It's funny to me that Craig described JHud as a screamer. Because one of my close friends doesn't like a different big name artist because he says that artist screams too much but meanwhile he's a big Jennifer Hudson fan. I have nothing against JHud but she does indeed screams a lot when she sings. I don't say anything nor argue with my friend about it but his hypocrisy on that subject makes me laugh.
I concur. Here's another thing to consider, some singers just have a screamer tone of voice...even when they're singing "quietly". Many say that my favorite female vocalist, Patti Labelle, is a screamer. However, Aretha Franklin, is rarely called a screamer, even when she's hitting All the same high notes as Patti. ALL because of differences in vocal TONES.
