It’s about finding value in yourself beyond how you look and/or what you have. There is a major power difference between Shaun T and his “husband “. Fame and money can be a huge d!ck in the room among gay men. So being with someone with a level of fame when the partner has little or none can shift things into their favor if your life is made better/easier because your partner has a level of fame/wealth and that’s something you crave.
Just because you see another hot person doesn’t mean you have to have them. There is too much out here to be playing those games
It's important to note that when the two met both of them were in relationships & started entertaining each while they were with their partners. Next, Shun was "riped" by his step-dad I think he has some work to do.
I really don't get why so many gay couples bother to get married then decide to have open relationships. And here's the crazy thing about it, in the beginning a little while after gay marriage became legal it used to be odd when you heard about gay married couples having open marriages. But now it's gotten to the point that open marriages among gay men are so common nowadays that's it's now odd when you hear about those few who are actually monogamous.
But straight people also do the same thing... Can you elaborate on this thought a little more?
I mean getting married, especially legally, has far more benefits than a monogamous commitment. You get all the marital legal benefits that come with it. I’ve considered marrying my best friend to ensure that I have someone who will have my best interest if aomething goes wrong with me that my family wouldn’t respect.
You have so many heterosexual couples that are married and no longer have a sexual relationship Or romantic one for that matter but stay together for business or for company (I.e. their children/family). You have celebrities that get married for PR stunts and the what not. The culturally classic concept (clock that alliteration) of marriage has LONG been gone and gay people have done nothing but participate in it.

As a whole male gay relationships might be 35-40 years old if in fact that old. For the most part the only form of emotions they could share was just the swapping of erotic gestures and that's it.
