind i know you can get them in the wild but wouldnt the game crash because the clones dont have dex entries? im curious cus ive been trying to hack them in myself
Actually, they don't make the game crash. You have to turn off the cheat only when you encounter them in the wild. I got kinda surprised, because I thought the same thing, but after making some backup, I realized they count as extra pokèmon (n° 387, 388, 389, etc.), the only issue about the cheat is that they take a long time to spawn in the wild. They work perfectly without any trouble, I brought every single one of them at lv100 and they're freakin' op. xD
Kain Highwind thanks for info i actually found out that you could use a fire red save file (since vega saves wont work and vega is a fire red rom hack) in a save editor like a-save and gen them in using their index number (for example op doodloo is the 2 question marks with 0x103 with the dex number of 394) so you can get them that way. i did find that genning them in the party gives them deoxys-normal’s base stats tho, havent tested taking them out of the box tho will try codes thx :D
You're welcome, man. Feel free to spread those codes anywhere you want. I'm sure that lotsa people wanna get those 2 forms, along with the superclones. I'm glad to be helpful! :D
Kain Highwind one problem is that even though we can get the clones, the moves are a different story... especially icebolt wave as you only encounter it once in all of pokemon vega
If you EV train R'duckulus, the last fight isn't too hard. R'duckulus has 75 attack and 117 speed, but he has the huge power ability. That doubles his attack, so he'll end up with a 200 attack stat. Put on a choice scarf and he's faster than any of the mons on the opponent team and he can OHKO them with ease. A baton pass with shell smash is another great way of doing this, though I wouldn't have passed it over to metagross here. He's too slow even with doubled speed.
2:02 Did that thing just......hooooooo no I'm not about that life. Can you imagine how busted a BP Shell Smash mon would be, especially one as bulky as that thing ? Also, the music in this battle is GOD LIKE, I have my picks with Vega, but what it does right it really does it well. Also, what was it with that golden Nemea? It didn't sparkle like shiny.
Mining Trout I actually forgot those two mons even existed, lol. But I think I know why the strat never caught up: simply put, Gorebyss and Huntail suck, there stats do look okay on paper, but in practice they are way to slow and have to much of a low HP stat to allow them to take hits well enough. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's very unreliable. Now to be fair, I don't know Serplant's actual stats since info on this game's mons is so little and I just don't know why, but with a relatively better defensive typing and being as bulky as I've heard from, then the strategy would probably work much better on this thing.
Is there a way t beat Dood loo without runing intimdate and keep revving the intimidat user until it get more managable? I know it's a 184 BS atk with huge power and 157 BS speed but what about a fast strong special sweeper or phantom the normal ghost with wonder guard ?
Phantonate can still be wrecked if that Doodloo used Devastate ( which has STAB ) i'd suggest you to use status with it , preferably burn or sleep. Turner sometimes gonna waste a turn on healing its Doodloo , whack it with high powered physical attacks .
Defril Prihadyansyah Good coverage, but I'd discourage you from using the really strong legends (BST >600). It takes the challenge out of the game. Also, give your Komo Dragon Dance.
So, any good replacement for Nemea and Mewtwo ? I plan to replace them with Ganerth and something defensive. Any suggestion for good defensive pokemon besides Serplant ?

I just defeated Turner with the following team: Raikou, Mamoswine, Tyranitar, Phantomate, Glamarde and Choking. Phantomate triggers a switch to either Dialga or Doodloo and can immediately attack with Shadow Clamp or Devastate. Raikou easily walls Dialga and the two Aspheres with two Calm Minds, Choking checks Doodloo and Lugia after a few Intimidate and can cripple them with Will-O-Wisp, Celuredge can tank one hit and retaliate with Thunder Wave or Confuse Ray. Tyranitar Sets up a sandstorm for chip damage and Mamoswine...let's just say there's a reason why it's mandatory to invest EVs in Speed as much as possible. It's hilariously frail.
It"s hard, but I beat Turner with Basilux ( Despite a low stat on paper it's freaking powerful ) , Darkrai, Phenusc, Correncid , Ormaria and Vega Asphere. My trick is Do the Dark Void and spam the Rapid Growth. A bit risky and slow though.
anyone know a good grinding spot to level up a team quickly? the vs seeker only works outside and the highest levels i can find with that atm are the trainers between the entrance of the pokemon league and the exit for victory road
I think you might try EV training , there's a whole list of it in the wiki i think. If you want grinding spot , try Sphere Ruins. It has around lv 60 to 100 wild mons
I always go with 252 SpA , 4 Def , 200 SpD and 54 Spe Or if you want it to be faster probably put all the SpD into speed , but only if you don't want to use shell smash Alternative if you want it to be a wall , put all 252 into Def and SpD and spend the rest on speed.
@@olaboratoriodeivi Sphere Ruins for EXP. Since it's the best place where you can get the grinding spot postgame , or you could go against gym rematches.
It's possible. But you gotta wait for a long time to build team. Most of Turner's fakemon hits hard and quick. Gotta put something that can one shot them mons. That doodloo has roughly 400 attack without pure power
No, they got it from the mystery dungeon games. Unless you just mean the idea of using it in a main series-style game, but i guarantee you most people who've played mystery dungeon had the same idea long before radical red even started development.
Well , if you're the type of guy who "pummel first , defense later" , you might like Nimbleaf instead. Nimbleaf stats is "kill-or-be-killed" , high Attack , Sp.Attack and Speed , but low Defense and Sp. Defense ( not to mention 4x weakness to Ice , but Thick Fat can handle those). If you're going for balance , what he said , Liquiput. Liquiput is an excellent mixed attacker and a semi-tank , however you got to be careful with it since it is the slowest of the three , most things can outspeed it. If you like more defensive style, pick Peyero . It's tanky and can take hits from both physical and special , albeit Ground is its most feared enemies . And it's somehow got the lowest attacking power. ( it has Clear Body to prevent lowered stats )
SilentSlime oh God, you're awesome at this game! I used a team with: caudaleaf, mandiblade, komoragon, Nostratos, phenusc and altair asphere. Is it good again?
SilentSlime I did not used legendaries, I used a komoragon replacing asphere. And I used savestates (i know It is like cheating, but I didn't had money because I was trying to get hantama)
Syleafid can use RG to boost , but since its defense is so frail you have to rely on coverage like Diamond Blast for Altair Asphere , or Typhoon against Clone Nemea and pray the buff and nerf is worth it. Correncid is the most survivable due to its defensive stat. Your main option in Poison is pretty much Toxin Spray or Sludge Wave. I'd say go with Sludge Wave. Put some Ice moves for coverage too, Frostbite is recommended since it does the same as RG but weaker , for Clone Nemea and Sirius Asphere ( watch out since Sirius Asphere is part electric that it might one shot Correncid ). If you have Astignite , you definitely must have Thunder Wave or Will-o-Wisp, because as we all know , Mos-Doodloo is legit dangerous. Paralysis can help against Mos-Doodloo as it has chance to rob him from using Devastate. Burn on the other hand helps soften the damage from Mos-Doodloo.
@@megasnowey7177 yep , that's an egg move, i usually breed though. Or alternatively you can use Basilux with Rapid Growth , works better in my case ( Basilux counts as starter too according to wiki )
I hate games that are designed to be frustrating. Make it difficult, sure but dont do stupoid shit like that. I was trying to enjoy the different Pokemon but the Mewtwo fight was so annoying that it completely kicked me out of it. Its is a bad mod. You may argue against but it is becouse rulebreaking is involved.

Pair that with a STAB Dark attack which has a freaking 120 BP

SilentSlime quick question, what pokemon were your eska and karugo? Pokedex is so damn hard to find/understand for this game :(
Eska is a Nostratos, and Karugo is a Serplant. They're both very powerful.
SilentSlime nostratos is probably the best normal pokemon to get, he's like mantrake, A MONSTER.
Serplant is the best leech seed tank in the game. Mine is a hybrid: high defenses and high special attack with Modest Nature! It really kicks ass. :D

Defril Prihadyansyah you can evolve vega asphere into altair asphere with a water stone if i'm not wrong
You can't . Because that Aspheere is exclusive form.
anyone know a good grinding spot to level up a team quickly? the vs seeker only works outside and the highest levels i can find with that atm are the trainers between the entrance of the pokemon league and the exit for victory road
I think you might try EV training , there's a whole list of it in the wiki i think.
If you want grinding spot , try Sphere Ruins. It has around lv 60 to 100 wild mons
Good video, 2 questions:
Where you grind for leveling the pokemon?
Ev spread for Serplant?
I always go with 252 SpA , 4 Def , 200 SpD and 54 Spe
Or if you want it to be faster probably put all the SpD into speed , but only if you don't want to use shell smash
Alternative if you want it to be a wall , put all 252 into Def and SpD and spend the rest on speed.
@@zapperil thanks! And for leveling the pokemon?
@@olaboratoriodeivi Sphere Ruins for EXP.
Since it's the best place where you can get the grinding spot postgame , or you could go against gym rematches.
Is there anything you can do after this battle?
This game is so ridiculously hard, 2nd gym and already struggling
Wtf is this balancing
Boi , you're gonna hate 7th gym here.
That shit almost made me rage quit
Thankfully , the sequel toned down the difficulty.
And this game is not even on the Kaizo Tier. What the actual frick.
wait, I did not know Doodloo has an evolved form!
I have Vega on a gba cart. Is it compatible with gameshark? Cuz this game can be some stinky bs sometimes
I did tried some , but immediately turn it off after you get what you wanted. WtW can freeze your game if you took too long in walls.
Lol I was tempted to play this but the game seems just a tad bit too difficult
Minus probably will help
@@zapperil it made balancing worse
Please HOW TO GET SHELL SMASH?
Edit:- Nevermind, I got it now
where can you find white herbs?
How much the power of move "Rampage"?
120
Is it possible to best without fakemons?
It's possible. But you gotta wait for a long time to build team.
Most of Turner's fakemon hits hard and quick. Gotta put something that can one shot them mons.
That doodloo has roughly 400 attack without pure power
So this is where Radical Red got the idea of Primal Dialga.
No, they got it from the mystery dungeon games. Unless you just mean the idea of using it in a main series-style game, but i guarantee you most people who've played mystery dungeon had the same idea long before radical red even started development.
vega is too damn difficult
grind till death i can assume playing this game without speeding it up is a fucking nightmare
hey can someone give me tips bc I'm starting this game today and idk what Pokémon I need, or what's good
My advice, start with liquiput. Also, catch and train a Velvet but make sure it has intimidate and drain punch.
@@SilentSlime thanks, on a completely different note, I've started playing on my phone with the John gba emulator, and I am playing Pokémon cyan
( it has Clear Body to prevent lowered stats )
does anyone know how to evolve ambilade into mandiblade
Level 37, evolves at random
if it start evolving into mercenade and i cancel the evolving is there still a chance for him to evolve into mandiblade
So, I want to restart pokemon vega, can someone give me hints for a new team please?
Crow il tizio del treno Grissly with drain punch and bulk up is always a good choice
SilentSlime thanks, I think grissly is a Good choice too
SilentSlime is caudaleaf a good choice?
Crow il tizio del treno I never used caudaleaf. If you need a good grass type, I'd use serplant. It's amazing with shell smash.
SilentSlime oh God, you're awesome at this game! I used a team with: caudaleaf, mandiblade, komoragon, Nostratos, phenusc and altair asphere. Is it good again?
recently did this battle, i got swept 5 times by the doodlo
No shame in that. With the huge power ability, it's stronger than attack forme Deoxys.
i mean, he landed a crit with every attack on the 4th attempt
Did you eventually win?
yeah, the 5th attempt was the one that i beat
Nice job. Not an easy fight.
I beat it in twenty minutes, but urs was so much more impressive lol
And you're left there at the end with the same bland music
EVS and IVS?
In all honesty the fake on look more like digimon
However i can see grass starters being a Pokemon lol
Especially Basille line.
....meanwhile in israel i cant get to the 2nd gym battle in reborn.
Did you need to IV/EV train for this fight or did you do it regular?
I defeated turner after 10 tries
Now do it with no legendaries and no healing items.
SilentSlime I did not used legendaries, I used a komoragon replacing asphere. And I used savestates (i know It is like cheating, but I didn't had money because I was trying to get hantama)
SilentSlime good for you that you had a serplant, I think that with him things would be more easier
I had a team for the fight. It was:hantama, lumoss, mandiblade, komoragon, yunesis, dizasol
But I used save states and items. And water absorb with that shadow Lugia was super clutch shell smash Serplant and Max revives while it sat there
Che ne dici! FACCIAMO L'APACHE?(voglio italiani sotto questo commento)
Who is trusedale
ishigashi gorham Trusedale's a Glamarde. It's a fantastic defensive wall.
SilentSlime ok what type is it?
Psychic
SilentSlime I don't find the base stat of glamarde can you write the stat?
ishigashi gorham use him, it is awesome and strong, I used him, he's a fuggin beast
this game's ai is very dumb, very good plays though.
Does anyone know how I can beat this with my team of 3 level 100 starters
@@zapperil rapid growth is an egg move for syleafid
@@megasnowey7177 yep , that's an egg move, i usually breed though. Or alternatively you can use Basilux with Rapid Growth , works better in my case ( Basilux counts as starter too according to wiki )
@@zapperil I actually managed to beat him already, is there anything to do after you beat him?
@@megasnowey7177 maybe try the endless battle in Distant Island ?
I hate games that are designed to be frustrating. Make it difficult, sure but dont do stupoid shit like that. I was trying to enjoy the different Pokemon but the Mewtwo fight was so annoying that it completely kicked me out of it. Its is a bad mod. You may argue against but it is becouse rulebreaking is involved.
