Shinryu is hands down one of the most toughest bosses of Final Fantasy history. His first form taken down by one of the best cinematics the FF Universe has to offer, and his second form taken down by every single player of the FF Universe.
If you consider the lore of Dissidia, and how he was leeching off of their power and memories for *at least* 13 cycles, it makes sense as to why Shinryu would be so powerful
That part of the credits where it's 7, 8 and 9's turn to get their crystals and 9 is pulling Tactics in to get one too, just kicked me in the balls with childhood playstation feels. I love the symbolism. T-T

I wondered for a while how Jecht was able to give Squall such a run for his money.... and hold off both him AND Bartz at once, then I remembered: This is Jecht with the power of being a Final Aeon. He didn't care so much about the struggle between the gods.... but if they wanted a powerful fight, he could DEFINITELY bring it.
The whole shabam happened when WoL killed Garland, and his soul was sent in the past by the four fiend...except something went wrong, and an alternate version of FFI happened. lol

This was fuckin awesome. My only gripe is that it ended without Gabranth, a FFXIII villain, and a FFXV villain (most likely would've been Ardyn). FFXI and FFXIV villains would be great but I understand those games don't quite have the same hero-villain symmetry. Tactics and Type-0 villains would be neat too. In any case, they gotta give the post-X FFs their proper standing in the series. It was also kinda weird that Kain ended up being the only secondary representative hero so we def need some more. Definitely an awesome game though and I'm looking forward to more FF and Dissidia. ...And Materia and Spiritus are low-key tsundere for each other aren't they haha.

They are adding character DLC. They haven't confirmed anything on the story. And if that were the case, it would probably be prologues that won't be adding anything meaningful to the story. The original Dissidias had a story that felt rather weird tbh, specially considering Cloud and Terra's storylines with their original stories and personalities in their games, but it still had some legit enjoyable moments. NT managed to underperform in everything except the looks.

Not really. Story bosses, perhaps. But he has no superboss/ secret boss level. Even on hard mode, he is manageable.
