I have for several years been searching for help setting up a single arm Scara. You almost have it. I doubt anyone would build a PVC SCARA. If you made the video in the mindset that someone can use it to even build a PVC SCARA so I could use the video to help configure mine, I think you would have better results. For example, you installed end stops based upon your machine but my end stops may not be located in the same place or even the same direction, my motors may not turn the same direction and have the same right or left hand movement. One interesting thing I don't understand, If I set up my machine with the Y moving counterclockwise in the low direction and the X moving clockwise in the high direction (#define USE_XMIN_PLUG //#define USE_YMIN_PLUG //#define USE_XMAX_PLUG #define USE_YMAX_PLUG) and build, I seem to get the same result as using the other direction. Same result meaning, either setup: G92 x150 y150; G90 or(G91); G1 x100 (x-50) y 150 (no y) the arm moves the same direction down the x 50mm. I still am unable to get the homing to work. when I home with your setup or the other the arms move and will not stop until the Y end stop is reached. I can't seem to separate the two arms for homing, the program seems to look at both arms together and moves both arms to home Y. I think you are close to having a video that would work to set up any single arm SCARA if you removed a few assumptions such as assuming everyone motors will move the same direction to turn the arm the same direction. I know this probably makes little sense to you and why I could not make a video for others, you have that ability. This is the most helpful video I have found even if it did not help me get my SCARA working.
