- Xiao Qin, defends his world title on the pommel horse again this year with an outstanding performance that earned him a 16.300. Xiao was the only competitor to earn higher than a 16.000 on the pommel all day, helping China to win the team gold. (WCSN, WCSN.com)

"just hand him the gold and everybody else can go back to the warm up gym."
wow this guy is as good as lining!
Nobody in the world will ever swing like this again. This is legendary
Took the words out of my mouth...
Marius urzika does better
@@ademkhalilgharbi5579 you hate China? Xin gets much better hip extension than Urzica. Also executed the dismount better and keeps feet pinned together better.
@@imirish4702 no i dont hate chinese athlètes... Both are excellent but i prefer Marius because he is faster i think more stable imbatable since92 to 2004
@@ademkhalilgharbi5579 every gymnast would love to swing like this. Yeah you are right Urzica had a longer career span. A common thing I see in weaker gymnasts hips piked then gradually hips fall and then feet crash into pommel or worse the handles. Chen Yibing has the cleanest transitions on the rings in history. Swings to the most stable handstand of them all.
Here after 2021 Olympics and World Championship. Still nobody is as clean or high as him.
Maybe Rhys Mcclenaghan
Artemev 2008 routine better
@@roeldankers2479not even close
The commentators are loving this, lol. "It's beautiful.." "It is beautiful"
Xiao Qin is amazing at pommel horse!
It is 2024 and still no one swings like this! 😱😁🤪👍👍🇺🇸
This is a perfect swing. The hip height is incredible. It simply CANNOT be done better than this. Wow!
The only way I can see this being done better is if Jesus comes back and starts doing flares
@@NotRealGio jesus was only good at one thing, hanging from the cross...
Qiao Qin on pommel is in a league of his own.
What in the world??? Is that even possible?? The extension from his shoulder to his toes is friggin amazing.
Dec 2016 - this performance would still metal today!!
this is an amazing execution and high difficulty routine WOW
Just saw the 2013 World Championships Pommel Final and was disappointed since I saw this recently... I seriously hope this man has been recognised for just how ridiculously amazing he is.
That’s what training 6 hrs a day for 15 years will get you. This is my kind of champion.
Una LEYENDA! !
el mejor pomerhorser en la Historia!!
he has such a fast and extended swing...great stuff
awesome performance with amazing music in the back :D
Now that is now and FOREVER a 10! PERFECTION! 😱😁🤪👍👍🇺🇸
Fantastic routine, now that is a pommel guy.
how do you take 3 tenths from that?
One of the commentators sound like Edward Norton.
he is just amazing!
1-st place 16.300 2-nd place 15.325 3-rd 14.750 :D :X chinese klass !!
Amazing
Now this is a true athlete
The commentators are funny as hell!
guy, they were jizzing the whole time xD
The king of pommel.
@MrArbitrager Thanks for the suggestion. Not bad, but I think he's not as fast as Xiao Qin.
perfect
mesmerizing.
can you help me to sort the elements which has this guy done because i am studiing it and for me it is very hard to recognise them...thanks
just for my exam...
True
one of them was Bart Conner
I give myself 2 years to get to this level
Can defeat anyone in USA and UK. Much better than Max Whitlock. Can smash him any day.
Amazing 🙀🙀🙀👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💙🧡💜
@hmrhuang if you want to see fast check out 'Prashanth Sellathurai'
Xiao Qin is one of the few impressive guys in pommel horse.
Watch Valentin Mogilny of the USSR and Marius Urzica from Romania. Those 2 guys are some of the greatest. Mogilny my favorite if you ask me.
xiao is better
oh my goodness
I've never seen a male gymnast swing so fast on that apparatus. Wow.
So you've seen a female gymnasts swing like that?
Commentators? Yep, definitely orgasmic. lol
Amazing routine. I never get tired of watching it!
OH GOOD GOD
@spammmy 100% Sure you're gonna get to that level, especially that fast. Fire's cold btw.
hammergeil. ich will das auch können!
I don’t understand it but man it’s prob ridiculously hard. Respect.
The fact that his upper body was straight as a pencil and generally huge clearance. If you watch any other pommel performance you won’t get body lines like this
good job
He makes it look easy -- how is that possible?
@lflr4lnco Li Xiaopeng on Vault is amazing as well.
he looks like Ando from "heroes" xD apart from that he is GREAT, every move is so clean:)
BUT HE'S BACK FOR WORLDS NEXT YEAR!!!! :D
The Chinese is very clean. Xiao is very clean like all the chinese.
@KintambosVideoBlog LOL I was thinking that when I scrolled down and saw your comment.
hope can see him in London...
Actually, the 'cheat code' he is talking about is a compliment regarding their dedication and focus. What's rich is you automatically jumping to conclusions. Learn your internet lingo woman
鞍 馬 之 皇 !
just perfect... does he lost some points? don't see where he could have lost just 0.1..
Sinistro!
it's ironic to me that the Tina Turner song Goldeneye was playing
actually try swinging ONE circle...most cant.......
what the hell does his comment have to do with America,?? By the way, I may be wrong, but I interpreted the comment as a compliment... considering how they are very good at gymnastics
9.7 for execution. Where did these judges find .3 in deductions? I've watched it three times and I can't find even one tenth.
Leg touches the horse when he does his scissors. The guy is the best in the history of pommel horse to date. The degree of difficulty at that clearance of the pommels is extraordinary.
@@PageMarker1 Watching this again, I do see a tiny leg bend when he breaks back into circles. But as far as leg touches, I've never seen anyone do scissors without brushing the legs against the horse, have you?
@@chuckcassidymusic No, I haven't seen anyone not touch the horse while doing scissors, but the level of contact here is minimal. Unless a person has trained in the sport, it is difficult to convey how phenomenal this performance was. He probably started out very young and dedicated his youth to the event in endless hours of practice, shoulder strength and flexibility to get this good. This is TV, in person it was more than likely far more impressive as the announcers attest.
@@PageMarker1 That's my question though...why are they deducting for something that virtually no one can avoid? But I understand the training required for this...pommel horse and P-bars were my worst events ;-)
@@chuckcassidymusic Technically, those are very minor flaws and since the scoring is split these days, they have room to account for them without tipping the scales in favor of the others guilty of an inescapable offense. On a 10 point scoring system, this is a 10.
Sorry for not having responded sooner, and my fingers are getting weaker at guitar here.
0:41 sounds like the commentator jizzed.
Still a big fan of Artemiev
Sigh. Seriously? I made that comment a year ago. I don't even remember what the conversation was about.
If only Li Xiaopeng had decided to do vault
sss...creo que los chinos van a ganar muchas medallas de oro en los juegos olimpico, son demasiados buenos en gimnasia
WOW HE IS LIKE JKUHGU
wow, how straight you want? he is no doubt the best on this
Heck, even try doing one on a mushroom.
He's not going to london 2012!
@blindbraille your comment made me spit up my water, i was laughing so hard.
You're hilarious and i completely agree!
scissor when hes comes down on the swing and he has a couple feet flicks
its hard to see it in a video but if u were sitting three you would notice more.
if i could swing like that....
gymnastbg1 i Wanna watch you trying
lol: just hand him the gold and everyone can go back to the warmup gym
HI IS THE BEST
50 years from now this will still score big
Well, 10 years at least...)) Pommel clearance is as high & clean as humanly possible.
Never say never, but this is one for the ages.
didn't use both pommels at once until 0:55...
whose the one person to dislike!
LOL i knoww!!
dude bboy the end has some crazy routines too.
please serach bboy mob too
their both crazy.
he's retiring?? i thought he was just taking a break to get married! nooooo...... everyone's retiring!
im sure it was a joke
Have you ever seen Magyar in the 1976 Olympics? That's the greatest ever.
lol first time i've seen a gymnast approach bboy flares!
Ignorant… bboy couldn’t do this on pommel horse. Go do some push-ups and learn exercise
im sorry but the flare originated in gymnastics :)
@@ferivertid I know. I just said this was the first time for me seeing a gymnast do flares that look similar to how breakers do flares.
Hacker man
The main difference here is that we are debating - arguing if you will- about Magyar's 1976 accomplishments. Something tells me nobody will remember Xiao Qin's name in 33 years
Time also doesn't make your reply any more relevant. Or meaningful. Sorry.
well time won't make the comment less stupid, sorry
Well, excuse me for not recognizing internet lingo amidst all the replies I get claiming Asians are substance abusing in order to win, or whatever else some of these loonies come up with. On a platform as toneless as internet comments, I prefer precise English. After all, isn't the point of language to ensure clarity?
The "gay" or "nerd" you're probably referring to is married to the beautiful Nadia Comeneci, and is an olympic champion. And you?
fortunatelly for him, marius urzica wasn't in a very good shape at this competition.
Wow. That's rich. Considering America has the highest record for stripped medals, you may want to rethink that statement.
the commentaters sounds like a mix of gay and nerds
asians..
