I don’t know how lions would win ever. Ghosts just can’t be hit, a single legendary or mythical could body millions easily, and even if the Pokémon never attacked they win because they can just sit there while the lions slowly get dehydrated and die. It’s a single sided crush.
Mod Idea. Get rid of every move for each character that they don’t implicitly using their games. Like Shulk uses backslash in his games so he would have that move, but Olimar would really only have his pikmin. Just an idea. :)

As a certified Pokemon supporter, seeing how quickly legendaries like Lunala, Entei, and Genesect absolutely *body* the lion helps me feel validated
